I have a mini tattoo shop too! I use nail tattoos with a coat of resin or clear nail polish and tiny jewelry findings for piercings. I named it Dark Phoenix Ink Slingers. I even made a company emblem and tiny business cards 😂 It’s in 1/6 scale, but I plan to make a “second location” in a large room box in 1/12. It’s women run and I have a “grandma” doll that is heavily inked and runs the show. Not to mention the insanity of the dollhouse I’m restoring…I’m having WAY too much fun🤘

I'm one of those people that will keep garbage, because the box is too nice to throw away. Now, I've moved on to looking at things and wondering if I can use them for miniatures or stuff for my plants. Also, book nooks will always be cool in my book!
I am a trash horder too. My granddaughter got in trouble for keeping some trash in her bedroom, the excuse she gave was "it's for my crafting, Nanny said that it's recycling material for crafts". Her mother wasn't amused with me 😂😂😂
Oops Shyra, forgot to add, I think maybe, possibly ur "Ulta teeny" coffee cups & carafe are Greek. & for serving strong Greek coffee. It is boiled on stove w/ sugar. Not brewed in reg. coffee pot. Ultra strong & served in small cups w/o handles.
I’m so happy I came across your channel. I recently started my first dollhouse project and watching your videos has been very helpful. I’ve been able to start finding things that I can modify to make it what I need or the confidence to make it myself! I just macramed two plant hangers because I didn’t like the string the kit came with and thought, I’ll do it myself! It is very satisfying. Thank you!!
That's so good to hear! I'm so happy you're making minis and trying new things. Just go for it bc it doesn't need to turn out perfectly. It's just dollhouse stuff. It's fun
I went through a kit dollhouse phase, I made up the first couple then just found it was a great source of furniture that can be coaxed to fit 1:18th, I think a lot are half scale but you find all these interesting bits and pieces and endless book covers, pictures and frames and printed music and pages in one particular book shop kit. I havent even gone a quarter of the way through my stash of unusual bits and pieces and most are already earmarked for particular things I want to make. I don't regret buying any of them but the bookshop, a breadshop/bakery and a fruit shop gave me so many things to make moulds from that the actual kits are still saving me money 😊 great idea with the superglue, I have the same problem!
I was pretty skeptical concerning Temu. This review really gives great info and I think I’m going to try the app. Your videos and tutorials are ALWAYS super informative but they pale in comparison to the laugh out loud one liners you toss so casually into your narratives. Shyra- TY - what a top notch review!!! Love the price comparisons (U DID ur homework) & the honest pros & cons! YOU are the one who got ME hooked🪝on Temu a couple months ago! A very small piece of ziplock bag would work for a piping bag...like the corner of a snack size bag..and cut a small tip off the corner..and stick the piping tip in it. And the tiny cups with no handle..are expresso cups ..
I do not have that specific 2D type set but I have made another one. It did leave a lot of options for customisation. Like, where there was a flat wooden cutout lamp, I put a plastic miniature, and where there was a flat wooden cutout vase I used a long bead and some bits and pieces to make a 3d vase with flowers. That was my 2nd ever miniature, so I think you will find many more things to customise with all your experience.
great tip abt dipping super glue in baking soda & also the nail charms. I love the idea of book nooks. i like surprise miniature scenes, like in holes in walls or in unused drawers.
Thank you for the good and honest appraisal of the items you purchased! I've found that some items made outside the U.S. use metric measurements. I bought a small Marvel doll that was advertised as a 1:12 scale but was obviously not. It looked more like a 1:24 scale, so I bought it anyway. Turns out it actually was 1:12... in "centimeters" not inches, lol. I carry a small retractable tape measure with me now. 😉
Great haul 👍! I love that phone especially because my grandma had a working one when I was little 😃 The mini toys are so cute for a baby room 😍 I have a couple of those DIY tiny rooms I feel to put 1 together because it seems so tedious 😆 I think book nooks are still popular, I think they're awesome 🤓
The to small coffee cups could be used in the kids room in the doll house or as a display for a tea set for kids maybe? Just love this! I have always wanted to make another miniature ever since I made one out of popsicle sticks as a kid...
The tiny cups you said are too small could be espresso cups! alternatively, since they are without handles, they could be Chinese tea cups. Hi Shyra, just loved your haul. I also love how you give us more ideas as to what certain items can be used for (including the packaging) and how to make quick changes to make them more realistic. There certainly is a difference in prices between the different sites. I find Temu has been good to shop from especially as there aren’t too many miniature places in Perth, Western Australia. Take care. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
Thank you so much! I think inexpensive or mass produced minis are a great starting point. They're often one or two simple changes away from looking so much better. That's a good point about Australia. I'm glad Temu is giving you access to minis you otherwise would have to pay a fortune for.
