My mum & dad worked hard all their lives. When they retired, they stopped and neither lived long after that. Time came when I too retired, stopped, got very fat, prediabetic. My GP gave me 'that talk' five years ago. So, 'NHS Couch to 5K', then 5K ParkRuns, then Half-marathons, now virtual marathons. I want to push myself to the envelope of endurance, because I want to see if, just maybe, I still got it
After loosing 53kg and continuing, i want to do all that i couldn’t, I’m now working towards a half marathon and there is no limit to what i can achieve:)
My "why" was originally to lose weight and get fit. After completing an (albeit woefully underprepared) trail ultra a couple of years ago, my current "why" is to keep improving to reach peak fitness for my age, and definitely complete more long-distance races at a good (for me) pace.
Exactly what I thought. Managing to speak at the end was impressive. I clicked on the thumbs down icon by mistake and I'm just sitting on the sofa! Hopefully clicking on the thumbs up icon rectified that.
Great job Sarah, watching you go through this journey has made me want to run my first marathon in the fall. I can’t wait to train and I love the podcast too. Great job
I’m 58 and only started running two years ago after losing 90 lbs and transforming my life during Covid work from home. There’s a lot of backstory, but to be honest now is that I run to feel alive and because I still can. I run to prove to myself and my children that tough things are possible and worth all the effort. I run to be more present in my life, to quiet my mind and be a better person.
You looked so relaxed at the end of that. Well done. I'm 66 now, have only ever run one road marathon decades ago. Looked like those shoes make it a little easier...so maybe... And the colours are those of my favourite football team.
Well done Sarah! I am currently training for my first marathon and my "why" is because I am about to turn 40 and have chronic pain and fatigue as the result of my breast cancer treatment when I was 34. I set these goals to celebrate what my body can do, and continue to show myself I am capable of doing difficult things 😊 I run for the friends I made in the support groups that unfortunately didn't get to call themselves survivors 💔
Huge hugs to you, you'll do great! People and stories like yours are what motivate me to get out the door when I'm feeling whiny about my much smaller troubles. I'm currently reading an incredible book called "New Altitude", that follows a women's journey through illness, running, and mountain climbing. You might find it motivating on your journey. Best wishes to you!!
Watching people finish races always makes me tear up. Until you have run a marathon it’s impossible to relate to how hard the race is both physically and mentally. Congrats on a great race and take a well deserved break Sarah!
You don’t need to pull yourself together at the end. Cry as much as you need - they’re happy tears, end of a chapter tears, stress relief tears and you’ve achieved another goal tears. You’re amazing! Ps love that you normalize tummy issues!
Sub 3:50 marathon is very impressive for any normal people. You have done well Sarah. I ran my first marathon last Dec at age 52. Something I never quite believe I could do. And you know what, Anna and you are people that had done things in your lives that inspired me to take on a marathon and beyond. My sincere thanks to you all (the whole team of TRC) !
You made me cry! People often ask me why am I running marathons… THIS is exactly why! All the emotions you can feel during a marathon are hard to explain… you have to live them. Thanks for sharing. And congrats for your PB!!
It's heart warming to see Sarah building up from rookie to a great runner over the years. Gives us all hope that steadily, we can also get better in our running game
I’ve never felt more seen than when Sarah cried after that marathon. I’ve never run a marathon before but anytime I hit a new distance goal that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do in my lifetime, it has been a truly emotional and very personal experience. Many kudos to Sarah. 🙇♀️ 🎉
I’m 17 and have a torn ACL and will undergo surgery in October. I tore my ACL about a year ago playing football/soccer and I haven’t played football since and to keep myself distracted running is a big escape for me. Tomorrow I will run my first ever 10k race (two friends and I will do a Team Triathlon) and watching your videos has really helped me with my running journey and I know most people will be way faster than me but you guys made me realise that it’s just a race against myself and I wanted to thank you for that. Also i guess not many people can say they ran 10k without an ACL (or maybe there are many I don’t really know) what I want to say is everybody has a different story and a different goal. I’m proud of you, you are awesome.
Aw Sarah you are just SO brilliant. Seeing you cry at the end made me blub! You are super relatable and you make us normal runners believe we can achieve amazing things. That’s what you make me believe anyway. I’m running my first ever marathon in Manchester in April. I’ll be channelling your grit, determination and good humour for sure. And I won’t be jet lagged! Bonus!
