My Dream Filipino Tiny House 🇵🇭 - Fixing Mistakes and Leaks Everywhere
Вставка

- There's a light at the end of the tunnel as the new crew gets together and hit the ground running to undo the shortcomings of the previous crew. Leaks are so annoying but they can get scary when electricity is involved. But overall I'm super happy we're seeing real progress!

Shout out to the companies in Siargao, pick yourselves Together, Be proud of your Work! You are making making your own Business bad..
that's good Sir you remove nipa, you can use nipa only without ceiling so that it is easy to see the leak and easy to replace.
Tal put fishnet to your nipa roof to protect strong wind❤
Don’t get stressed out Tal everything get fixed I know is not easy but everything gonna be alright!By the way I’m Dani I’m from New Jersey soon I’m going back home and I’m retiring okay god bless
Surround your property with lemongrass, lavender , basil to keep mosquitos at bay
My wife and brother inlaw had the same issues when they rebuilt their parents house in Bicol. Critical to have a good engineer and foreman to ensure workers are doing things correctly.
Just use galvanozed roof rather than nipa for long term purpose
Can't wait to see the tiny house when it's finished I building a two bedroom place in iloilo
Hope the new crew is better than the previous one..
😢😢😢 i wish you have your family with you there to share your stress and anxiety.
The water pump still needs a separate water reservoir unless if you have a steady community water supply. Please ask someone before installation of your new machine.
👍😎🤿🇵🇭! You are getting there!
Slowly but surley
It's good that you hired someone with electric chainsaw, it's much faster to cut those trees. A filipina subscriber (travelling clat- then buhay ni tal), watched this video without skipping ads
Use mondo sealer on roof nails, cracks, walls .I used it its water paint sealer.
OMG. 😮 hope you are doing well. Tal. Good luck with your project and stay safe and stay healthy. 🇮🇱 🇵🇭 🤙🙏☮️🌈🏝️
Thank you!
Would you consider put angular to replace your nipa to galvanize roof. And if you wanna an island vibe you can put your nipa above your galvanized roof. Well im just asking if you would like😊
Hi. Hope you're doing great. I watched your video because I am always interested in tiny houses especially the process of how it's done. But I stopped watching before it ends because I have this eye problem that made me dizzy and have headache when I watch videos with too much movements. Hoping for more updates of the progress of your beautiful tiny house
Bro! I salute you coz you never give up on your dream!why not just come back here in usa?
You can make use of the coco lumber when you make your nipa hut or gazebo or dirty kitchen. Allow the grass to expand or crawl. A little patience is needed. The nipa roofing may not be salvageable unless you’ll use them in your chicken house.

