The Athabasca Falls Pullover is worked in one piece from the top down in simple double crochet stitches, making it a great beginner sweater pattern. The raglan pullover can easily be modified to any length, and the pattern works quickly with no seaming. This cozy and modern sweater is inspired by the layered rock of Athabasca Falls, Alberta, Canada. Crocheted in a soft and fuzzy self-striping yarn.

I have found when making the band, going through both loops on the first and last stitch of the row creates a stronger edge and its less susceptible to losing form over washings.
Love this sweater! Thank you for the tutorial. I love that the seam is not in the middle of the back! So much better looking. The yarn is great for the sweater.
This is beautiful! I absolutely love how the colors played out for this. Raglan is my personal favorite, I love being able to try on my garments as I am making them.

So beautifully explained and easy to follow! Super friendly for beginners, but there are also nice tips for crocheters who are a bit more experienced. Thank you! I'll definitely share this! Love from Argentina 🥰
Very beautiful sweater, I love the raglan sleeves. Thank you
Great video showing in details in which stitches to put the increases and how to join. I always tended to loose stitches and never understood what I was doing wrong!
Starting on my second sweater. This has been my favorite tutorial I have found. Thank you so much!
Wonderful!
I love all of your detailed advice on how to avoid gaping and other issues. The joining date the most difficult issue for beginners.
Thanks you for this amazing tutorial! You have given me the confidence to try it! Your explanations are clear and easy to follow. Great for beginners! 🥰
So nice. I am a newbie, you made it simple enough for me to follow. I hope I can make it. 🙏 😊
Very nice! I love the classic raglan with the cool yarn!
My first crochet project to make a jumper and this pattern was so easy to follow. I made mine hip length in medium and used about 1000m. Thank you for the pattern and video. My daughter now wants me to make her one.
Great pattern. Love how it turned out!
I started this pattern last night. I love it. Super easy to follow, only I had to use a different 4 ply yarn and down a stitch size. I would love to purchase that yarn though. It looks amazing .👏
You're patterns are the CUTEST
The color mix of that yarn is very beautiful and the sweater looks great!

Thanks for this absolutely brilliant tutorial. ❤
Might just have to make all my pullovers this way! Love the chain one space design going into the underarms, so I decided to do a chain 2 space there! It’s super cute, and will work up nicely as a lightweight pullover!🎉
Gracias, como siempre tu clase excelente, todo prolijo eres mi inspiración, gracias por titular al español 💕
Just finished my sweater today! I made it longer on the body and plan to wear a button up under it. I love it!

Bought this Puppy Fur yarn some time ago and thank goodness I've finally found something to do with it! Just purchased your pattern and am excited to get going on this lovely sweater! Thank you so much for this great tutorial to go along with it. Great work!!!
Yay, thank you!
What is puppy fur yarn?
@@jamytolliver It's just the name of the color of this yarn she is using. There are several other colors at Mary Maxim of this Super Soft yarn.
Muchas gracias por compartir !!!
Lo he hecho pero un poco más largo y con elástico abajo y me encanta
Thank you for this Tutorial I can't wait to try this pattern, I have never crocheted a sweater before! I'm so excited but a little scared!!
I used this tutorial for making my first sweater but made the sleeves to my elbows and did 3” bands. I also made it wide at my “wings”. I’m in shock how easy it was and I just made a tailored spring sweater in 4 days while watching tv. Thank you for a great tutorial! As a lefty, these things are hard to follow but you did a great job. Thank you again. I plan on making the puffy sleeve sweater dress you have a video of next.
Not sure I will buy ill fitted sweaters again!
Awesome!
I need help. Im at row 11 with 156 stitches. Am I doing this, right?? Will I get 200 stitches at row 15 to start the sleeves?? Someone help me please. The written pattern won't work for me.
@@lyneboucher552 Maybe you did like me and accidentally skipped some stitches near the V (chain 1)?
Very nice will have to watch after the sabbath 👍
Hope you enjoy it!
love it!

Thank you MJ for another great pattern! I started it today... Using different yarn but having a ball with it.
Hi, how do you work the gauge?
Dc,Hdc???
I did DC and it's bigger than 4 inches
Beautiful 😍 I can hardly wait to make this. Lots of love and yarny hugs 💗
Amei você explica bem obrigada
Bellissimo !!! complimenti da fare grazie!!
Harikasınız yine maşallah ellerinize sağlık çok güzel 💙🦋
Que lindo!
Nagyon szép
It would be really great if you add a mesuarment for every piece that you work on. So it would be easy to follow with different size yarn
This is kinda old now but they do technically provide measurements in the full tutorial where it includes the gauge. With the gauge provided, you can create a ratio. For example, her gauge for the main body is 12 stitches by 9 rows for 4". So, when you're on row 13 of the yoke for the size xs, the number of stitches for the longer side is 49. Every 12 stitches is 4" so you can make that into 4 inches/12 stitches. You have 49 stitches though, so you need to calculate how many inches that wound be equal to, which is about 16.3.
49 stitches x 4 inches/12 stitches = 16.3 (you need to cancel the stitches unit by having them in opposite places to get inches)
For me, I'm using a bulkier yarn where my 12 stitches is 4.5 inches. I need to make that equivalent to 16.3" so I worked backwards and took 16.3 times 12/4.5 (you have to reverse the order or take the reciprocal)
16.3 inches x 12 stitches/4.5 inches = 43.4 stitches (the only unit I'm left with is the number of stitches because inches cancelled each other out)
You may have figured that out by now but in case someone is wondering how to modify the yarn type.
@jadechu2411 u r awesome
Dankeschön ❤️
Merciiii❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty need the pattern
عمل رائع وجميل جدا شكرا لك..
thank you
One of these days I'm gonna make a sweater. Thanks for the video!
Go for it!
Bellissimo e grazie per aver condiviso😊 sarebbe bello realizzarlo con scollo a v
Good day. It's a beautiful job. ❤ Enable Czech subtitles. Thank you.
Ooh I love one piece cardigans and sweaters/pullovers cuz otherwise my tension is different if it’s worked by separate sections 😢
I’m obsessed with making mine, half way through. Now my 5 year old niece has asked for matching 🙈 is there a simpler way to work out how many stitches to start with? Please xxx
A friend sent me this video, i used a yarn that said size 4 but was turning out too big, so i have 63 stitches going around the yoke on the single crochet, (it felt like the right size collar) would love some help figuring out where to start the v's ❤
Hermoso proyevto❤😅😮
This yarn looks so yummy. Wondering how much more yarn I would need to make it longer? Can’t wait to try top down.
Probably only an additional ball. You get 350 yards on one ball of yarn!
Hi there,
Lovely project and instruction, thank you!
Could you please provide instruction on sizing? I'd like to make myself a sweater but I'm larger than this. Could I apply number of stitches to size?
So glad that you moved the join to beginning of the row...I have searched numerous yolk patterns as the join in the middle of a traditional yoke is ugly. My question when doing hdc,is it reasonable to assume that I do a standing hdc ch 1 hdc.
I really struggle with following written patterns, is there a way to follow this video but make the jumper fit an L/XL?
Just got my yarn today. Couple of questions: did you color control and how did you start each ball? From the outside in?
Thanks for this! Really clear and looks very straightforward. I'm going to try for myself but using a lighter weight yarn. Of course that means I'll have more stitches, but I guess I'll also need more stitches under the arm? Or is it always ch4? Thank you!
