    Fusions are the most time consuming part of the game. Takes forever to finish dungeon divers!

      It's always DD that takes most resources other than the summoning events... I really hate it, I try to skip any if I can and it gives such a breather

    I went casual from a 400k CvC requirement clan to no requirements. I'm so much happier. Some days I don't even log in, it's an amazing feeling like escaping a prison you've been trapped in for years.

      Literally. A casual 2.5 hours a day player will have spent 38 days in a year, in the game. That's bonkers.

      when cb started to feel like a job….I saved up gems for awhile, opened my own 1 person clan, bought a bunch of cb keys, solo opened it up to UNM and locked the door behind me. I agree, it’s very freeing 😂

      Still in clan but we have only 50k req for personal cvc so say once a month, now skipping pretty much any plarium event last two months play what I want, run some keys, cursed dt clan boss. Done that few times stopping doing anything plarium throws at you, guess what nothing happens. Have bunch of good Leggos waiting to max and also nothing happens if not done now

    The Ironic part is with all the pop-ups and red dots, they still haven't made a red dot for when teh clan shop/quests appear, often I forget about them for a day or two.

      I assume you mean when they reset so you can again do a set of them?
      Maybe make it a green dot, at least we get to look at something different for a change.

    Hydra keys should be removed from advanced daily quest. For anyone who doesn't have much time during the weekdays this builds so much resentment when you need to decide between taking an hour+ to run a Hydra key or skip out on rewards.

      I seem to ALWAYS get this quest during CvC and fusions. I think I went two weeks straight one time outside of these where I didn't get it.
      Be nice even if we could just reroll this quest to something else it rotates with, which would be the clan boss damage one, survive for (cannot remember exactly the #) 28 turns against the clan boss, the clan boss debuffs one, or the use a rare in clan boss quest.
      Getting this Hydra quest during a CvC or fusion is a big pain in the ass.

      Yeah it should get moved to the weekly quests. "Use 2-keys on Hydra" but let me choose when I want to do this, its counterprodutive with Hydra Clash, when you want to score as much as you can, I can manual one key for 2 hours :D

      Yeah this Quest annoys me extremely. Most of the times it pops up when I've got no time for Hydra. I've got different timeslots during the week which defenitly not in weekends. I would Like If Plarium could remove this quest.

      I'm lucky enough to have 3 solid Hydra teams in just under 2 years of playing. I just run each team on full auto while I'm busy with work. I'll end up around a billion, give or take a bit, for Hydra Clash.

      Skip out on the rewards. A long time ago I learned that trying to complete all of these daily quests was the biggest relief ever. 1 sacred a month is nothing worth 30 days of all the stupid shit they make you do. All easy but requires checking on what dumb combination of heros I need to use where.

    Anything with a key should be one run use all keys.
    Faction wars, Doom Tower, Iron Twins, etc.
    I will run it every day, but please don't make me run doom tower boss over and over and over for a boss I have been killing every day for years.
    One run, use all keys, please. Just get it done.
    Will keep running dungeons with super raids, but anything with a key - One run, use all keys, make it happen.

    For us unskilled players, team building is not even a thing we (I) can comprehend so my teams take time. Clan boss takes a fair time for me as I have to 4 key UNM. The game takes up too much of my time as it is. I try to complete my daily and because I don't want to lose my arena standing, I have to do arena daily, a number of times. If it wasn't for all the work it took to get to Gold 5, I would take days off Raid. Summer is here and I want to enjoy it.

      I agree.
      For the dailies, I often drag my feet on the five classic arena battles. Sometimes, I think I did everything and then realize too late that I didn't do or finish those battles.
      The new content is different, though.
      When you solo stuff, you make the decision. Do it or not do it.
      But when you're in a group, you now have group dynamics. I'm not in a hard-core clan, but I do make the effort for CvC.

      That is the healthiest way to play a game. Reserved the fun for moments when you want to play more. I quit the game for one and a half year and playing now for a year again. Mindset change was needed because i burned out on it.

      Agree, easier to get there, but Amius easy is not much easier then the hard. At least give the remnant fragments, still it is like 3 years to get enough to get a mythical guaranteed.

