I wonder why Joo Se Hyuk couldn't repeat the same sucess as he did last year. I know he's got Behcet's Disease, but he is really in full form. Although I know, last year, Joo had a 7-set thriller match with Timo Boll, and the final set was a close score.
Boll had a lot of practice against defenders in the meantime and beat some other very good defenders shortly before easily. Boll was talking about this match and his tactics in his interview here: watch?v=0oAjubItjvs (starting at minute 5 or so) I´ve read in an article that Joo´s disease does not effect his game til now. I hope it´s true and wish him well. In my opinion Joo did not play bad at all. But Boll was very strong, no mistakes, varying spin, keeping Joo under pressure... greetings e
ITTF Cameras are getting worse and worse... You'd think that being a world-wide company, they'd have better quality video... But no The quality of US players' videos are better than this... And table tennis isn't as serious here as it is on the world stage!