I love watching your videos. Sometimes laughing when you have a little bit of attitude. 😂 I’m still learning my way around UA-cam channel, but would like to find your room box’s that you have done. I have seen several of your videos and have learned so much. My favorite so far is the tiny shed you built and placed in a plant pot. From you I also felt I could trust in Temu, but I have become addicted to ordering. I have gotten several orders and so far have been very lucky with the products. Thanks so much for your videos.
Sorry for getting you addicted! If you go to my channel Playlists, you'll find my videos separated into categories. That may make it easier to navigate. ua-cam.com/video/uYm5I3AoONo/v-deo.htmlsi=xLlDQmix-vlguZml This is one of my favorites
Enjoy! Make sure you check back in to the app before a 30 days is up so you can get a credit if any of the prices have dropped. Also, ask for a refund for anything that arrives damaged. They're very easy to work with.
You could add resin or dimensional magic to the book book pieces like mirrors or potion bottles. Thanks so much for sharing how to upgrade with alcohol/ rub n buff. I’ve also ordered duplicates but the bird cage with the bird was very realistic so I kept them both. Can’t wait to see how you alter the 1/48th scale house. I’m afraid to start mine because it is so small. Thanks so much for the video!
These are so cute. I’m a little envious because I bought several of the same items and most were broken or very flawed. I’m waiting for my last order of miniatures and depending on what condition they are in will determine whether or not I’ll be ordering from them again. I’m glad everything you received was in great condition.
Hello again. I received my Temu order (little oven, display stand, baked goods, etc…) and I am so pleased ! The items are so detailed and cute, although the first thing I did was break the handle on the oven door with my clumsy fingers. But I was able to glue it back on and it looks fine now. I also ordered a pack of 10 little strawberry jam jar JEWELRY CHARMS (just a couple of bucks) and they are adorable and work nicely in 1:12 scale. All I had to do was unscrew the tiny metal loops on the top and repaint the lid .
That's awesome! Set a reminder in your phone for several weeks from now. Go in to your order and see if there's a price adjustment available. You get the money back as a credit if the price has changed.
Two hundred and fifty dollars!! Wow! How nice! I think the two-tined fork is for fish, maybe? I look forward to seeing which accessories remain shiny and which you will modify to age! I really like the fancy jewelry dish more as a light fixture... The decals!! I was thinking the cheap plastic easel could at least serve as a template for creating one of better quality. The nail glue for so little money AND the tip for sealing it with baking soda - brilliant! Tysm! Maybe the too-small coffee cups and saucers are for espresso? OMG the piano! I have my dad's black upright, and a little black upright piano music box that someone gave him sooo many years ago to match it! Isn't it funny how you can buy the exact same item for way less money if it's marketed for anything other than art!? I still want to do a book nook - except, as you noted, they all seem to be 2D. I will def modify, as, I'm sure, will you. What a fun haul!! (Sorry for the long comment!)
I love that fancy fish as a light fixture. I'm eyeing it for the boutique. I'm really excited about the water slide decals. I'll buy more the next time I shop. I learned about hardening super glue with baking soda from Thicketworks.
Omgggggg those measuring spoons are the cutest thing I've seen in the bags😮 maybe u could buy some more to have them displayed in the bags for sale in the bakery 😊
Love your commentary and honest description of the haul pieces. I'd love to do a big haul like this but I am rather financially challenged so I will just enjoy yours lol
LOL, you got me laughing on the "gross cat food" mention, LOL. I love the items you have purchased, I also have some of them, but I will go back to look for the others you have shown. Thank you so much for showing us.
😂 if you're looking for Barbie scale items on Temu, checkout the dimensions of the 1:12 scale listings. Some of them are the right size. Others are offered in 1:12 and 1:6.
24:54 "I don't know if booknooks are still cool" LoL! I don't know either, but I just finished a 99% from-scratch book nook this week. I have a CuteBee book nook to put together now, which I will enjoy for the jigsaw puzzle/Lego calmness.