+100. I hope to be like Sarah in my first marathon. Thanks for showing what tackling a marathon is like for 5+min pace runners. Great work Sarah and team.
Listened to the podcast version of this race on my long run today, now watching the vlog during recovery stretches! I love all of the 'Sarah runs a marathon' videos as I'm a very similar runner and it's so inspiring to see what you can do. I've cried watching every one, so I can only imagine what it's like running them! WELL DONE SARAH!!!
I cried watching this. I just get so emotional every time I see the finish line ♥️ so you’re not alone. And this time I wasn’t even the one running it 😂♥️ well done!
oh shit this is very motivational! I teared up when she did at the end. what an emotional journey! That's an entire race's worth of emotions coming out all at once. that's what it's all about.
That was awesome. Well done Sarah on your PB, whilst filming / talking into the camera and having jet lag. Your commitment to the training programme has been brilliant and very inspiring.
Amazing feat Sarah. I’ve almost finished couch to 5k after barely getting through the first couple of weeks (I was a proper couch potato!) I’m amazed at how far I’ve already come and videos like this are inspiring me to keep going and training to 10K, half marathon and who knows, maybe I’ll be in Osaka one day!
Well done Sarah!! Inspiring 😊 My “why” is that feeling you get when you cross the finish line of any race and proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you ever thought you were!
This video reminded me of my first (and only) marathon. I had zero fun and it was a terrible experience, but months after I saw how it made me stronger in life.
I run marathons because it's what my father did too. And it makes me feel connected to him. It's an awesome feeling to show your children the work and effort needed to do something so challenging.
Amazing! Well done Sarah, this was a beautiful and inspiring video. Excited to see which challenge you will take on next. Perhaps the London ultra 55km in june? (I signed up to that one yesterday) 😅🎉 I am training for London marathon 2023 and hoping to get a nice PB then - under 4 hours would be amazing but i will be happy with anything under 4 32 as this was my last time. I run marathons because I love challenging myself and discovering new things about me, my inner self and my mental strength every time. I struggled with eating disorders for years, until I discovered running. This sport has taught me so much about the person I am, it has helped me learn to appreciate and celebrate my body, instead of harming it. It has helped me cure an awful relationship I had with food, where I hated and feared food, and turn it into a healthy and loving one. If I once had the "Run to eat more" mentality, I now have the complete opposite. Eat to Run more! forever and ever ❤️ Blessings to all the runners - remember to always run happy x x 😊
Well done Sarah and thank you so much. Your speech at the end got me thinking about why do I actually run marathons… it’s because I can. We’re fortunate enough to be able to. And like you said, to find out who you truly are and what you’re capable of. Keep up the great work 👏🏻💪🏼
Well done Sarah, this was AMAZING and you’re genuinely so inspiring! My ‘why’ is that I never thought I could be the kind of person who runs - as a teenager I never felt I belonged in the ‘sporty’ crowd, and I know my younger self would so proud of the limits I’ve pushed myself to as an adult. So I do it for her! Thank you to the running channel for being my constant source of motivation, and for making everyone feel like they belong in this community.
Sarah, this brought back such great memories for me, Japan is amazing! Equally amazing is your ability to not only run a marathon, but to do so whilst presenting an informative, authentic, entertaining, and inspiring video! 03:28 Well done!!
Huge congratulations Sarah. It is great to see your progression over the 10K and marathon blocks. Inspiring me to keep pushing for my half marathon goal for this year 😀
My „why“ is for my health. Running is one of the best ways I relieve stress and stay active for my family. Was both happy and gutted with my 4:13 last year, but definitely going after a sub 4:00:00 this year! I really enjoy following your journey and all of the challenges!!!!
@@theraving90s65 I'd love to go under 4 hours. I'm at 4:11:01 but hoping to improve on that. Still managed a Good for Age for Chicago so looking forward to that as well in Oct.
Incredible run. I am running my first marathon in October and I am doing it to show my kids that you can do anything that you want to when you put your mind to it and are driven to achieve your goals.
Huge kudos. What an amazing race you had. Be super proud. I’ve been running for years. But only ever up to 10k. Now I’m close to hitting 50 I want to tick off the challenges I’ve always feared. I have just done the north lincs half. Next up is Manchester marathon in April. Then onto Amsterdam marathon in October. I have the comrades marathon on my list too. I feel like I’m crazy but totally invested and motivated for what is coming my way. Thankyou for yet another fantastic video.