      This current rotation is clear cut proof that Amius needs a second look. Spent 10 mins on hard because optimal champs, while easy mode took over an hour because after 3 years playing I still dont have a decent roster for this rotation (RNG sucks) and eventually just found a comp to wittle down with hp burn and low level brimstone. I have clanmates that specifically avoid amius now because of their roster.

    Time is a huge problem in Raid. I think HH's estimations were very much on the low end. There are so many ways they could improve the time commitment.

      I couldn't agree more. I spend a completely unreasonable amount of time daily. I get most of my content finished. But, in between that, I'm watching vids, building teams, then grinding more to progress. The big thing is Campaign. Why I should have to have an actual run every time is just stupid. I should be able to select food and amt of energy and have it be instant. Also, need auto sell. Also need auto upgrade selected gear. There's a ton that COULD be done from a company that DOESN'T respect our time. AND if you want to keep up with a second game.......SOL!!!

      I thought so too. I also think the time to clear any level of whatever where greatly underestimated.
      I can still remember the times where a stage of spider took 10 minutes on A RUN.
      He's working under the assumption teams would be "properly" matched for great efficiency, but that is more often than not the case so runs take longer.

    My biggest issue with TagTeam is that they had locked so much content behind a hard wall with the Ramantu missions and it is because of locking the entire Gold tier into a player percentage instead of just a straight level to attain. If you look at the percentage of players that are in gold against the estimates of the number of monthly players, the percentage is ridiculously miniscule. It is also probably the most difficult area in the game (aside from maybe live arena) to actually build and develop your account to move ahead. Even the hardest areas of PVE content you have some feeling that eventually you will be able to beat it even if you are F2P/Casual player.

      I'd be curious to find out the percentage of people who have given up on Missions all together because of the TT requirements. I'd bet it's pretty high. I know I've been playing for over 5 years and I still haven't been able to make it to Silver IV, let alone Gold level. There's so much time commitment to doing the never-ending stream of Fragment/Fusion and Special events that there's no energy, silver, OR time left for team building.

      The instances of unlocking some great hall bonus there is also rediculous to a point where I'm not even interested anymore.

    Time in game also depends on what device you play on... unlimited frame rate on a PC is nearly twice as fast on long battles like Clan Boss, than a mobile running at 30 fps.

    Some of your estimates are way off. Assuming that each hydra key works first time. With resets Hydra takes an average of 4-6 hours if you want decent to good dmg.

    Quick battles for many of the daily grinds are a great idea. I simply dont do everything, every week. its disappointing, but i dont have time.

      At first this sounded extreme to me, but after I thought about it, I kinda like the idea. Like, once you've established a farm team, with a certain time range, the game lets you auto farm that during the day at that time interval while you are free to do other stuff. That would be amazing!

      I completely agree. If I could start a hydra run, which may take 45+ minutes and then go work on building champs, it would be great. I also farm my masteries, so I will start a multi-battle situation and then just let it run. Depending on how much energy I have saved, this series of battles may take 3-4 hrs. What I have started doing is I play on my laptop and start the farming battles and then let them run while at work.

    The big problem of TTA and early game arena is the fact that people are way lower than they should. It's not normal to face incredibly hard teams on low level arena just because people don't care. You shouldn't face Michael Jordan in high school basketball match.

    Completing great hall you still have to do arena. You need bars for crafting, if you are not crafting every cvc you are missing out on points and gear.

    Also with the nerf to SD, they increased the requirement in tournament more than the nerf making it taking longer for same reward. They want us to spend the same resources (or more even) with no consideration that it also takes longer time. Just look at DD too

    Hydra clash is the one that's really burning me out. I would be satisfied with an improved AI preset for Hydra (target heads with devoured champ, use provoke on Decay etc).

    i'm in end game (top 100 live, pushing plat etc)
    what i've found takes the most time is manually or semi-manusally Hydra for hydra Clan - THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE
    other places i feel like the arena bonuses from live area have helped to reduce the time drastically

    I would love to see Tag Team Arena be a genuine Tag Team. Put your three teams up in order you want them to arrive. If your first team is defeated, your second team comes in to pick up the fight where they left off. Have rewards vary based on how many of your teams were needed to win the fight. Surely something could be better than 3 arena fights back to back. Ho Hum.

