Oh yeah. I can’t believe I never noticed. I knew he was a moth demon as I’ve watched episode 4 several times by UA-camrs reactions to it. It’s actually my favorite episode of the series so far despite how hard it is to watch. That being said, seeing Angel Dust stick up to Val and telling him “fuck off” is *SO CATHARTIC!*
Congratulations, y'all were right! Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how much Angel Dust has grown as a person? The way he protects Niffty and stood up to Val. He's come a long way from his pilot self. I'm proud of our Spider boy.

A seraphim is traditionally the highest order of angels. Sera introduced her as the high seraphim and Emily introduced herself as another seraphim.
Might also be good to point out that Lucifer was a Seraph before he fell (thus the 6 wings).
FYI: Seraphim is plural, Seraph is singular.

"You Didn't Know" is such a powerful number, everything about this song is fire. The Charlie's passion, Adam's smugness, Lute's rage, Emily's disillusionment, the revelation that Sera is a little unhinged, the HARMONY, and Adam revealing in front of everyone Vaggie's past. Amazing!
I know it was a mismatch of emotions and point of views from so many characters at once it was all amazing🤩😍

@@artur666stantselI saw it as a nervous smile to try to reassure Emily, but it ended up reflecting the fire and destruction of the extermination. I truly believe Sera is convinced she's doing the right thing and protecting the heavenly souls she is in charge of. I also think it's more out of fear of questioning the status quo or else she or Emily end up fallen (they emphasized the word and her emotion saying it to the point where I speculate she either admired or knew lucifer closely and saw where he is now after he tried to dream outside the norm)

Seraphim isn't actually Sera's name but longer. Its the type of Angel she is. Emily and Lucifer are Seraphims as well. The Six wings is the indicator i believe
correct, it's the station/job. Sera being the high seraph makes her the head angel (i think...the mythology can be pretty murky)

Emily is the true definition of a Christian/religious person. Someone who is loving and accepting of others and is open to the possibility of bettering yourselves and bringing joy and happiness to the world. I stepped away from organized religious groups a while back because I realized how easy it can be to become corrupt and refuse to believe that you are wrong and afraid of what’s different from you. I found it interesting and potentially exciting seeing the upper angels arguing with themselves after seeing the extermination showing that there can be change.
Em is willing to admit, albeit sadly, that things are corrupt and that’s what makes her even better. She really is what people should strive to be based on their own doctrine- caring, willing to listen, etc. I’m glad they put her in as a shimmer of light to represent religious individuals who have her characteristics. I hope she helps turn Heaven around for the better.

No. Emily is just a good, pure, honest Person. Wouldnt make a difference if she wasnt religious. Any Person can act this way with enough humilty/lack of Ego, dont have to be religious for that.
I guess you could argue that she is what Christians and other organized Religions claim to be/are supposed to be, but thats only partially true, if at all. The inherent arrogance and alienation of monotheism kind of flies in the face of that.

But just because someone is religious to begin with doesn’t automatically mean that they are arrogant a-holes. How the individual acts with their faith is what’ll decide that. What i meant was that it is a very insidous and longrunning scheme of organized religious authorites to hijack morality and being a good person and equate it with their chosen made up skydaddy and that you can ONLY have it from him/because of him and that not being a Believer automatically makes you immoral and evil, despite your actions proving the contrary. Its an easy tool for fearmongering and claiming the moral highground illegitematly. Thats why the whole "she a true definition of a Christian" kind of irks me. Being Christian first and foremost means adhearing to the Bible and its derivetives, even if thats not what most Christians actually do, thank fuck for that!^^ Shes a good person first who happens to be christian/an angel, she isnt a good Person BECAUSE she is one of those, she just. Faith is also often used as an excuse for extremely reprehensible behaviour and hatred so yeah, a slippery slope the whole thang^^.
In one day, Charlie:
- Learned that everything she learned about heaven was a lie
- Lost any faith she had in her original cause
- Found out that she's been sleeping with the enemy
- Made herself Adam's #1 Public Enemy
At least she got to see how far Angel has come and is no doubt more then proud of him
And even though they didn’t get all of heaven behind on their plan at least they got one ally on the other side
We can only hope that she and Vaggie don’t break up.