LOVE your videos!! Not sure if mentioned already but the set with the miniature glass coffee pot and 2 mugs and saucers for 1.79....when you put one of the smaller mugs next to bigger mug with a handle that you opened earlier, I thought it looked perfect as an espresso mug and tiny saucer because espresso mugs don't have handles!! Just an idea to also use these in your bakery😉
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned what the fork is called, it’s a meat carving fork… I love Temu. They have so many great deals. The flower transfers would look cute on one of the cutting boards.
it is great that you expand on the visual with a description, modification suggestions and possible uses. Also, you are hilarious - so what the hell did I order?!
This was a great video! Excellent variety and Wonderful review! I really appreciate this because my daughter gets me things from Temu but I am have been pretty skeptical. This video gives me more confidence! Lolol Not "nail art sticker envy" i almost fell out of my chair! Lolol! Those decals are great! i have never used the water slide kind on my nails.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR HUMOR!!!! Thanks for the shout out!
I know people have mixed feelings about Temu, but I absolutely love them. I've ordered over 100x and have only had two or three problems due to poor packaging and things broken during shipping. FYI, use a zip-loc bag as a piping bag.😊❤
My mixed feelings about them are over their aggressive promotion of over consumption and buying things you don’t need just because they are cheap. From their messaging, slogan, website design, ads, etc. But they are far from the only business that does that. We just all have to use our best judgment before clicking the order button. I have purchased mini kits from them in the past and they were great and I will probably order more mini stuff from them again.
@GittanKitten I when I discovered Temu a year and a half ago I first started ordering 1/12 scale items for my dollhouse. They had by far the best pricing. Dollhouses as a hobby is quite expensive. I branched out to various kitchen items, children's toys and Korean brand makeup.
@@vickinoeske1154 that’s great! My comment wasn’t to judge, just to voice why some people feel iffy about Temu. Miniatures are expensive, boy do I know it! How is your dollhouse coming along? I know it can feel like a never ending project. 😂
Yeah, I really don’t like Temu’s labor practices, encouragement of overconsumption, and the way they steal designs from smaller designers without compensation or even acknowledgment. But they aren’t the only ones who do it, by any means. I can see why miniaturists like to order from them, and I love seeing what QCM does with the “raw ingredients” she gets from them. I personally deleted their app because I couldn’t just LOOK at stuff without going through their ridiculous spinners and blinky ads. HATE THAT CRAP. I will say that Temu ALSO has a terrible reputation for stealing and selling your data, so folks should be extremely wary of them and use good passwords that they change often, when buying on that site (or any others like them, such as Ali Express or Wish.) The things I MOST appreciate from QCM are the things she makes from literal trash. I ADORE that creativity and waste reduction!
I’m surprised you got an orange Temu bag! Three of my previous orders were plain white ones, I really liked the silverware, I think the size is perfect for my mouse Jasmine as a pot stirring spoon 😅 she is three inches tall, I only uploaded two videos on my UA-cam channel still working on the outside of her house, so I should have enough time to order the silverware before I get started on the inside of the house, can’t wait to see what you are going to do with all those beautiful miniatures you bought❤
The small coffee cups are espresso! They don't have handles and they are much smaller than regular coffee mugs. It's obvious you don't eat a lot of Italian. Hahahaha
I understand the gluten part but no coffee? I would miss it too much! By the way thanks for your videos, they are fantastic! You do such a wonderful job.
You seem like the right kind of person to ask...have you ever made bulls eye glass panes for windows? I'm working on a Harry Potter style apothecary shop with deep bow windows and want to do a couple of panes as bulls eye glass, but I can't figure out how to create them. Any ideas?
ua-cam.com/users/shorts6dY_sCHkqXk?si=AjsPFxSmXar8fj1T I'd use Diamond Glaze, which works the same as Dimensional Magic. It dries with dimension. Good luck!
I have not bought from Temu before, but I did see on the news that there is a lot of scams on there. Have you ever had any troubles with them before? I love all that you found and shared, and what great prices! Thank you for sharing and any help about what I saw on the news

This is one of my favorites
You have the best Temu hauls! I ordered the little oven, display stand, baked goods, and a dozen other tiny things !
Enjoy! Make sure you check back in to the app before a 30 days is up so you can get a credit if any of the prices have dropped. Also, ask for a refund for anything that arrives damaged. They're very easy to work with.
Yes PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a nursey and child's room!!
Maybe I'll do another cardboard room to hang on the wall.
I love the snowman mug set!
They're so cute!
Ive just made the wand shop kit from Temu and its a fab build
Ooh exciting! I'm so tempted to start a kit now but I'm busy packing etc
You are so talented and Hilarious!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that 😊
I love how many of these still work with 1:6 scale!! I'm a 1:6 collector and it can be hard to find realistic minis since it is playscale
Lots of the "1:12" minis work for 1:6. Check out the dimensions and you'll find lots of stuff.