Congratulations Sarah! I've been following since you ran the Amsterdam marathon and I've been inspired to start running myself. I'll be running my first marathon in London next month! you and Anna especially but the whole Running Channel team have been a huge inspiration to me 🏃♀️
It is amazing to see how fast Sarah has progressed. I am also looking towards sub 03:50, after the Rome marathon last year with 03:57. I definitely have to follow more of the work Sarah has done
I cried with you at the end. I felt like I was there with you. RUnning is hard, and the fact you did that without sleep, is motivating to everyone that makes daily excuses not to run. Thank you for this video.
That was amazing Sarah. I'm so pleased the jet lag didn't outweigh all the training you've been doing and the fact you've done it on a course with hills rather than a nice easy flat course makes it even more impressive 👍
Well done Sarah. I ran the Manchester marathon when I was about 25, think my time was 3:40ish. I am now 65 and have run and trained all the time. Mostly running quarter or half distance. In 2017 I was on a training run and felt really tired. Walk ran home. Out 2 days later, the same, tired. Went to see a cardiologist and found out I have Paroxysmal AF. My left atrium is very large cause because of all the intense training. So I had to slow down, can't run at the paces I used to. It is really frustrating but watching you're guys channel is great. Keep putting the content out. Enjoy the thrill of the run. Andy.
Well done Sarah. That was vivid. In a little over a month I'll be running my 14th marathon. It'll be my first since undergoing surgery on my foot in December 2020 to remove a damaged tendon and reroute another to take its place, as well as breaking and resetting my heelbone to correct the imbalance that caused the issue. I'll be running in Manchester in April to prove that I can still do it, and when I cross the line I know I'll be just as emotional as you were in Osaka, even without the jet lag. The Running Channel has been a precious ally in my rehab. Thank you all!
The 'why' is a marathon is the ultimate feeling of transcendence, putting yourself into an almost meditative state , elevating yourself , there's truly nothing like it.
That was so impressive, Sarah! I totally understand why you cry at the end, and I cried with you too. I love running as well, and I'm actually happy I'm able to run half a maraton. But my ultimate dream is one day to be able to run a full marathon. I am 57 and hope I'm not too old. I'm not very fast but I love longer runs. Thank you for sharing all the great info on this channel, and Sarah, you did such a great job making this video filming, talking and running at the same time. And you ran the marathon sub 3.50 - Congratulation Girl !!
Just wondering, when do I receive shipment of my Mizuno's for services to 'The Running Channel' fandom, and general excellence in commenting and 'LIKE' button clicking? 👍😉 My feet have remained 'un-carbon plated' for too long 💨
Congrats Sarah! I've booked myself to run the Manchester Half Marathon in October but after a few illnesses and injuries over the past few months, I'm back on the horse and started running again! Not the best distances or paces but I've got to start somewhere. One day I'll work my way up to a Marathon!
Running a marathon and vlogging at the same time! I take my hat off for that! Respect. Couple of weeks ago I won a free entry for the Rotterdam Marathon, which was then only 8 weeks later. The feeling of being able to participate was the best, but I am honestly far away from being able to run one at this point. Hopefully I will be in 1 year from now. So for this year the goals are running a faster 5km (check), running a faster 10km (working on it) and next will be a half marathon. We will see how that goes.
Amazing! I am 52, ran 2 marathons (one in December 2022 and 1 last weekend (actually it was an ultra Marathon of 50K) and my times at 4:20 and 4:18 made me happy! I can't believe how well you are doing from 4:27 to 3:49 is wonderful! way to go, great job! I personally run.....because my daughter, 19, is a runner and we get together, we talk about runs etc... and that made us even closer. As a dad it is so great to have a great relation with my kids and this helps us. My daughter Sarah ran 2 marathon: 3:05 and 3:08, she will run the Boston one in 2024 as she qualified during her last marathon. She just ran a 6 hour event: she plugged in 41 miles (65.6 kms) in the same time, i ran...31.53 miles (50kms). She finished 1st female, 3rd overall. we follow this channel all the time. love the contents, love the people! Keep it up Sarahs :)
Well done Sarah! My “why” is because running makes me feel alive. I feel me heart pumping and my lunges working. It’s my me-time to put things into perspective.
done a couple of Ultras, find myself "finding myself" around the 50-60k mark. I have a little cry, and it feels good. Its a cry that comes about because of substantial effort, and it gives me energy - the emotion
Awesome Effort!! Well done! I have my first ever marathon coming up in April, every week now my long runs are a new PB. Getting a little nervous, but just got to believe in the work i'm putting in and run the mile i'm in!