Another thing to note is I don’t think Charlie will be upset that Vaggie was an exorcist that murdered thousands, if not millions, of her own people. It's more the fact she kept this from her for so long and enabled her pipedreams, and didn't trust her to tell her.
That's what me and many others think. But this will get sorted out next episode.
Agreed, she'll be hurt that Vaggie didn't trust her, but will understand, and will also see vaggie as a shining example of her idea of redemption being possible, just reversed, an monstrous angel becoming a noble demon, rather than a demon becoming angelic. Which will hopefully drive home that they don't need heaven, that they can make hell better without them. That it's a place worth defending from heaven.

This is where the musical elements of Hazbin has really shined, I really hope this show gets a season 2. The harmony between Emily and Charlie was golden. Emily is definitely gonna be a lot of people's favorite character after this episode.

I was shocked and happy to see Molly make her debut. It's so sweet and I hope her and Anthony (AKA Angel Dust) meet up someday. It'll be so sweet for siblings to meet. And then Angel will tell about his mobster family .
Two things:
1. I can’t wait to see Morgan’s reaction with Emmy and Charlie singing together. I’m a broken record but they sound absolutely beautiful together.
2. I know these characters aren’t real but we grow an attachment to them, and we fall in love with them and want to support them…. I hope they’re as proud of Angel as I was when he stood up to Valentino!

right before 1 as well, charlie's seething anger when she's singing at Sera is amazing.
That moment where Charlie and Emily sang together was definitely one of the best musical moments of the season. Honestly I already love Emily so much and really hope she gets a bigger role next season.
Sera's a sanctimonious, self-righteous, hypocrite, but I think she has a chance to atone before the end of this season.
Something about angel that seems to be very part of his character, is that he's very protective.
We see it on episode 4, when even though Valentino had him chained and he was absolutely terrified, his head was with Charlie "Please, don't hurt her" and we see that again here with Niffty not wanting them to go through the same things he has and that hits really hard ;w;
And then we see her sister is in heaven and it hits really FREAKING HARD!
Two things I've noticed is when Sera was talking to Adam, she was talking about his "yearly" activity.
However we know that Adam has turned it into a 6 months thing.
The question is: Did Adam decide that on his own and Sera doesn't know?
If so, Sera should've caught onto that when Adam sung "We'll see you in 1 month"
Except if Sera doesn't know WHEN the extermination happenes.
Another thing: Vaggie could have easily outed Adam after he outed her.
The orb-thingy can clearly show the past.
So Vaggie could have said/yelled to Adam:
"Oh, so why do I not have wings and what happened to my eye?
Care to explain?
*points attention to the orb*
Or should I show them what you did to me?!"
Yes, Sera should have caught (if she didn't know, but I think Adam decided on himself and told Sera in those 4 months that have passed), but that was overshadowed by the fact that he said that PUBLICLY in front of Emily and others. And Emily just interrupted all thoughts, I guess...

I really don't think Sera's a bad person at her core - she's just so afraid of the idea of Hell rising up against them that she's turned to Adam's Exterminations and can't see another way out. She looks miserable when Charlie asks her if she even cares during the song - hell she looked miserable for most of the episode once the song started.
There may also be angels above her - the Elders mentioned in the Ep. 1 tale. There's a theory going around that there may be Angels embodying the Seven Heavenly Virtues which rule Heaven not Sera.
As for the tale Charlie read from the book in the first episode it's undoubtedly the story from Lucifer and Lilith's pov - for all we know Lilith did rouse Hell to arms against Heaven or Lucifer/Lilith pushed Heaven too far in the past (at least from Heaven's pov). Hopefully we find out more in Season 2.
On redemption - as far as Heaven's concerned if a Soul doesn't automatically rise from Hell redeemed then there's no proof. Likely due to the fact even Sera doesn't seem to have a clue how souls get into Heaven beyond some invisible Divine Judgement sending them there. Even if they wanted they may be powerless to actually redeem a soul and allow them to ascend to the Heavenly Realm. As it stands redemption may be just impossible with how the system functions - it seems to only judge either way at the moment of death (otherwise we'd expect Adam to have fallen for his behaviour).
Then there's the fear of falling. It seems that by questioning how things work you may just simply end up fallen. That fear may also consume Sera and, now the other Angel's are in the know about the Exterminations, that could spread.
My hope is Em doesn't fall and that she's able to organise political opposition to the exterminations by gathering like-minded Angels to her side (we saw them arguing during the song so a lot may be horrified by the revelation of what the Exorcists do). It would be cool if she and some allies (maybe even Molly) got involved in the extermination to try and halt the war before it goes too far.
Anyway my silly random thoughts aside - this was an amazing episode and "You didn't know" may be my favourite song yet (it's definitely up there!).

