About that internal battery... there's a tiny, small-print, unlabeled warning some way down the package insert that states that the Aira Compact devices should not be charged from any "fast charging" port (read: higher than 5V). This is not a suggestion! It's a VERY important rule. I didn't RTFM and as a result I fried my E-4. Take note and don't charge these units from regular wall-wart multi adapters. Power bricks and PC/Mac/laptop only. Unless you like tears.
I highly recommend the tc helicon voice live 2. It’s way inexpensive at about 300 compared to the 3 at 800, both are worth every dime but the difference in cost, I think depends on if you all ready have a GT 1000 or something of that nature. In my case I do and don’t need more standard guitar effects. The live 2 has every acoustic model processing you’d ever need and the vocals are top notch with midi!
I have both and neither of them get much use. I was able to get a few tracks from the PO, but I haven’t used it much since I got the po KO. I got the e-4 to compensate for my lack of singing talent, but unfortunately it can pitch correct, but it can’t make miracles happen 😅.
Hey... what video recorder you use? Do you use line-in? Can you see/monitor audio levels with it? I'm looking into getting just a video rec with line-in for short noise skits for Instagram... had the Zoom Q2n 4k but that thing was trash. Sent it back and now I'm stumped
I do separate audio and video, and then combine and edit them in Adobe Premiere Pro. I use a Panasonic camera for video, and for audio I use the Zoom Livetrak L-12.
Thanks I know there different devices just wondering what would be better to add goofy audio one shots to my music . maybe e4 would be better compared to the vocal effect of the mpc suit they added. the auto tune sounded good on e4 though
A good comparison of two unrelated devices. Nice to hear them together though, so the video was pretty good, the request was just a bit weird.
Thanks for watching!

Have the 33 , considering e4, and enjoyed the info, thanks as always!
also Roland VT4 has more vocal control (though not a scatter) many examples on my channel. Let's hope TE makes a Speak 2 soon!

I'll have to check it out, thanks!
Just picked up the PO35, looking to add vocals to my compositions, but I think you’ve convinced me that an E4 is the next purchase :)
The E-4 is fantastic. Sequence the notes and chords you want to sing, send the midi data to the unit and you're set. Clearest vocoder I've come across
They're both awesome!

Both together would sound interesting 👌
That'll happen soon!
Sounds great!

Haha try using the E-4 with external MIDI input and the Vocoder active, you can get some super cool sounds that can still spit out lyrics!
Good prepper. Now, use them together next time! 😁👍😎
That's definitely going to happen :)
My PO-35's old first creation: ua-cam.com/video/03-QhL9jfzE/v-deo.html
Nice!
I'm waiting for the E4 to go on sale. Do you think the older voice modeller VT-4 compares to the E4?
I've never used the VT-4, so I'm not sure, sorry!

Yeah the E-4 is definitely more comparable to the MPC's new(ish) vocal suite effects. Thanks for watching!