Way to go! Running my first marathon in 2 months, age 59, for 3 of the most amazing ladies in my life who have battled cancer and are on the winning side, my wife, my sister and my mother (x3!)
I'm blubbering at the end. Bless you Sarah. Cudos x I'm doing London in 6 weeks. I've had shin splints, an asthma flare up & then covid last week. Out of 10 weeks I've done 4 weeks training altogether. I'm running for charity that was postponed from 2020 & I can't defer again so I have to do it. My dream of 4.20 is more like 5:20 +. Seeing Sarah, gives me motivation & goose bumps 🤩. What camera is Sarah running with in her hand x
Well Done Sarah!!!! - welled up watching your finish! Great time! Especially considering the jet lag AND running commentary you gave too! 🙌👏 You should be super proud!
Congrats Sarah !!! Nice time. I ran my first marathon last year because I was running constantly for about a year and a friend challenged me to do it. Now I want run other marathons due to many other reasons. I want to keep running until I'm old and I want to tell others (family, friends, especially my daughter) how good it is, how good it makes you feel. I will run my next to improve my marathon time, to challenge and to help others to also do it.
Sarah I don't know how you did this with both jetlag *and* sleep deprivation, AND pulled off a PB!! I commented on another post how I used to work overnights, and switching out of them after 10 days felt a lot like jetlag, in that you feel like if you don't sleep you're going to die. Deathly tired. But the only way out is through. Congrats again!
Also I just finished reading The Way of the Runner by Adharanand Finn, English author who goes to Japan for 6 months and immerses himself in the running culture, and Japan has one of the best attitudes about runners/running in the world! It's great to see this race just after finishing that book
Wow Sarah, well done. Your speach at the end motivated me to run marathon as well. Also want to look back in my 70s-80s and say: "I run at the limit and did eveything I could". Thanks
Brilliant Sarah. Well done. Very inspirational. Especially the sprint finish. I ran my first marathon in New York at 21. I haven’t done one for years but aged 53 want to give it an another go. My reason. To see what I can do properly trained. Thanks for all the top tips.
I totally understand the tears. You poured so much into the training block, you aspired to run a specific pace and give it your all. Never regret a PB, much less a 10 min PB, way to go Sarah. I ran my first marathon last May, I inspired to attempt a BQ time as my A goal and a pace five minutes slower as my B goal. With 5k to go my hamstring cramped up and I had to stop for about a minute. Instead of my vision of negative splitting, I had to slow down a full minute per mile because that’s all I could muster. I missed my B goal by 2mins 20sec. I sobbed, not once, but a couple times as I hobbled a mile back to where I was staying. I had so much to be proud of finishing my first marathon, placing well and managing a respectable 3:17:22 despite the injury. I just needed the time to reflect on it, to process it all, and appreciate the work that was done. Great race Sarah and thank you for taking us on the journey with you.
Very well done, Sarah! I'm running my first marathon in October- I've been plagued with depression for the past umpteen years but I find running helps. So I'm hoping the regular training will boost my mood.
Yep, those tears could well be lack of sleep. They could also be the relief and joy of the PB. I went into Manc Half hoping for a sub-2 and was crying on the home straight squeaking under 1:50; you aren't alone with crying at the line. Not done my first Mara yet (prob next year) but anything sub-4 would be awesome, nevermind sub-3:50. You've smashed that Sarah, esp with the jet lag and the pieces to camera!
Congratulations Sarah! PB!? I'm just pleased to finish. Every year, I would say 'never again ' but I always started the following year. Like an addiction. Nowadays, Parkruns are enough for me. Again ,well done 👏🏻
There is no explaining the feeling of finishing the marathon .. it is a mental sensation that is hard to explain. That mind over matter feeling, is incredible. Well done Sarah !!