I think she's very much a bad person at her core...it's driven by fear and a sort of nationalist xenophobia rather than malice, but all the same. She's the kind of person that would look at genocide and say, well, it's the law, it must be just, and never question it the way emily does. Look at her last lines, she threatens emily because she's questioning that law, that order, she isn't interested in thinking about what's ethical or moral, just in following the established order, and is deeply threatened by anything that does raise questions (3 times she's challenged in that court scene, and all three times she tries to shut things down and reverts to what she believed at the start, regardless of the evidence.

Step 1. Get distracted by character design and miss that Sera introduces herself and Emily as Seraphim.
Step 2. Get distracted trying to figure out if Sera and Seraphim are connected somehow and miss that the Exterminations are supposed to be secret.
Step 3. THE REST OF HEAVEN DOESNT KNOW! 😮

I love the part of the song "You Didn't Know" that matches the beat of Adam's song Hell is Forever, it demonstrates how the ideas that Angels perpetuate are false.
The musical aspect of this show is freaking phenomenal!
everything about this episode was so incredible! ranging from the songs, the characters, to that incredible plot twist!
It actually makes sense that they don’t know what get someone into heaven. Lucifer created hell accidentally so it wasn’t part of their plan. So Sera saying there is no evidence of getting a demon into heaven actually makes sense since to them if Angel was redeemed he would just appear.
Not siding with Sera about the extermination stuff, but she wasn’t wrong about the redemption stuff.
It also makes me wonder WHO is passing judgment. We've seen nothing of any higher deity than the Seraphim; although the existence of St. Peter implies Jesus exists somewhere? But Sera says that "we know when a soul appears; we know when they pass Divine Judgment". WHO IS 'THEY'? Because if the highest order of Angels' job is literally to play babysitter and keep Heaven's souls safe and happy... who is acting above them? That's who Charlie needs to talk to.
@@saralovelace7219i feel like some unknown figure is watching them, through the eye imagery. I mean in hell there are a lot of eyes in walls and other inanimate objects, tho we got confirmation (i think) that sinners killed by angelic weapons 'respawn' as these eyes (like the one on alastors mic)
But maybe the tons of eye imagery in heaven, like at the gate, and the eyes even appearing on sera as emily started to question, could be someone watching their actions and making sure they dont question

Also I was thinking about this in terms of Sera and Emily... Angels don't have free will. Not the higher orders who are Created rather than dead humans. Classically, that complaint is one of the reasons Lucifer rebelled and Fell. So technically neither Sera nor Emily should have the Free Will to act against whomever 'they' are. Which explains Sera. And also that Emily may be a lot closer to Falling than we thought.

I love how Em, Sera, Lute, and Adam all represent different types of Christians. Em is the genuine Christian, the person who genuinely believe in the morals and lessons being taught. Sera is the fearful Christian, the person who was raised believing in damnation and eternal consequences for questioning those in higher positions than her. Lute is the hardened Christian, the person whose questioning was likely beaten out of her until she became just as stalwart and extreme as those who raised her. And then there's Adam, the person who knows that their morals and philosophies are bs but he's learned to take advantage of them to get what he wants. THIS is how you do the Heaven vs Hell themes with nuance!
well...Emily is somebody who is going to become an atheist, really. Because she's sees the hypocrisy on hand and how dramatically it conflicts with what they preach. When atheists joke about being better christians than christians, it's people like Emily, who believed in the ideals, only to be horrified to encounter people like Sera, who are the bulk of their leadership.
I was like Emily, and that's why I left, people like Adam, Lute and Sera were telling me who to hate, not who to love, and I wanted no part of it.

