Thank you for watching my thrifting for miniatures video, please let me know what you think and if I should create more videos like this one. Next video will be a kitchen makeover for the Best in Black apartment diorama. Thank you again for watching, have an awesome day! Oh, wait, don't go away yet, I have so many videos on my channel you can watch, like this one ua-cam.com/video/lvr-iypnSbI/v-deo.html You'll see how I put the Best in Black Barbie apartment together. Have an awesome day my friends! Please don't forget to subscribe and give this video a like.
That tiny shadow box could become a TV. I swear though some thrift stores think they are high dollar outlet stores with the prices they slap on their inventory, lol.
that's a cool idea :) i know right, makes me angry... so happy weather is good for garage sales, found some awesome stuff for my apartment, only a few miniature figurines... i always find better deals at a garage sales :)
Huge fan. I have binged your videos since I found you the other day. I have always wanted to create in this way but by the time I could afford the time and money my grandkids were beyond wanting Barbie things. Did do lots of crochet, like the things your mother made for you and also lots of clothes, including a wedding dress. But actually making furniture and constructing walls. well never got that far. I do love the pieces you refurbish and especially love the thrifting videos, who knows, I may have great grand kids in the future that I can thrift/craft for. Thanks for putting a smile on my face and keeping me entertained.
Thank you soooooo much :) comments like yours inspire me so much :) you don't have to wait for grandkids, do it for yourself :) maybe you can even start your own channel or share your hobby on instagram of facebook :) my mom also made some crochet clothing, a wedding dress sounds fabulous, would love to see it :) actually i have a new thrifting video this weekend, i premier new videos on Saturdays at 11am...if you're around you can watch it with me :) thank you again for taking the time to leave me this beautiful comment, i'll be smiling all night :)
You and I share a common passion: looking at one thing and seeing the possibility of it becoming another. You should be quite proud of what you've created. God bless you, my dear 🎉
I love going on your shopping journey with you. I saw so much I could use but unfortunately I'm in another country. Yes to black rug, love the chair, no to white and blue vase on table might be better as floor vase. Love how you change your rooms on your other vids.
Thank you sooooo much :) I love creating these videos, I don't really have people in my life that share the same passion as I do, so uploading the videos here and getting feedback on my items from people who appreciate them as much as I do, is soooo amazing :) so when i'm holding my camera/iphone while i'm filming, it also feels like i have someone shopping with me :) thank you so much :) I am editing a full tour video of my diorama i have been working on, it's finished and i'm ready to move on to a new project or two at the same time :) Thank you soooo much for watching and commenting :) it inspires and motivates me so much :)
Hi, GingerLola- I like to go to Home Goods and Marshalls. I look in their stationary aisles and I always find cute things to add to my dollhouses. Also, I look for small topiary. They make great plants for a biophilic design. I love the new rug you put in the black decored living room. The chair I would have put on a patio with a table. I like how you find what you want and automatically know what you want to do with it. You are very talented. I have now 11 Barbie houses. 4 I purchased are made by Mattel. The others I built from MDF and Cartons. They turned out beautifully. My largest is Sept-Tours, a French chateau with 14 rooms. I made it after "A Discovery of Witches" French chateau. My favorite room in it is Phillipe's library. I also made a Mirrored Barbie House based off of the designer Doug Aitken who made the Mirage Gstaad house. I love it. You should look at the Doug Aitken Mirage Gstadd house on You Tube and create one of his mirrored houses. You would enjoy making it. Suerte.
Thank you so much :) omg i really want to see your houses, i'm subscribed to your channel just waiting and hoping :) i'm thinking of creating a glam apartment diorama for my collector marilyn monroe doll, i see her in a hollywood glamour setting :)
@@GingerLolaMiniatures You are sooo kind. I have a You Tube chanel and not very much on it. I am an old lady. I definitely do not know how to load anything on You Tube. I get others to do that for me. (ja,ja) You are very talented. Keep making your videos. I truly enjoy them.
You always inspire me, thank you so much. There is a lot of videos on youtube that can help you upload, if you have any questions, you can always ask me too :) xo but no pressure, up to you, but one thing i know for sure... you are never too old :)
I just found this vid. Love it! I had an idea for the mini shadow box.. if you put it with the glass facing up, and with resin, you can create a zen indoor mini pond!!!