Well done Sarah! The “why” for me is the sense of achievement afterwards - not just doing the marathon on the day but the commitment and will power to get through the training schedule in the cold wet and dark months before.
Well done Sarah, have been following your running journey on UA-cam and your outlook and attitude towards running is always an inspiration , looking forward to see what you tackle next.🏅🏃♀️🎉
Inspiring as always! Super effort Sarah...you should be exceptionally proud. And why not...... you never want to get old and say 'I wish I had done....'
Well done ! That was amazing and I would love to be able to get a marathon in the bag. Started running last year and this channel has been a staple for me every week. Thank you for all the useful information!
Ohhh wow!! Tears at the end!! People need to understand the pain.. the training that goes into that one moment. I cried like a baby at the end of my first.
Such a joy to watch you Sarah. I started running at 47 when I got sober. I am way way slower than you (and a lot of people!) I am training for the Brighton Marathon in April…. I love running. It makes me feel alive and I enjoy time on my own. I love following a training plan and probably enjoy the training more than any races if I’m honest. But running is such a gift to me ….I have loved following your journey these past few years ….❤
You’re incredible to be able to run a marathon, let alone holding a camera and talking. Love your honesty. I’ve now run 6 half marathons (never thought it was possible). I’m now aiming to complete a marathon. Anything is possible. Thanks for the inspiration video 👌
Well done Sarah! I'm running London this year, with a charity spot of course because the ballot seems more difficult to win than the lottery!, and it's because of the TV. Sounds odd, but I religiously watched the London Marathon and always thought WOW, it's amazing that people can do this. I was very heavy, unfit, and had never been a runner, but all those marathon runners inspired me. Couch to 5k was my catalyst, then parkrun, and on my journey I learned just how amazing the running community is for helping you to achieve your goals whilst never judging you. Now I've run lots of 10k, and 12k races, a few half marathons, and I ran Chester Marathon in 2021. I think in my subconscious London Marathon has always been a bucketlist run for me, and so far my training is going well (10k PB yesterday - whoolp!), and on the afternoon of April the 23rd I'll be celebrating my new shiny medal with a well earned beer. Well done Sarah, you and everyone at the Running Channel are fantastic inspirations. Thanks!
Good luck with London! Maybe we'll see you there 😁 That's an incredible journey you've been on, and some amazing achievements! Thank you for all of your support?
Well done Sarah. 👏👍 Marathon has been on my bucket list for the past 4 years. I got injured in each build up including metatarsal stress fracture, calf tear and Achilles tendinitis. I haven’t given up though. I’ve done a number of half marathons since and I’m going to have another go later this year. Wish me luck. 😊
Incredible on little sleep and jet lag should be proud of yourself, I always cry seeing other people's emotions at finish lines that's where you can see how much it means to them, even more than they probably realise themselves at times ,hope you've managed to catch up on some sleep x
I run short (10km) and I run long (90km). But any race distance I do is something I have achieved alone and can be personally proud of. There’s honesty in getting the results for the work that only you have put in.
What's your "why" for running a marathon? 👇

To prove to myself I can. It's a love/hate battle with your mind and body!
@@PuzaTG85 53kg is incredible! I thought I'd done well with 15-18. Keep it up sir!

Respect, Sarah: Running a PB while doing all the filming, talking, giving advice and product presentation - that’s a remarkable feat. Congratulations!
Thanks for your support!
Exactly what I thought. Managing to speak at the end was impressive. I clicked on the thumbs down icon by mistake and I'm just sitting on the sofa! Hopefully clicking on the thumbs up icon rectified that.

Spoilers!!!
"I don't know why I always cry at the end." We get it. Awesome run, well done!
I don't know why Sarah always has to make me cry at the end, lol.
I honestly don't know how you can run this pace and still keep filming yourself chatting to us. Honestly so impressive!

Thanks Wayne!!

7 marathons and I've cried after each one. Great job, Sara!! 💪🏃♀️
Yes Hannah! Proving what we can achieve is so incredible.
Sarah, fyi, you're inspiring me more to run my 1st marathon, ideally this year. You make it feel so possible.
OMEDETOU GOZAIMASU!!!
This video reminded me of my first (and only) marathon. I had zero fun and it was a terrible experience, but months after I saw how it made me stronger in life.
Slay Sarah!! I’m running my first half marathon in May and I rely on videos like these on the days when I’m in need of some major inspo.