I like this. I agree that Emily is the archetypal "Good Christian". Sera definitely has a lot of fear, raised on fire and brimstone, but I also see elements of your "hardened Christian" in her; she doesn't question, just goes along with the higher-ups. Adam is, well, a MAGA Evangelical. He's a troll who uses religion to "own" people and "make the snowflakes cry". But his own actions have nothing to do with the actual tenets of Christianity.
Lute, I disagree on but only because I think she fits a lot better as a 'Christian' Zealot. A person fueled with Righteous Anger and Hatred for anything or anyone that doesn't match her own fervor. Think the European Crusaders in the Middle Ages, or something more akin to the Westboro Baptist Church nowadays. She legitimately believes everything she has been taught, to the point of being blind to any other possibility. And she believes that her faith gives her hatred legitimacy. Honestly, she both intrigues and feels more threatening to me than Adam does.

"This court finds no evidence that a soul can be redeemed" It is bullshit but I think many people miss it that the ruling was made because while Angeldust did do everything the people in heaven think it takes to get here..he did not suddenly appear in heaven in a flash of light. "Why isn't he here then?" Asks Adam rightfully. No one knows and seemingly controls who gets to heaven. The angels just welcome the souls who "got lucky" I guess and end up at the pearly gates. And so if Angeldusts acts nice in hell but does not appear in heaven..then CLEARLY there is no evidence that a soul can be redeemed. Sure it can be a kangaroo court but I think that was not the reason why the Sara made the ruling she did.
This, I feel a lot of people miss this they can't exactly decide whether a soul can get reedemed when they themselves don't even know what it takes to get into heaven and they aren't even the ones to judge people and place them in heaven or hell. Adam did have a good point.

How come Charlie didn’t figured this out herself, well I think (before the hotel) right after an extermination Charlie would go out to find sinners who were caught but were only injured, so after the extermination of 2014 she found Vaggie thinking she was a sinner who was caught but was lucky enough only to lose an eye explaining what Charlie was doing in that ally with bandages to begin with
So something to say, Adam says “next month” meaning 5 months have passed and this meeting took at least a month to even occur as last episode the date was still at months. Boy are we moving fast.
Something makes me wonder, Adam said he NAMED Vaggie. This can be two things, he gave her the nickname (then why would she still be using it down in hell) or she was made up in heaven to be a exterminator. If she was made, then what does that mean? Also the fact that she and Lute look very similar and not really like other people in heaven.
Just an FYI, if your planning on making an oc for HH I suggest matching it up with how your oc died as a human. Like if they drowned, give it more of a water appearance. If it got killed give it any design that was connected with the murder. If attacked by any animal, make it an animal :3 but u don't need too!! It's ur choice and ur oc

Sera is basically the rationale used to oppose immigration and ignore atrocities elsewhere in the world, the rationale used to promote isolationism. "We have problems at home, we can't worry about people on the other side of the world, and we can't let them in! what if we let the wrong people in and they bring their problems with them!" You know, conservative xenophobic bs like that.

Interesting thing to note is that when Sera says "We know when a soul arrives", not "We know why that soul arrives"
They apparently need to pass "Divine Judgement", so if anything Charlie should go find out who's passing this Divine Judgement and stick it to 'em
I really love the perspective this episode has on using heaven and Adam as different aspects of Christianity.
As a Christian myself, a lot of what people assume Christian are like irl has to do toxic Christians, very controlling, very biased, very discriminating. In reality, those are just stand out more. In reality, most Christians are like Emily, kind, caring, and accepting. I love how they show that not all people in heaven are like Adam, as only a few people know about the exterminations and are surprise when they find out.
The one thing I love though, was just calling out the hypocrisy of toxic Christian. The whole thing about no one really knowing what gets you to heaven, Because no good deeds can make you get to heaven when you're alive.
God loves and cares for everyone so much that he died and he just wants us to do better and improve. Ironically what Charlie is just trying to do. So when a toxic Christian, discriminates, belittles, and sins themselves against other sinners, but says it's different for them because they are Christians and perfect. They are straight hypocrites. Judgementalism and favoritism are both sins.
"He without sin cast the first stone" we've all sinned, and thanks to God we don't die from it, it's what we do to improve ourselves and others that makes us good people, and it's all that God wants. Definitely really love this episode