The chair and beads are my favorites. I love watching miniatures hauls. The house I'm renovating is a 1:12 scale. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Thank you for watching and commenting :) that sounds cool, are you going to share your renos? would love to watch :) do you find it hard to find 1:12 scale items? I have done smaller scale... polly pocket scale dollhouses, it was harder because so tiny :) my clumsy fingers couldn't handle it :)
Cool, thank you so much, wasn't sure if i should do this again, i have been doing 'thrifting for miniature' #short videos, but some people asked about making a longer version, in the short version, everything is sped up, so hard to see whats on the shelf :)
I think you found some really great pieces. The rug definitely pulls everything together, the other one washed out the room. I also liked the painting, but I think I preferred the wood piece, because of the gray boards in it.
thank you so much, you're so right, the new rug is so much better, brings the room to life :) i agree again, i put back the wood art and put the black frame near the fireplace :)
Its fun looking around in an American trift-store; you will find some of the things here in trift-stores too(Europe) but they ask 3 times less at least in the charity ones. I always find stuff for my 1/6 scale roomboxes and also find a lot; mostly very cheap at my local German flee-market :) Thanks for taking us along :)
Cool, I would love to go to the US and other countries and check out their thrift stores, i'm in Canada and they're not too bad, but prices are just so ridiculous now, i only go on sale days :) do you have garage or yard sales in Germany? I have been going to garage sales and found some really cool stuff for my dioramas and dollhouse makeovers, will do a video soon :) right now i'm working on the bedrooms :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :) have an awesome day!
Ever since the new movie came out I haven't been able to find barbie stuff at my stores. Plus the prices on stuff is just ridiculous lately. You found some goodies though!
Thank you so much :) I recently found some great barbie playsets on facebook marketplace, have you watched the video, it's one of my recent ones, i got such an amazing deal, really got lucky, i have seen stuff on marketplace for barbie thats crazy expensive. Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
true... most times when i watch these back to edit, i kick myself for noticing some cool stuff i missed :) just getting used to filming in public, sometimes i feel weird but i'll get over it :)
Just found your channel. I do the same type of shopping and refurbishing with my 1:12 and 1:16 size dollhouses. It’s so funny, I seem to always find so many things for Barbie size, but rarely for my smaller sizes! I’m curious, because space is such an issue for me - do you keep your rooms/houses out on “display” or do you keep them tucked away until you’re actually working on one (or two)? I had Barbies as a girl and have thought of doing a Barbie room 9or dollhouse but I just don’t have the space! Thanks much! Kathleen
Hi, it definitely is easier finding 1:6 items for dollhouses :) right now I have one table for crafting.... and three other tables to have my dioramas set up.... I like having the main living area of the diorama always displayed for my thrifting videos.... I would love to have more tables so I can display more of them, but space is an issue :) Thanks so much Kathleen, I'm so happy you found my channel :)
awesome, thanks so much, i will definitely do more videos like this one, i love finding excuses to go to the thrift store, now that it's garage sale season, i'll be going out every saturday, hoping to find cool stuff :) i will definitely do a video on how i store everything, but right now i'm collecting more items to store my things from garage sales, i like to store everything in clear glass vases, especially the bowl type, once i find more items to help organize i'll do a similar video like this one and show more of my space when i create videos, gotta keep it 'mini' here :) i'll also try to add more clips of me grabbing my supplies, i actually like to weave in craft supplies in my decorating, i have craft supplies sprinkled everywhere in my apartment amongst my decor :)
Hi I just found you on You Tube and I love watching you craft, you make it look so easy but I know it's not though. I look forward to seeing you craft more Beautiful Crafts. '

What are some good web sites to sell miniatures?
I think Etsy probably the best one, I’m launching my miniature decor shop soon.
You need to show more of what you get and not so much where you go.....
I think I show both, have you seen any of my new thrifting videos, thank you so much for feedback, it really helps :)
The music is too loud and annoying. Please get rid of it and replace it for somethung soft and low.