My Temu parcel just arrived! You don’t know it but we just unboxed together😂😂😂 I got the Harry Potter kit too!
Fun! It's a blast opening a bunch of minis.
haha, "gross cat food." You kill me, you're so funny.😁🐱
I can't believe the only one who thinks wet food is the most appalling thing ever 😆
@queencityminis The cat food commercial where they take a fork to fluff-up the wet cat food like it's the most appetizing thing ever? 🤑🤢
At minute 23:54 you could use the cups as espresso cups.
That's a good idea!
That's a great idea! I could definitely do that to customize the book nook.
My pleasure:)
That’s ok their prices are so low compared to what I have spent over the years I don’t mind. Have a great day. Happy Easter 😊
Same to you!
A two tine fork is generally used for appetizers or garnishes
Like a pickle or olive fork? Makes sense
These are so cute. I’m a little envious because I bought several of the same items and most were broken or very flawed. I’m waiting for my last order of miniatures and depending on what condition they are in will determine whether or not I’ll be ordering from them again. I’m glad everything you received was in great condition.
That sucks! I've ordered 4 huge hauls now and have only gotten a few broken items. None of the items have been flawed. Bad luck
Hello again. I received my Temu order (little oven, display stand, baked goods, etc…)
and I am so pleased ! The items are so detailed and cute, although the first thing I
did was break the handle on the oven door with my clumsy fingers.
But I was able to glue it back on and it looks fine now.
I also ordered a pack of 10 little strawberry jam jar JEWELRY
CHARMS (just a couple of bucks) and they are adorable and
work nicely in 1:12 scale. All I had to do was unscrew the tiny
metal loops on the top and repaint the lid .
Thank you for the video. I really liked the Scandinavian tea set. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you! You too!
I love Temu for Miniatures. Better than Amazon.
Better prices for the same stuff
Can't wait to see your builds begin, they will be wonderful as always
I'm excited! I'd love to start one right now.
Omgggggg those measuring spoons are the cutest thing I've seen in the bags😮 maybe u could buy some more to have them displayed in the bags for sale in the bakery 😊
That's such a cute idea! They're precious
I really enjoy when you do these it's so helpful
I'm so glad! It's such a blast. I think I'll have to do it again.
Baking soda on super glue ! Thank you for the tip ! Impatient to see your future projects with that hall !
I got the idea from Heather from Thicketworks. She calls it pauper's Bondo.
I love miniature stuff😊
Great feature video! I love the measuring spoons.
Me too! They're so precious. I should've bought two to wear them as earrings 😆
Love your commentary and honest description of the haul pieces. I'd love to do a big haul like this but I am rather financially challenged so I will just enjoy yours lol
Thank you so much! Happy to help 😉
You could use one of the cutting boards as a cookbook holder.
That's such a cute idea 😊
Great finds, great prices…. Miniatures can be ridiculously expensive. ❤❤❤
So true!
LOL, you got me laughing on the "gross cat food" mention, LOL. I love the items you have purchased, I also have some of them, but I will go back to look for the others you have shown. Thank you so much for showing us.
You're welcome!
I have two cats. Their wet food is almost worse than the litter boxes.
The two-prongued fork is a serving fork for sliced meat. And now I am rushing off, to find that set... Thanks for sharing.
Oh, thank you! I shared a screenshot of the title so you can search for it. Some of the titles are strange.
*chanting* Barbie Scale Barbie Scale Barbie Scale … like Beetlejuice but more magical. You know why I’m here. Thank you my Queeeeeeen
That is awesome! Idc what the trends say. Book nooks will always be cool to me.
I hadn't thought of espresso. Someone suggested transforming them into tiny cakes on plates. That's probably what I'll do
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned what the fork is called, it’s a meat carving fork… I love Temu. They have so many great deals. The flower transfers would look cute on one of the cutting boards.
Thank you!
That would look so cute! Thanks
I still have yet to try Temu. I like the DIY kits you got
I'm really excited to assemble them! I've done one DIY kit from a previous Temu haul.
it is great that you expand on the visual with a description, modification suggestions and possible uses. Also, you are hilarious - so what the hell did I order?!
Haha thanks
The tiny coffe cups could be used as esspresso cups!
Good call. Apparently that's what they are. I don't drink coffee, so my ignorance is justified 😆
Always! I have you to thank for all of my nail art pieces. I've gotten so much use out of my little collection.
