Elisa I also love the jacket on your model
The look of that garment is so sophisticated, no one will ever guess that it is handmade! Congratulations 💡✂️
Thank you so much for such a kind comment, I love this top - have been wearing it loads! :)
Such a cute top!
You're amazing! This is darling! I love how you reused fabric from past garments! I'll bet your little girl's future outfit will be so pretty with those gold polka dots!
Tammy, hello there! I am excited too, would be perfect for Christmas time or maybe Halloween! I loved that top when I was pregnant but it got so stretched out, so a second life for it is a good solution! :)
It turned out beautifully and i love how you refashioned and reused something else. Thank you for another awesome video.
This Top turned out so terrific! You are such an inspiration, thank you for sharing all the details.
Thank you so much and I hope it inspires you to make something fun for yourself as well! :)
What a cute top! Once again that was a really fun video of a project that I’d definitely like to try.
I just saw an ADORABLE variation to this shirt! Take the front bottom pattern piece and move it an inch or two away from the fold when cutting, then gather it back to fit the size of the top piece. This makes super cute gathers across the bosom and would also be a really useful variation for anyone with an extra-generous bust.
Back lower pattern piece may also be adjusted instead of, or in addition to the front. Adjusting both might be a useful adjustment for pregnancy as well, giving room to grow.
A beautiful make Alissa. I can’t remember if I’ve ever see you do your particular method for knit neckband. Would make for a great individual tutorial.
Kristi, I haven't yet... but that's really what it is -I just eye ball it ;) I will see if I can make a video on this to make it easier for the viewers! Thank you!
Thank u for sharing love ur videos
Just found this sit. Love the easy way you explain things. I will give this a go. Thank you
clever, creative, utterly inspiring.....BRILLIANT! thanks so much xx
That's lovely Alisa. Thankyou very much indeed. Loads of useful tips too. Who knew that looking at the neckline upside down would help us to spot errors? Stay safe 😀
Patricia, hi! I actually learned this trick from drawing - it has to do with how our eye and brain perceives what you just drew, and in this case - a neckline. Thank you for watching, love seeing you in the comments!
Excellent job ! You are so talented and resourceful with the use of fabric for yet another top! And a baby dress to come. I am sure it will look fantastic on your little one. Thank you for this video. I am encouraged
Very practical and useful!!! Thanks a lot.
Glad it was helpful, Angelita! So many more fun videos like this to come :)
Oh I love how your top turned out! I have a scant yard of a cool Ankara stretch knit that I’ve been trying to figure out how to use. I know I want to make a dress with it. I’ll probably do a similar colour block with plain black on top. Thanks for the video:)
Rikki, hello! So great to see you here! Yes, that would look so cool, and break up the print too! I love prints, but sometimes there can be a lot of the print and this could do the trick! Looking forward to seeing your creation on IG! :)
Lovely. Ann from Va.
I just love your subjects and inspiration! Thank you !🌟🙋🏻♀️🤗
Thank you so much! More fun DIY videos next week!

I love this top. Great job!
Thank you! 😊
good looking top, beautifully explained!
Thank you so much, glad it was useful!
Could you advise us on how to calculate the amount of fabric required depending on different width fabrics.
Please can u tell the formula of armhole ?? Plus please also do shein dress pattern making
Kripa, hi! You just have to go to the first video of this series - find it in the infobox - that tutorial explains you the armhole ;)
Which cloth it is?
I don’t know where to contact you, but I can’t see anything that you send me for my membership. I use IPad Pro
She is very good in explaining how to make a pattern...but she talks way soooooo fast that makes it difficult to get every detail. Would be great if she can talk moderately to be able to understand her better.