I run marathons because it's what my father did too. And it makes me feel connected to him. It's an awesome feeling to show your children the work and effort needed to do something so challenging.
Thanks
Well done Sarah - I think we all felt those tears at the end, you're amazing!
Well done! I'm always impressed by folks running steadily and still able to look at the camera and narrate.
Amazing! Well done Sarah, this was a beautiful and inspiring video. Excited to see which challenge you will take on next. Perhaps the London ultra 55km in june? (I signed up to that one yesterday) 😅🎉
I am training for London marathon 2023 and hoping to get a nice PB then - under 4 hours would be amazing but i will be happy with anything under 4 32 as this was my last time.
Eat to Run more! forever and ever ❤️
Blessings to all the runners - remember to always run happy x x 😊
I just did my first 40k and under 2:45 but was doing on xc skis and I am excited to start running again this summer
Inspiring me to keep pushing for my half marathon goal for this year 😀
Thank you so much!
We were crying with you Sarah! Such an incredible journey you’ve had and what a finish 🎉🎉🎉😊 A massive congratulations on your PB!
My „why“ is for my health. Running is one of the best ways I relieve stress and stay active for my family. Was both happy and gutted with my 4:13 last year, but definitely going after a sub 4:00:00 this year! I really enjoy following your journey and all of the challenges!!!!
Good luck. Hope you make it happen.
Yeah good luck are u running London?
@@theraving90s65 yes. It's my 7th marathon but 1st London
I’m running London aswell gonna hook up with the 4:00 pacers and hope for the best. Good luck to you
@@theraving90s65 I'd love to go under 4 hours. I'm at 4:11:01 but hoping to improve on that. Still managed a Good for Age for Chicago so looking forward to that as well in Oct.
I just came back from a really hard track workout and it is merly impossible for me not to start crying.
Sarah, you are a heroe!!
Incredible run. I am running my first marathon in October and I am doing it to show my kids that you can do anything that you want to when you put your mind to it and are driven to achieve your goals.
I have my first marathon in May and videos like this pump me up! I love watching your running journey❤
Well done Sarah! Filming and running sub 4 hours is insane!. Going for Paris in a month but cannot imagine doing it filming!
Fingers crossed!
Thanks Matt! Have you got any races coming up this year?
Andy.
Your narration while running a marathon is epic, way to go ❤
Well done Sarah! It’s a talent to run and produce top-tier content at the same time ❤
Well done Sarah.
Congratulations on your new PB🎉🎉🎉🎉
Preparing to run my first half marathon in the end of the year and seeing this kinds of videos are helping me to stay motivated! 🎉
Wow, did you just say that??! 🤣
Epic video Sarah, well done and congratulations on the PB
You are an inspiration Sarah. I am running my first marathon in April this year at 61. After watching this I can’t wait.
Good luck! 😁 How is your training going?
@@runningchannel so far so good.....only 3 weeks to the taper.....
In March I will do my first marathon. Sometimes I nearly tear up just thinking about finishing. Own the tears I would say, they are well deserved.
Well done Sarah, just signed up for my second half-marathon having just finished my first, all because of your video. Thank you.
But running is such a gift to me ….I have loved following your journey these past few years ….❤
Well done! I actually really liked the little tips in this video and will def try to use then during my next race.
Marathon has been on my bucket list for the past 4 years. I got injured in each build up including metatarsal stress fracture, calf tear and Achilles tendinitis. I haven’t given up though. I’ve done a number of half marathons since and I’m going to have another go later this year. Wish me luck. 😊
Well done!! You are doing so well with all these crazy challenges. I love watching the videos with Sarah and Anna!
Incredible on little sleep and jet lag should be proud of yourself, I always cry seeing other people's emotions at finish lines that's where you can see how much it means to them, even more than they probably realise themselves at times ,hope you've managed to catch up on some sleep x
Amazing achievement Sarah! Well done🎉 ! I’ve only done a few halves so far, but I’m in! I’m in for the full!! Way to go!! 🙌👏👏👏
I run short (10km) and I run long (90km). But any race distance I do is something I have achieved alone and can be personally proud of. There’s honesty in getting the results for the work that only you have put in.
Fantastic Sarah 👏 👏 👏
I love your words "Run a marathon and you will find out who you are". I know that feeling well.
