Spudski RC How To: Throttle Calibration for Traxxas Transmitters To The ESC

- This is a video how to calibrate the throttle on the transmitter to the ESC for a Traxxas electric model.
The car in the video is a Rustler VXL but is the same procedure for the other VXL and XL5 models.
My kids screwed up my Maxx and it went forward when I pulled the trigger and when I tried to go in reverse. Had no idea what was going on but this fixed it! Thanks.
Thank you it worked better than the Traxxas video
Great job thanks for sharing I always forget when mine looses its mind
My esc isn’t blinking twice during that process and it’s new
You a real one G
Hey man when mine goes to red a second later it will go back to blinking green
Mine shuts off again and loose throttle it works longer though but I loose it
Does this calibrate the TSM automatically too?
Never blinks 5 second blink and turns off
same problem here
Thank you🙏🙏
What if that did not work
a quick question if you don't mind hey how can I make my reverse slower? I want the throttle to stay the same but my reverse for me anyway is far too fast it's crazy fast. I can adjust the brakes there perfect but the reverse speed is just too powerful. I have the link system I can't figure out how to do it
As far as I’m aware it’s just the settings in the app. You can dip the power putting it in training mode but of course that changes forward power too.
@@spudskirc4458 thanks I looked at that and tried boosting forward throttle wile leaving reverse the way it was at 50% but it can't be changed… Looks like I'm stuck with a car that has so much power going in reverse I don't really want it like that… But thanks
My instead of flashing, it just goes solid green but i still dont get no throttle respond
@@alfredocanto9901 Have you check to see if your channel 2 is working? Trying putting the servo in channel 2 and esc in channel 1 and see what happens.

My wheels turn real slow like its struggling to go
Mine turns red instead of green
@@codycarpenter1672 If it goes red after calibration that just means it’s in nimh mode rather than lipo.
@ thank you
After it flashes once it doesn’t flash again
Ya
On my esc it has a switch not a button
What brand ?
@@XDCRYHARD generic
@@XDCRYHARD maybe u can help my.car dont wanna move the back wheels turn but not fast
@@leonjohnsonjr3331 sounds like a calibration issue, try re calibrating the ecs and see if it will work if not that might be the transmiter.
