  • This is a video how to calibrate the throttle on the transmitter to the ESC for a Traxxas electric model.
The car in the video is a Rustler VXL but is the same procedure for the other VXL and XL5 models.

My kids screwed up my Maxx and it went forward when I pulled the trigger and when I tried to go in reverse. Had no idea what was going on but this fixed it! Thanks.

a quick question if you don't mind hey how can I make my reverse slower? I want the throttle to stay the same but my reverse for me anyway is far too fast it's crazy fast. I can adjust the brakes there perfect but the reverse speed is just too powerful. I have the link system I can't figure out how to do it

As far as I’m aware it’s just the settings in the app. You can dip the power putting it in training mode but of course that changes forward power too.

@@spudskirc4458 thanks I looked at that and tried boosting forward throttle wile leaving reverse the way it was at 50% but it can't be changed… Looks like I'm stuck with a car that has so much power going in reverse I don't really want it like that… But thanks

@@leonjohnsonjr3331 sounds like a calibration issue, try re calibrating the ecs and see if it will work if not that might be the transmiter.
