I had a 96 that was a darker red. It looked so much like yours that I'm getting sad watching this. It waltzed to the right and I spent too much money fiddling with the steering configuration and suspension. I finally found that the sucker was wrecked and the frame was bent. Sadly I tried to fix an issue with its engine running a little rough by spraying Seafoam into the throttle body. This gunned the motor so much it blew a valve. I was fool enough to buy another Ranger versus just making do with the 96 and getting the engine fixed. Live and learn.

Looks like the 4.0l OHV not the SOHC. DO NOT use the red thread locker on that, it requires heat to remove. The blue is plenty.

I think your temp. gauge is probably working. Rangers run real cold. I have a ‘94 4.0 and the hottest I’ve seen it run was around the N in ‘Normal’

Like most viewers, there's an element of voyeurism, but more specifically, living vicariously through you. I would love to be doing what you are doing because those are nice reliable vehicles. That is, when roadworthy. You're obviously doing what it takes to get it there.
As you were working on the driver's window regulator, I couldn't help but to begin thinking of a budget(if I were in your position ) and keeping expenses to a minimum at this time to buying only the " essentials ".
So with the door panel off for access, as you worked on the window regulator, I thought some new speakers for a stereo would be or could've been considered a necessity. Huh ?
Aside from engine components that are needed and miscellaneous like brakes, wiper blades, etc. ,some trim like door handles, antenna.,......stereo ? ...,.door/ windo insulation and so on .
No criticism, I'm just thinking what I'd do. Not much different from your process.
This is what is so strange about being a viewer of videos like yours, I bet there is a lot of comments with recommendations and the like from most viewers, and I suppose that these are all natural correspondences and go along with being a blogger/uploader.
    Thanks for the video.

I have a goal to be able to increase the budget on each project as I go along. A stereo and speakers are definitely in that goal!

I have a '93 4.0 XLT 4X4 extended cab. I've had it for 20yrs and it has 255k miles on original drive train (trans rebuilt at 245k). The difficulty with the '93 is it's a 1 yr model and last yr of OBD1. Parts are still readily available and it's fairly easy to work on.