    We need Quick Battles in Doom Tower, Tag Team Arena, Faction Wars and maybe Hydra.
    In general Tag Team Arena needs a change.

      More than anything PvP needs to rebalance ALL champs to make it interesting and fair. There shouldn't be 20 Must-Haves and everyone else can lose.
      Instant would take the pain away.

    The problem is that the rescources are so scarce, so you 'have' to do the dailies and that leave no room to actually play the game and building team. So it instead of enjoying build new eg. arena eams, it just to get over with it

      You don't have to do the dailies. Learned a long time ago this isn't needed and I still do fusions. This is what got me from thinking about quitting to not by just not caring if I do the dailies.

      @@aelinstue9431 Well, you don't have to do anything if you do want to. The issue I think OP means is that: if you want to maximize the things the game "gives" you, you have to engage with all the various bits of content to help increase your stockpile of "thing"
      You can't really say: 'I'm not ever doing Arena', because then you lose out on valuable energy and magisteel, thus can't craft sets. Not having decent perception will hinder progression etc etc.
      Same thing with dungeons: Not playing dungeon makes you not get gear, no gear no good champs etc etc (not to mention points towards fusions.
      Or Clan Boss, or, or, or.
      And I think he has a point. Raid hides needed stuff behind content "forcing" you to have to play it if you want to improve on something. And since whatever you do, your resources on a daily basis are limited to only do said thing a few times and then its just 'blocked'.

      I'm not exactly sure what you mean here.
      They DO tell you servers will temporarily be down 30 minutes in advance and then onn several more instances. If you have raid running while not paying attention to that, then that is a result of how raid is often times "played" and I dont like using the word 'played' in this context before running something in the background isn't playing the game.
      If you mean, the pop-up blocks the game from continuing... Well, I would agree with that the message may automatically be removed after a short while.

    With ALL the new things to do.. We would need instant battles for DT in the future when you completed this rotation once.. we need auto complete with other stuff too since they give us huge updates.. no time for all that.. but it took what 4 years or smt before we got Quick battle on Clan boss?....
    But before the quick battle on Clan boss.. my clan boss fights took +20 minutes for each key.. that was insane.. Or regular arena should be auto complete.. i want auto complete for 3v3 but thats just gonna be bad i guess.. its hard.. but we do need more auto complete stuff on someeething

      They won't do quick battles in DT ever, because they want ppl to make their teams faster, for which they need better champs, gear etc, which means money for plarium. I remember back in the days where i tried to keep speeding it up, and the time and resources that this took. They want you to get to a point where it's super fast, which takes luck or money.
      I now do a double kymar/seer team all the way up the tower, so the waves go down super super fast all the way to the top (except for one or two waves where this comp simply doesn't work).
      They want you to see a team like mine, and then spend all the money in the world pulling shards till you can pull this off. It "only" took me like 3.5 years as a f2p to get this far.

    An idea i have for the devs to help us save time is adding the quick battle option at least to hydra. Its the longest fight in the game with some players spending even 2 hours on it just to end up using only 1/3 keys. And they could also add it to the potion keeps and minotaur, giving players more time to focus on all the rest of the content in the game. (I need to mention that it's very unlikely that they'll do this but if there's a lot of pressure from the community it's going to be possible)

      Problem with quick battles on hydra is without better AI most runs already at minimum require most people to click heads so without that it your damage would be so low.
      I would settle for at this point good enough AI and less RNG so I could just full auto and not click heads so I could at least have the time spent with just my phone running it while I do something else.

      Yeah I played Star Wars galaxy of hero’s a while back and when I first played Raid…”Okay they have auto battles, I guess I’ll burn up some of this energy real quick” *stares at phone screen as the game plays itself. I have a PC now but that mechanic stopped me from playing the game a few years ago, gotta love using my $3,000 dollar super computer to make a mobile game bearable

    Genre standards they need to get into the game Pronto:
    1) Blitz instead of Auto-Play (like the quick mode on clan boss, burn the energy and give me the loot) don't tie up my phone and make me sit through each fight.
    2) "Don't show again today" toggle on shop pop-ups. I can't overstate how much I hate it having to close the same pop ups over and over each session.

