i've never seen nako cry until this video. it made me realize that just like sakura is one of the longest standing veteran idols, nako was right there with her as well, and has her own story she carries
Hi guy's i don't want you to get the wrong impression . This was nako first few years in HKT. she was 12 or 13. in 2018 she ranked 9th in AKB48 general elections which have over 100 girls competing and also consider one of the aces of HKT. link to the documentary if anyone interested in the description box .
I really love Nako's personality , she always make me smile when I'm sad and that have no price for me. I wish the world have more people like her, humble, intelligent, very talented and cute! I wish i could tell her this.

let me explain to you guys, it wasn’t that the fans ignored her on purpose or anything. i love nako but i think some of the new fans here are misunderstanding the situation
1. complaining about her being center: what happens in 48g is basically a fan’s efforts are in exchange for a member’s push. if fans spend more money buying their handshake tickets and election tickets, management will take that as a call to push that particular member. of course, there are many exceptions but fans expect something in return from the management when they put in their effort to support a member. from the fans’ point of view, they’ve probably spent a lot of time and effort on the 1st/2nd generation members they like, and when a new hkt song is announced, of course they’d want someone they like to take the center spot. however, this spot was given to nako. it’s not that she was undeserving, but i felt like it was more of the fault of the management. nako was only 12 at that time, yet management did such a move to push her when she was just new. (back then she hasn’t even debuted for a month)
2. no one congratulating her on her promotion: for those who are confused, she means no one came to her handshake lane to congratulate her on her promotion (from an understudy to member). how handshakes work is that fans need to ballot for a member’s ticket months in advance. it is not rare for a member to not sell any slots. in fact, there can be more than 80% of the members who remain at 0 slots sold even after 7-10 rounds of sales. that doesn’t mean that they don’t get any fans at the event. fans can use a different type of ticket to shake hands with those they did not “ballot in advance for”. however, as nako was not known within the group, no one used those tickets to go to her lane. these tickets are bought by the fans (unlike kpop fansigns, where you get a slot for the entire group and talk to all the members) to visit specific members they want to.

actually the part where she said no one came to congratulate her, was Nako wondering why the members didn't congratulate her, but Sashii explained it her. And also the girl next to Nako in the handshake lane is Mikurin who had a lot of people.

I recommend all of you to watch the whole documentary for getting a bigger and better context of this video. There's some missing narration from this video, which made the video not 100% accurate.
1. Yes, Nako was introduced in wink wa sankai (2013), but the crying part is happened long after that. At that point nako and miku has been a regular senbatsu of hkt. The crying part was taken from nako's 14 birthday/seitansai speech in 2015, more than a year after wink wa sankai. In the documentary nako tell the reason why she is crying, it is because she feels that there are many members that working harder than her, that suits more for the senbatsu.
2. The empty handshake lane was not meant to show that Nako is totally hated by fans, and it's also not taken from their first time in HKT, the clip was taken (again) when Nako Miku (these two can't be separated in HKT) has been a regular senbatsu member. The clip was actually meant to explain how Miku is surpassing Nako at that time in term of popularity. Miku 's lane is beside her in the right. Nako's line is not entirely empty ofc it is just Miku has more people come to her handshake lane. That's it. After the empty handshake lane clip nako is (again) crying in front of Sasshi, saying she want to say sorry for everyone.
3. 14-15 years old Nako in the documentary was so vulnerable and insecure, that's why you will see her crying a couple time in the documentary. Anyone get the position by the push from management will get a big burden in her shoulder, its not just Nako, Miku also get that burden. But the thing is Nako still can't cope with that burden and hate coming along with the spotlight she get at that time. Nako is not totally hated as maybe some of you think, she just get some haters as everyone in this industry has.

Well, she got to prove critics wrong and rose up to 9th place in Senbatsu 2018!!! And she also won in PD48 and joined Izone. Nako is still small physically, lol, but she is a bigger star now in Japan and Korea! Miku Chan is waiting for her back in Hkt48 but Sakura is with her now like they have been for years.

MOOΠ they didn’t hate it, at the time she was a new girl; they didn’t just knew her well yet. Remember that 48G has over 600 girls. You must understand that she got a few fans over the years but in the beginning it was hard. Also the scene with the empty handshake line is was recent (by the time the documentary was released) and only highlighted that Miku had grown in terms of popularity. She did have fans going and cheering for her, but we didn’t really knew how they felt until she said it during her bday stage (when she apologizes) since then her fanbase grew a lot!

her handshake doesn't sell out very much until very recently only half or 3/4 of her line is filled, not because she isn't popular but when u have other very popular members (sakura for example) and u have to choose only one to go to unfortunately it's hard .