I believe that what makes a soul worthy of heaven is to simply be as good as you can be by doing your best to obey the Ten Commandments, fallow the seven virtues, resist the seven vices, and fallow the teachings and example of Jesus by showing righteousness to others and to have faith that God only wants us to be safe and happy and only ask in return is our love for him and each other just like any good father would want for and from his children
And yes this is my belief for both within the show and real life, mostly real life
Everything you said was perfect! As a Christian trust me I know I ain't perfect and I've done stuff that I'm sure that God would be shaking his head in frustration but he's a loving and accepting God. Many people in this religion are just too much for me for that judgemental shit and one of the reason I stopped going to church. Treating people who aren't like us differently and attacking those part of the LGBT community because it's sinful, discrimination is like another form of racism. I could care less if you are bi, gay, or trans I'll still treat you as God intended. Love the sinner, hate the sin was how it usually is but now it's hate the sin and sinner....nah fuck that. I'm a Christian too and this series does an amazing depiction of a lot of what toxic christians believe and shows why it is faulty. Viv uses these beliefs to be the ultimate conflicts in this series. Beliefs such as "I can do whatever I want without consequences because I'm saved" which is a very dangerous mindset to have and we see that in Adam and Lute. This series shows through Sera and Emily, the issues of church leaders controlling members by discouraging them from questioning anything taught to them by using mentally abusive controlling methods like the fear of hell to scare everyone to just blindly believing and accepting everything as truth. A very messed up reality for some people, I see the worst cases for Jehovah witnesses.
And it also really dunks on cancel culture's logic big time. The idea that people can't grow to be a better person after previously making bad decisions.
There is so much to really unpack in this series that I'm not mentioning because this comment will be too long but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

I mightt get hated for this, but I don't think Sera is some kind of big bad here, I think it's clearly an institutional problem and Sera was geniunely worried about Emily falling, sounds like to me that the moment an angel starts to question they get kicked out, like Lucifer or straight up mutilated in Vaggie's case. Wouldn't be suprised if Sera ended up being a victim of the system too

She outright said that she wouldn't have agreed to the exterminations, if she thought it would bring trouble to Heaven; it bothers her, but she believes she's doing a wrong thing for a right reason.
Not to mention, much like every other angel, she doesn't know the truth behind souls ascension/falling and is wary of trying to figure it out, lest it disrupt/break the system they're upholding (maybe partly for power, we don't know, but also definitely for livelihood; her, and perhaps all those in Heaven, could fall if they take a wrong step, which given the unknowns is a reasonable risk to worry about in her shoes).
So unlike Adam, who's doing it for kicks, Sera is at least understandable

ehh...i think sera is meant to be an enabler, the kind of bigot that encourages evil, while doing nothing themselves so they can pretend they are innocent. She's not bad in the same way lute and adam are, but she's almost as bad in a different way.
Also...as the high seraph she's literally at the top. If it's an institutional problem it's HER institution. Obviously god is above her if it exists in the vivzie universe, but that's pretty much it. Sera is in charge here, so she can't be absolved of responsibility.

Also, according to Charlie, it's not like the Exorcist's just cam down and started killing. They talked to Lucifer first who gave them the green life. And we know that Lucifer doesn't care for the sinners, only allowing Charlie to go to heaven for her own good.

Seraphim are one of the highest classes of Angels (and the type that Lucifer is). They say that Sera and Emily are Seraphim when they're introduced (though they say it wrong when they talk about themselves since they should be saying Seraph when they're talking about just one of them).
I feel like the meaning of "The court finds there is no proof human souls can be redeemed" more is about the fact that there is no proof they can go to HEAVEN, because they all have no clue what gets you into heaven, and Angel Dust looked like he deserved heaven, but he wasn't there, so thus that must mean demons cannot be redeemed. Sure, they can improve, but there is yet to be proof of actual redemption in terms of going to heaven.

In terms of plot this episode is the juicest cake we have in season 1 so far. Finally getting an extensive look into heaven rather than a preview jpeg from helluva boss, learning about the intercomplexeties of heavens political system, and watching Angel develop by keeping Nifty outta (too much) trouble was all amazing. Sirpentious is always great too
I love that whenever Adam or Lute are singing the other is in the background acting as a hypeman for them.

