This man was truly a jurist and intellectual. I remember visiting a masjid with a huge book area, 90% of the books I picked up to look at was ibn uthaymeen’s. And if you can’t benefit from his books then his classes are recorded and uploaded. رحمه الله

And shykh Abul Azees Al Rajhi was asked- Is there an ijma of ahlussunnah that Ruling by Other than what Allah revealed Kufrun Duna Kufr? He answered- It is the ijma’ of the Murjia’, not Ahlussunnah.. and if you are bringing Ibnu Abbas رضي الله عنه here: then he was not talking about تشريع العام or استبدال, And Abdullah Al Ghunayman clearly asking to the students who asked him about the ayah which Allah says “THEY ARE KAAFIROON”: Allah is telling us from the heavens that “THEY ARE KAAFIROON” and are we saying “NO, THEY ARE NOT”? its impossible. And then he explains what is KUFRUN DUNA KUFR.
Whether one makes individual takfeer or not! If a muslim says that the حكم عام of the ayah is KUFRUN DUNA KUFR, then he is wrong, and he must seek the TRUTH. بارك الله فيك

What does Shar' and Mas'alah mean if someone could translate inshAllah
Shar' means explanation of a verse hadith or ruling in islam.
Mas'alah means an issue that you take to a scholar so he can figure it out for you.
Shar’ means legislation linguistically and here is referring to the Quran and Sunnah and mas’alah summarised means issue