    I remember joining the game. The warning in the ad was. 'This game is addictive'.
    But in reality, it is much like life in that you will place your time where you see value. I spend a lot of time on the game because I pride myself as FTP so I need to spend the time to compete and I enjoy it. But also because I am aware of a simple psychological truth and certainly as men. The more time we invest in something, the more valuable we think it is.
    Be smart and reevaluate where your time is being spent. Is it on things that are truly valuable?
    Of course, downtime and doing things we enjoy is valuable. But so is our life...

    I love the idea of letting us use all of our doom tower keys in one battle. Would be great for other areas but since they cost energy, I can see Plarium being reluctant. If you set IT to use 6 keys and you get a 3% failure, that's a 120 energy gone.
    I'm playing two accounts. My 22 month account that is late game and my 2024 FTP account that is level 53 and has not had any lucky good legendary pulls (so no carry champs). I also get to sit on the game all day while I work, which is the only reason I play the second account. I added up the amount of time I play the game on these tasks on an average day, although I usually play much more since I have chances to fiddle around. For the FTP, it is 180 to 335 minutes, depending on whether I do live arena and how involved the events are. My late game account is 300 to 430 minutes, in large part due to doing more than 3 hydra runs a week in order to get better results and/or try different teams. I spend about 45 minutes on arena and 3x3 per account with having to refresh multiple times a day, and live arena takes about 45 minutes.
    Time savings I'd like to see:
    * Lower turn (not time) limit on hydra. I'd say from 1500 to 500 turns.
    * We've all said it a million times: super raids in potion keeps and minotaur. Also, higher stages.
    * Fewer 3v3 tokens.
    * Accumulate unused arena Refreshes so we aren't incentivized to stay on all day. (Not that we have to, but...) Probably not at a 1 to 1 ratio of missed refreshes to saved refreshes but give the people who can't be on all the time a chance to get through arena.
    * Reduce the timers for picking champs in Live Arena.
    * Also in Live Arena, either player forfeits if they time out twice in a match, including during picking and battling. I actually love this game mode but inattentive players and purposeful stallers really detract from it.
    Finally, I have to give Plarium props for putting quick battle into Clan Boss! How much time has that saved us since then?

    The biggest problem with 3x3 is the freaking Marius mission to get in to gold 1. The fact that it's capped is so frustrating. As a player that spends 100% of my time in Gold V with complete ease in classic arena, Gold I shouldn't be so hard but it truly is. I've made it once before I realized the mission wasn't retroactive (which is stupid on another level). But now have to make it again and it really is time consuming. I don't spend $ on the game anymore, and I'm over 14m power but making it back to Gold I seems impossible.

    some of the estimates wildly vary. FW can take 15-20 minutes per super raid (x2) on slow tanky factions.
    Live arena you can get stuck in a 10-15 minute match if the opponent griefs and uses the entire playclock for each pick and turn

    Seeing this only makes me more happy for having quit the game. It wasn't because of the time sync for me at the time, but it has definitely been a blessing after I ended. And the fact that some of these things have to be done throughout the day only add to the fatigue.
    I also want to mention that there were times when I had to do fire knight and my team wasn't the best, so I had to do 6 minute runs for 36 energy or what it was on level 20. That would mean 2 hours instead of 1 just for dungeons. Sure, having the auto element to the game means you don't have to play every minute of it, but it can easily go up to 8-10 hours per day of the game running for you doing stuff and you needing to check on it and make some more decisions. Completely unhealthy.

    The biggest problem I see with raid, is that because half of everything is locked behind a set amount of keys, you're forced to come back on a daily.
    Spending some time to clear a part of the game with 2, 3, 8 or 10 keys by itself can be relatively quick. but not every day is the same and I may not be able to login in the next day, or de day after... or or. BUT I might have a free day come around where I want (and can) sit down for a full day playing, but then I run into restriction after restriction and can't play to what I like, and then the game forces me away.
    So for me: I wish Raid didn't push so hard on having all these restrictions in, and just let me play damnit.