I think the masks are meant to emulate executioner masks, with a big part of it being anonymizing the killer, and given the secret nature of the purges, it's probably so individual angels can't be identified. There is also a fairly plausible theory that the exterminators are primarily not human/angels but are some other artificial beings, with only the leadership/commanders being living beings (remember the somewhat mechanical looking gold angels near the end of the second song in episode 1)
There's some symbolism in the masks as well. One eye crossed our - "turning a blind eye". The stitching across the mouth - their silence on the Exterminations. The horns - their evil behavior.
Nice lil hint with Vaggie being an angel was in episode one. When Charlie bolts out the door and starts her song. Vaggie covers her nose. So far only Angels seemed grossed out just being in hell. Even Charlie briefly with the "if you don't mind the smell.." lyric. So Hell probably reeks for Angels.
She doesn't cover her nose like it smells bad. She's pinching the bridge of her nose like people do when they're exasperated.

I think the masks having a missing eye is a reference to ’an eye for an eye’ which could provide some insight into the mentality of Adam and the other exorcists.
yeah, probably a mix of that and the classic executioner masks, meant to hide the identity and emotion of the killer (coupled with a scary face to unnerve their victims a bit, like the skull-ish design of stormtrooper masks)
I think angel dust couldn't go to heaven because his soul is being held captive by Valentino. So in Order to go to heaven he must free himself from this contract.

Sera only approved of them because she felt that something had to be done about Hell's overpopulation and the fear of them uprising, though Lucifer was able to work out a deal with her so that the Exorcists can only kill Sinners, leaving Charlie and Hellborns alone

If u didn’t notice Emily’s clothes and halo change into eyes when she get mad bc seraphims are angels with many eye but I think hazbin changed it to a more appropriate form but left that but in to symbolize it
Somthing i think people should consider with cheri is that 'redemption' is such an impossible concept for sinners. She KNOWS that drugs and promiscuity numb the pain so thats what she offers her hurting friend. Things she knows gets results.
One thing to keep in mind from this episode is that the conversation between Sera and Adam says that ADAM was the one who suggested the extermination. He probably lied to Sera about the uprising and Sera, with her whole heart, believes that Hell was uprising because Adam said so and doesn't even believe that he could possibly lie. I don't blame her at all for believing him.
Also possible is that someone lied to Adam about it. I've seen a couple theories running around about who started the rumor that Hell was planning an uprising....

I think you're the first person I watched that mention how anime Sir Pentious was when he noticed Cherri there lol. Overall I loved this episode. Probably my new favourite tbh. Emily is already my new favourite character. And I love that Heaven turned out to be a bit different than we expected. It's still got plenty of uptight people, but also plenty of nice and normal people as well. And the revelation that most angels didn't even know about the exterminations, and that they were horrified when they did find out was nice. Also Charlie and Emily singing together is my favourite moment in the show so far. I love a good callback, especially when it doubles as a callout.
When the Revealed happened, my eyes were getting Misty because I was scared when Charlie would learn 😞

I know it's just a minor detail, but I like how this episode gives a lot more weight to Valentino's rage back in episode 2. Angel Dust moving out of the studio in fact was a big deal, since before he had to follow Valentino's orders 24/7..
Also in a very, very twisted way Serra was right - if noone knows what gets a soul into heaven, of course the angels can't see any proof of the Hotel working. Charlie had no chance from the start - which we all expected to be fair, but for completely different reasons.

Vivzie mentioned on an episode of the HunieCast that Cherry was always Australian, but none of her lines in the pilot really let it be emphasized much, so you have to really listen closely to hear it. When Krystal appeared on the HunieCast and did Cherry's voice it was much more apparent.
Vaggie's situation brings up two questions: why is sparing a child a crime worthy of being cast out of Heaven, and more importantly, why are _children_ going to Hell?
Something that occurred to me after watching the episode was that by deciding to attack the Hotel first, it's not just Adam being a petty vindictive dick, they're destroying the evidence.
kids can go to hell... When i was a kid, I got bullied by some and also saw some kids who straight up tried killing animals....... They dont have any remorse. BUT I'm not saying what Vaggie did was wrong. It was obvious cause she's an angel and felt bad for a child.
My craziest moment?
The fact that Sera denied Charlie's request despite the evidence being put right in front of their f***ng faces.

All they saw was a sinner who had improved... good, but if he hasn't been redeemed (by the standards that no one actually knows about, mind), then it's not the same thing. And my guess is that Adam's rules (which we can clearly tell he literally doesn't know himself so he try to excuse with three rules) is not a concert proof of Redemption and that's why Angel aren't getting into Heaven.
Because Adam's created a false rules which it's not even come close to Redemption, it just proves that Sinners can be improved.

