I love how Wilfred and Donna basically switch roles in "The End of Time". Like Wilfred becomes the companion for this 2-parter while Donna has lesser screen time.
@@AndrewChapman I like how that even though future doctors and companions are in episodes as different characters before their main roles, Wilfred has always been standing watch as Wilfred.
It's long been my opinion that in "The Waters of Mars" when for that short time the Doctor became The Timelord Victorious he actually became the Valeyard.
Well, actually, I think you'll find that The End of Time Part Two was first broadcast on January 1st 2010; therefore should not be featured in this compilation 🤓
I know lots of people don't like Planet of the Dead and I can get why, but as an escapist out of the box ep I like it - the Doctor and Christina's chemistry is great, and the creature of the week isn’t too unpalatable
waters of Mars was brilliant how first half was about the doctor struggle to go and not save the crew on Bowie base 1 , then last part he saves the remaining crew , changes history and becomes out of control
Series 4 was the best series in Doctor Who history. David Tennant was the BEST actor to play Doctor Who and I was devestated when he regenerated but Matt Smith did a great job. He had the best companions like Donna, Rose, Martha and who could forget the great Wilfred Mott. I will forever love his time as The Doctor.
@@charleslord2433 That would've been interesting. Plus I think Michelle Ryan's acting was a bit better here compared to her role as Zoe Slater in EastEnders.
Aww thanks for Like Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi and Christopher Eccleston and Tom Baker as The Doctors aww thanks for agree with you on me it is Everyone Opinion❤❤
@AshishChacko-v5m I liked CE, DT, MS, and PC. I liked all 4 of the new doctors. I liked what Jodie was doing, but I feel the writers did not give her a chance. Did not see the return of DT as 14 nor anything concerning 15. I am not paying to see DW. I started seeing classic DW on Pluto and have to say that Tom Baker is not bad.
Capt Brooke's final scene is one of the most poignant Doctor Who moments in the series' run. The Doctor learns in the hardest way possible that playing god isn't being god. Cheers....
Probably cuz it was Tennant's last regular episode as 10th and probably intend the 2010 EDITION video to show just 11th clips. Plus End of Time 2 was filmed in 2009 along with the other 2009 specials despite airing on New Year's Day 2010.
My heart is full of emotion💦 I really loved Donna and her family❤ This time David and Bernard’s scene was really moving❤ I really miss Wilfred as Bernard so much❤
@@DalekCaanOfSkaro it’s not. Most people believe that the Golden Era of Doctor Who ended when Moffat took over. The episodes were more criticised and the viewing figures were dropping

This is probably the most emotional doctor he has alot of emotional moments throughout his time
Have you not seen Ncuti Gatwa??
@@tracyroweauthorthat is exactly what I came here to write.
Even though it's not on here, love the moment near the end of Planet of the Dead "I'll just step inside this police box and arrest myself."😄
What's really funny is the actor who played the policeman was a good friend of David Tennant's as revealed in DT's Video Diaries
Like a yesterday. Good memoirs. David Tennant definitely the best doctor for me.
That is you opinion Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi and Christopher Eccleston and Tom Baker are 4 of the best Doctors❤❤
The other names you mentioned are only valid for England. But David Tennant brought the series to an international quality.
"I don't wanna go." The best line of the 10th doctor 😢

It’s not an opinion. It’s simply fact.

I enjoy it too. Plus it makes a change to see the Doctor hang out with a one time companion instead of regular companions all the time.
Cried again
Yup, we all did 😭😭
waters of Mars was brilliant how first half was about the doctor struggle to go and not save the crew on Bowie base 1 , then last part he saves the remaining crew , changes history and becomes out of control

Although Tennant isn't my favourite Doctor, he was the Doctor when I got hooked on the show. And Series 4 was the first new series I saw.
I wished she would have been a companion.
Did not the Doctor say in an earlier clip (with Wilf) that he couldn't go back in his own timeline - yet he does at the end to see Rose.
That was her timeliine, he hadn't met Rose (as the 9th) yet.
I really wish they could have made the Lady Christina spin-off. She would have been great!
They have.
I was referring to TV not Big Finish

there's a chunk of the first special missing
No, the first 2009 special is heavily represented here.
@@DrWhoFanJ it seems that each special is heavily edited and it skips major chunks of the story.

Yeah, 10's speech before sacrificing himself to save Wilfred is definitely a highlight for me.
i only now notice how the doctor calls ampizza place and they literally say Geronimo easter egg to matt smith daum they are good
I wish it were 2009 again.
Dr Who used to be so good and epic, Planet of Dead is fantastic
_Doctor Who_ is still good and epic. _Planet of the* Dead_ is indeed fantastic.
