    Really well done. Keep us updated on any revisions, things that worked/didn't, etc.

      Thanks much appreciated and will do! So far it’s been a blast. Already planning a phase 2 addition to add another section onto the table.

    the One thing I dislike on nearly every builde I've seen is the use of plastercloth on them.
    Why not use concret??? It's way more durable! and cheaper to. But it takes longer to cure/harden.

    • @MadGreekOff-Road
      @MadGreekOff-Road  9 місяців тому +1

      That’s a great question and for me it’s simple. I chose the plastercloth so down the line it’s easier to move the table if needed it won’t be so heavy as well as if I ever wanted to change certain sections of the table either add new features or tear down old features and add new ones it makes it super easy with the cloth.

      @@MadGreekOff-Road i am building a portable course as well. Concrete is so much stronger that you can apply it thinner, this makes it lighter that plaster.
      You can easily ad on.
      But you are right, taking down parts of it is a lot harder.

      @MadGreekOff-Road  9 місяців тому

      Yea I guess in thin layers concrete wouldn’t be that heavy and I can certainly see the pros and cons of both. I’m already mapping out areas on the table in this video I’m going to add new features onto as well as rip up a small section and re-do it. These things are addicting. Fun way to enjoy some time with my family when we are not in my full size rig.

      It’s a good time for sure! Makes me feeling like I’m out wheeling the big Jeep when I can’t actually get out to wheel the big Jeep LOL and the kiddos are all about it!

    Those 5/30 wheelers are usually the beer drinkers. They always bored me to tears. You can shoot the breeze while waiting your turn on the next obstacle in my opinion

    What did you make the gravel pit out of? They almost looked like coffee beans!
    Looks great!

      LOL coffee beans would have been interesting. Can you imagine the smell in my basement. I’d be wheeling and wanting coffee hahah.

      They are LGRP Swamp Kings. They are a cool tire indeed and very grippy.

    Looks awesome! How big is the base? I’m thinking about building a course and I’m wondering if I can pull something like this off on a 3x4 table 😂

    • @MadGreekOff-Road
      @MadGreekOff-Road  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks appreciate it. Base is 7’x4’ so yours wouldn’t be exactly the same as what I have but a buddy of mine has a 4’x4’ table and it’s awesome. His you can walk around fully. He has a big mountain in the middle with different challenging lines all around going up to the top and then lower lever obstacles around the outside. Anyways good luck with your build and remember if you don’t like something you can always change it up 😉👍🏼

    Awesome course man.What did you use to get the rough texture on all of the rocks?

    • @MadGreekOff-Road
      @MadGreekOff-Road  10 місяців тому

      Thanks appreciate it! It’s a mixture of play sand and paint. Mixed roughly 1/3 sand to 2/3 paint and then applied it on with a brush.

    Looks great however it would be great to see a shot of the full build instead of just closeup. That way you provide others with ideas. Just seeing shots of portions it’s hard to realize what the course actually looks like.

      Nice. I like the s5 tires they are pretty grippy. Run them on 2 different rigs. Also a fan of the LGRP swamp kings.
