Another lovely video, thank you! The audio was fine…you really do have the most remarkable luck at charity stalls, the clay haul will be wonderful for all kinds of projects. And your garden is so beautiful, thanks for showing it to us. it’s so serene, although I know how much work they can be! Hope to see you back here soon, enjoy that perfect weather.❤
Thank you so much. I’ve had quite a bit of difficulty getting the sound right, so I’m glad to hear that it was okay this time. I do feel very lucky with my charity shop/stall finds! I’ve not been to my local charity shop that sells crafts for a while… so I must visit soon to see what I can find! Thank you - I’m really grateful to have my little garden - I know not everyone is able to have outdoor space so I never take it for granted. 🌱
Thank you! 🌷 I made my chimney pots out of air dry clay but, apart from that, I don’t know what to use it for! I wonder if the remaining air dry clay that I have in my box will still be usable, or if it’ll have dried up!
Milliput is a wonderful alternative for shaping things and plus there is no need to bake it. I use it to re-make shoes for my Dolls. You found some Great deals! Thank you for sharing!!
I've only used the dollsculpt clay that needs to be baked. I've seen some amazing things made from polymer clay, but I'm afraid they are far beyond my level of talent. LOL I love your garden! You must get a lot of enjoyment out of it. It seems very peaceful.
Hehe! 🤭 I’ve made a few small items out of polymer clay for my doll’s house but it’s certainly not something I’ve used a lot. I’ve also seen some incredible creations that other people have done! Thank you. Yes, it is lovely and peaceful. I love this time of the year when the poppies have flowers 🌺.
Been doing miniatures since 1971 & find milliput very handy. It's 2 "sticks" of kind of clay & you cut off exactly the same amount of "clay" off eech stick & mix thoroughly together. This means you can use a very tiny amount. I've used it when bought tiny three legged dogs/cats from charity shops ( or in rooting box at a show) & given them a new leg, or a new ear on a broken zebra hunting trophy head. It readily attaches ( with a very thin overlap) onto whatever item & you hand mould it ( and/or use modelling tool) to match whatever you're mending & it dries very quickly. It will sand with a emery nail file. It is white but paints well, when you want to match up. And you can make small objects, cups, plates, tea pots, etc (you can add broken spouts or hsndles or whatever you need) Quick & easy, no baking, quick fix if you even drop a doll & lose it's nose ! Hope this helps. Regards, Dee.
Thank you so much - that’s incredibly helpful! I’m looking forward to using it now! Thank you for sharing your expertise… and thank you for watching, too! ☺️
Hello, you've got a lovely garden. I was at the York DH fair on Sunday too, the weather was lovely again this year. I didn't buy much at all, being disabled I couldn't get near to the charity stall at all, it was heaving as usual, it's the same at Miniatura the charity stall is always the busiest one. Best wishes from Yorkshire 😊
Aw, it’s lovely to hear that you were there too! Sorry to hear you couldn’t have a look at the charity stall. I’ve never been to Miniatura. How does it compare to the York fair?
I use white opaque and colour myself. As for softening , keep it in your warm hands or add a teeny bit of baby oil...dont forget you can add a colour to clay by using pastel chalks...i love making foods but have made things like handles for pans or drawers. Or for shapes i cant find. ❤
Thank you for the advice. I’ve used Vaseline before to soften clay. I’ve heard it can be good to use a pasta roller to soften it too… is that something you’ve tried?
Your garden is beautiful due to wasteland behind my house I am overwhelmed with weeds and decided not to do anything till the land was cleared. I have been collecting Sindy dolls and have got quite a few now.
It has been cleared and after 40 years it's on the market for development so I can now attach the weeds and get it back under control when it stops raining
Tried to explain assimply as possible, once you've had a practice, I think you'll find it a good product to have & you can make tiny dolls , stautes, ornaments etc. to paint without a lot of palaver ! Regards, Dee.
Lovely little haul...❤ I work with polymer clay making miniature foods.. ive tried air dry clay just didnt work for me..hope you find a use for fimo..x
Thank you! Polymer clay and air dry clay are very different, aren’t they. The air dry clay worked really well for my chimney pots but I like how polymer clay doesn’t dry out so much as you use it.
Hehe! The first song was called ‘Bossa Sonsa’ by Quincas Moreira and I think the other track was ‘Los Encinos’, by the same artist. Glad you enjoyed it! ☺️
I love your garden You can make some lovely flowers with your new clay. There are several flowers with a touch of hot pink at their centers I have a hot pink phlox that looks quite natural along my borders. 🩷
Your garden is just beautiful.🩷💜🌻🌷🪻⚘️🌿
Thank you! I do really enjoy gardening ☺️. Next I’d like to start growing some vegetables!
@thelittlemouseshouse My husband and I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, jalapeño peppers, and red bell peppers.
@@vickinoeske1154 That’s lovely! I definitely need to give it a try next year!
Your flowers are so pretty! I wish there miniature shows in my area. I only know of 1 in Texas, and it's several hours away.
Thank you! 🌺
I’m sorry your nearest doll’s house show is so far away.
I love seeing what treasures you found!
🤗 It was good to find some craft materials! I’m looking forwards to trying miniature knitting!

Your garden is gorgeous! I have only used air dry clay. I am far too impatient to use polymer clay.