I have a theory, that Angel dust is gonna die during the next extermination, BUT! Since he’s improved and is better now… I think the act of death is what opens up the soul transferring process so he’s gonna end up in heaven with his sister Molly but the people in hell like Charlie don’t know he moved to heaven so that’s why we get a shot of her crying in front of angel’s door…

I used to be Emily. Raised in a Christian fundamentalist cult and sheltered from all the "sinners" my entire childhood. I started getting flack for questioning things because it was hypocrisy.
How could a "saint" be forgiven for murder, but someone who didn't believe but was a good person would burn in hell forever? "If Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie; if angels can do whatever and remain in the sky, the rules are shades of gray when you don't do as you say, when you make the wretched suffer just to kill them again."
I couldn't stand by that and I eventually left their "heaven."
I also used to be Emily in the sense that Emily is actually my dead name.

For the animal theme I got the idea that heaven and hell are actually just 2 sides of the same coin. Not really much different at all. Just that heaven has angels to keep order, where as hell is more chaos. but no one is forcing the torture and bad things in hell. Hence why no one knows how people get into heaven.
For Cherri I got the feeling she didn't know Angel was happy at the hotel and has changed so much, she only knew he use to complain about the hotel and when sending depressing texts she saw he needed an escape. A good friend trying to help in how they did it in the old ways, just not knowing the change.
Emily is totally the best in heaven. With the line of her ending up like Lucifer it feels like a threat. It also cements more that Lucifer was innocent when he was punished and the betrayal he suffered breaking him makes more sense. I fear she will become a fallen angel, but I actually would welcome her. She is like a sister to Lucifer since he is a seraphim too.
I am freaking out and going nuts waiting till thurs night for the finale. I need it now so bad!

Emily became my favorite character for the sole fact that she has her place in heaven, and yet she isn’t afraid to risk it by speaking her mind. The fact that someone in heaven is with Charlie is a much needed ray of hope… I would be sad if she did end up fallen though 😢

I feel like the next episode is going to be focused on Charlie and Vaggie addressing the big reveal. Whether or not Charlie could tell if she was an angel or not, I think there's still some clearing of the air that's needed before the finale
Also, I have a suspicion that Emily's going to try and sneak into Hell, just to get a look for herself, and that there may be some...consequences for her that take place in the finale. Just be careful about getting attached to her
One of the reasons I think the reveal will weight more in Vaggie's mind than on Charlie's is the fact that both her parents (i.e. Lucifer and Lilith) were heavenly beings before, I think Vaggie is going to be the one feeling bad for omitting that part of her life to Charlie 😭, but even then I don't see Charlie as a "why didn't you tell me!! I can't believe you anymore" I think she will be like "all of that is in the past, what matters is what you are doing now, what WE are doing now... Something something...." 💕

when we learn who Vaggie used to be it was done really well. I wasn't a hundred percent sure but I was sure she wasn't from hell or died and ended up in hell. characters who are born in hell have a different design and characters who die and end up in hell have more of a unique design. Vaggie looked too human- like Lucifer and Charlie.
Morgan was right too, we did have an established backstory for vaggie that claimed she died quite recently. And while it's possible she died, went to heaven and became an executioner there are two problems with that
firstly, in christian mythology angels are explicitly not human, just as there is the distinction between hellborn demons like charlie with dead human sinners like angel dust, there is a distinction between the human souls in heaven and the angels (in the mythology the apple itself if the major distinction, humans have free will, angels do not) At this point it's pretty clear that's not the way it works in the helluva/hazbin universe. But it was a reason to think she wasn't an angel.
secondly, though it hasn't really come up in the context of sin in the show, presumably heaven is homophobic (lute clearly is) so vaggie being a lesbian and an angel would have been a problem, if she'd not been arbitrarily denied at the pearly gates in the first place for who she loved in life, but maybe she didn't discover that part of herself till she met charlie, hard to say.
it'll be interesting to see if we find out anything more next episode, but hopefully charlie sees her as an example of redemption in the reverse, and her love for vaggie allows her to accept her angelic past.

Im pretty sure Vaggie was never human. It was stated awhile ago Exterminators were a breed of angel specifically made to go to hell which would mean Vaggie was made in heaven. Adam also says he named her so I doubt she's keep that name if she had a human one