I know people have mixed feelings about Temu, but I absolutely love them. I've ordered over 100x and have only had two or three problems due to poor packaging and things broken during shipping. FYI, use a zip-loc bag as a piping bag.😊❤
I hope you got a refund. I got a refund for a broken item from a previous purchase and didn't need to return it. Very easy
I will say that Temu ALSO has a terrible reputation for stealing and selling your data, so folks should be extremely wary of them and use good passwords that they change often, when buying on that site (or any others like them, such as Ali Express or Wish.)
The things I MOST appreciate from QCM are the things she makes from literal trash.
I got an orange exterior bag and two white bags inside.
That sounds precious! What a fun project
@@queencityminisunderstood why you removed my comment, 😅I apologize ❤no hard feelings 😊
So many great pieces. FOLKED FOLK BAHAHAHAHA! I’m weak! 😂 Please film the book nook build 🙏
I will!
Forked up fork I meant! I can’t edit because YT hates me heheheh
Wouldnt the tiny mugs, without handles be espresso mugs? That might be the right size for those in 1/12 scale
That's what people are telling me. Makes sense! Can you tell I don't drink coffee?
The small coffee cups are espresso! They don't have handles and they are much smaller than regular coffee mugs. It's obvious you don't eat a lot of Italian. Hahahaha
I don't eat any Italian 😆 No dairy or gluten for me. I also don't drink coffee.
I understand the gluten part but no coffee? I would miss it too much! By the way thanks for your videos, they are fantastic! You do such a wonderful job.
That trunk looks exactly like one I bought from Temu. It took some fiddling, but mine eventually did open.
That sounds so cool! This one def doesn't open. It's a solid block of wood.
Hi, I made the tiny houses like the purple one and have a video of all of them. the scale though is 1:72.
Love the toys for kids the giraffe is so cute. I forgot if I ordered the house and measuring spoons 😅
Oh no 😆
Why does it take so dang long for the algorithm to suggest new mini channels to me??? I don’t follow nearly enough!!
*New subscriber*
Welcome! 🤗 You have lots of videos to catch up on.
You seem like the right kind of person to ask...have you ever made bulls eye glass panes for windows? I'm working on a Harry Potter style apothecary shop with deep bow windows and want to do a couple of panes as bulls eye glass, but I can't figure out how to create them. Any ideas?
ua-cam.com/users/shorts6dY_sCHkqXk?si=AjsPFxSmXar8fj1T
I'd use Diamond Glaze, which works the same as Dimensional Magic. It dries with dimension. Good luck!
@@queencityminis that's great; for the advice :)
i put the tiny cake decorating tips inside a very small zip loc bag w/the tip cut off
Great! It worked well?
I wonder if the little cups with the red lidded pot could be an espresso set?
I think you may be right!
It’s too late, you have already turned me into a trash hoarder. 😂 This was a great haul. I can’t wait to see what you do with it all.
Thank you!! I'm def turning that kid's bookshelf into a dollhouse.
The nail ‘stickers’ you cut them out individually and put it in water & take it out to put on whatever you’re using it for…
Yes! They're water slides decals. Thank you
These are so great, love it!
Glad you like them!
wow this is so cool!! the little 2 teeth fork could be for escargots ( I am french 😉)
Oh cool! Thank you 😊
I'm pretty sure you use the piping tips on the small syringes.
I think you may be right. I do have tiny syringes from Temu
What an awesome haul!! ❤
Thank you!! 😊
I have not bought from Temu before, but I did see on the news that there is a lot of scams on there. Have you ever had any troubles with them before? I love all that you found and shared, and what great prices! Thank you for sharing and any help about what I saw on the news
We have often ordered from Temu. Everything was always perfect.
greetings from Switzerland
I've ordered three hauls I showed on UA-cam and two additional times where I was buying stuff for my household. I personally haven't had any issues.
@@queencityminis Thank you
@@mariafrapolli7890 Thank you
You made out pretty good with all that. I am currently waiting for an order from Temu, had to try and see what they offer. lol Have a great day
I think it took 7 days for my minis to arrive. The shipping is always fast for me. I'm on the East Coast if the US.
@@queencityminis Wow! I'm also east coast, but anything coming from China usually takes 3 weeks or more to get here. : ( My favorite items today were the tea mugs with the strings and tags hanging down. LOL, that's an all day sight in my house. 😊
The two pronged fork is a shrimp fork ..😊
Oh, how cute!
