I found this video very interesting. I haven't done pattern drafting but you made it look do-able. Good way to use up smaller pieces of similar weight fabric. Great video. Good job!
Thanks for this. How do you finish your seams? I would be afraid that the drape (especially in knits) would be effected. Do you have a similar video about 'colour' blocking a striped pattern to make it multi directional?
Another reason for color blocking is to make a garment that makes you look thinner and create illusion of curves when you want them and hide where you don't want them.