You can save the nipa for your next house build , like a guesthouse for family and friends
שלום תל😊בוקר טוב!
Can I visit you when you finish your house in the Philippines?😉😊🙂
Watching your travelvlogs from Israel!🩵🇮🇱
Hope to see you in person when you come to Israel.❤יום טוב
שבת שלום🙏🩵🇮🇱
Sure! That would be wonderful
@@buhaynital היי תל 😊 תודה רבה..🙏🩵
Great job 👍🙏
Tal, you probably need to scrap the roof and replace it before you do anything else. Rainy season is coming up man so you need to do first thing first.
So proud of you Tal…. In the near future , you can fully chill and appreciate your beautiful and comfortable house…. Enjoy life and everything that comes along with it…. You are blessed!!! SHALOM!
I know we will get there
U need to luck it or u need to return it back to them u need to tell the contractor to fix it good its good that u have your own house u can go anywhere and back to siargao
Well done to Sir Nico❤
Sorry about the bad works on your house.
so sad clatt mew build house but leakage but will fix it😥👍💪🙏
Are you going to install solar panels? Eight Miles from Home channel also living in siargao have gone completely solar. I hope you connect with them also Swedish couple Johan & Emy in the Philippines channel. Shame JayOrCruise channel left
wish you could've chosen CUBO, makers or pre-made tiny house. 8 Miles from Home is going with that.
None were available at the time!
Some lessons learned here since we're also having work done to finish our house now.
We gotta try to finish it
@@buhaynital Yeah, two years on and off and 3 different contractors has been too long. The only difference is our house is mostly done in concerete and looks fine outside. But those leaks just kept coming one after the other which is just crazy.
Thats what i saw with the roof, the pitch is too low for nipa to properly function.
Use ant spray to take care of your ant problem.
So Hard Building a house with no supervision all leads to chaotics …. Scenario everythings turn to Stress. Hope it all works fine..
It will be ok!
Coco wood? Man! termites going to feast on your house. 2 story cement house stronger for typhoons.
😊😊😊😊😊😊👍
It boric acid on the ant hill
Soon there will be a sink hole where the stumps was.
Im just wondering How could you install the nipa on top of the corrugated GI sheets???
LOL, what kind of contractor you hired? I’d rather poured concrete from top to bottom, typhoon proof.
Some Labor is expensive and waste of time & money if they cannot understand or .. if you don't watch the work of your labor.
I feel bad for you, no one sh have to go through this agony. Some work don’t have integrity just because it’s a small house doesn’t mean the workmanship suffers. I’ve been a follower of Tal for years and he deserves better. I’ve seen many stories like this and the same issues keep coming up. There no standard. Even the larger homes I’ve seen all have the appearance of shoddy and unprofessional workmanship. Tal if you ever see my comments please know that I feel your pain. Maybe you can go the local news and see what kind of help they can bring by telling your story. I can’t bear to see this , don’t go through this alone. I’m hoping when I see your next Vlog your problems will be fixed so you can live worry free.
Just use your nipa for your chicken house
You need a reliable contractor, engineer and foreman to oversee the project daily .
Paano nakabili ng lupa at nakapagpatayo ng bahay ang foreigner na to
😻 *promo sm*
Why not hire an Architect? Just to be sure of the job they do
change your worker you need a professional builder /how many tmes you have to do it again and again
You could just have burned the stumps.
If you've checked and found they did a sloppy job head over to the local police, tell them you are being victimized by repeated mistakes so that they extend their works fixing up small mistakes like leakages and act that they did not INTENTIONALLY MESSED THE WORK. ANY PERSON HAS BEEN A VICTIM OF THIS UNLAWFUL ACTS OF UNLICENSED CONSTRUCTION THAT SOME ARE INSIDE JOB THEFTS BECAUSE THE OWNERS EXPECT WELL MADE WORK.
IT SHOULD BE A CRIME SINCE ONE DELIBERATE HOLE THAT WILL FLOOD THE CEILING?
THAT WOULD MESS UP THE ELECTRICAL INCLUDING POOL UP WATER INTO THE INSULATION AND CEILING CREATING A WATERFALL INSIDE YOUR NEWLY BUILT HOME.
It really doesn't matter out here. I can't really persecute anyone and it won't be worth my time. Just need to move on and keep going
@@buhaynital Good luck and hopefully they know your background. Someone who lived from Siargao please send him some help
Your not lucky of having a contruction worker before wishing your workers now can repair all the problems
You’re house is tiny, it should be done right now, the contractor definitely not good, poor design, workers aren’t trained properly.
what a waste of money and time
bigger the preasure tank the less your pump motor works
bigger is better because your motor works less and uses less power
1.Have you tried applying sealant (vulca seal or silicon) to the roof nails where the leak seems to occur? if not then try it.
2.Might be because the slope of your roof.
This is why it’s important to have a professional like an Architect from the beginning if you want to build something and in this case your dream house because at least you’ll have an idea on how your house would look like as per plans and perspectives or 3D visualization , the proper methodologies in construction to be use base on the site or location of the project, the materials to be use based on your budget and most importantly how much would it cost you or what we call “Bill of Quantities” or “Estimate” of the project. These factors will guide you the client to monitor if you are still on the said budget and you’ll see discrepancies on the plans vs. on the actual because any differences on the two cost you money.
This is just a friendly reminder to all of us to seek help to the professionals and please be kind in the comments section and let’s just support Kuya Tal.
I know we have this stigma about hiring Architects or Engineers about they’re just expensive but in the long run we Architects help you the client to make decisions about your project based on your visions and your budget.