    For Hydra time, most of our clan can spend 4-6 hrs a week on 3 keys and I think that's pretty common when you're getting 10 billion plus per account each week. From everyone I've talked to, that seems pretty common. It's extreme but it was closer to 6 before I had stable teams that didn't risk death without a revive

    We lost a player just yesterday because of how intensive the game is. Its not just playing the game, its tracking what you do, making notes of your next priority or upgrade, looking at web and UA-cam content to learn about combinations and having dialogue with hour clan, you can literally spend all your waking hours progressing and doing your dailies to keep moving forward.
    I played clash of clans years ago and clan wars was a great feature but super intensive. Though siege is less periodic, it will take a lot of collaboration and there will be a learning curve in the first few cycles.
    So if they want to add game modes, they have to remove other modes or make them very swift. So my thoughts...
    Scrap 3v3, don't reinvent it.
    Campaign battles, super raids, or even higher. Consider even 3x.
    Potions keeps and mino, super raids.
    Generally in any battle, instead of x2 speed, x4 it. At least then you can get through a long auto battle much quicker.
    Hydra... I'm starting to hit 600-700m across 3 keys and its taking me an hour 20 on normal til the turn meter kicks in. It either needs a time limit or a much lower turn limit. How about 500 turns and see what impact that has and consider reworking tier rewards.
    But the nutshell is, if raid don't make this game less time intensive, they will lose a lot of players. Playing 6-8hrs a day plus strategising and in team communicating, its just not sustainable.

    I completely agree with lowering time; however, this seems to go against Plarium's model where they want to have you in game more often to see the "benefit" of buying to short cut areas and giving you more exposure to all of the "pop-up sales".

      I wouldn't have a problem with spending a day playing this game on a saturday and/or sunday. Or any amount of time on a free day where I'd like to sit down. What I don't like from my perspective, is that if I maximize the resources I have accumulated over the 'previous day' I CANT sit dow and play catchup on the previous days where I didn't have time. I can only do 2 to 4 runs on CB (depending on the clock) and then the keys are spent. I can only play 8 runs on city and then the keys are gone. I can only do an X-amount of level on campaign, dungeon etc etc and then energy is gone. I can only regear half a champion (maybe) and then silver is ONCE AGAIN gone. I couldn't play a full day's worth of raid should I plan to free my time. for it. Rather the game want me to come back on a daily and spend a few minutes quickly setting up an autorun and then do other stuff....
      To me, the dynamic of this game in how and when it want you 'present' makes no sense. The time you're 'expected' is more boring than anything else, but it want me to come back every few time... which I simply can't.

    Agree. I already stopped playing actively because Raid takes too much time: setting time limit 1 or 2 hours a day (depends if CvC or special events).

    I live in Myrtle Beach, SC so server resets at 8pm. I usually get home from work around 7pm. If I don't immediately get on RSL when I get home then I do not finish my dailies. I usually have to hold on to my two keys during that hour because the time it would take to use them would make it so I couldn't finish my dailies. So I don't get 4 keys very often. The two most time intensive things on the list are easily the Doom Tower room climb and the arena. The arena can be quick but I never get 5 wins without a refresh so you have to factor in an extra 15 mins for the refresh. That being said I usually get it all done with 10-15 mins to spare but I often have times when I get distracted with real life things and cannot finish in time.
    To counter your argument about quick battles taking away from the game. I would argue that playing the game is more about building the teams. Running them in the simulation is just a method to test your team. Once you have a working team then you no longer need to test them. Almost every player at this point is just going to click on auto and walk away. There is no logical argument that could be made not to have an auto-battle mode. If I'm choosing between a 2-10 minute autobattle or an instand autobattle then I'm going to choose the instant..

    Hades, I'm a f2p mid game player and these are some issues about time:
    -doom tower climbing - I didn't finish every rotation on hard mode, but Armanz is helping me finish it. My auto control team takes about 5-6 minutes a floor. (some double tormin floors may be 10-12 minutes) On this rotation I cleared all the floors but I still have to auto climb for like an hour to hour and a half (inclueding boss fights)
    - I didn't finish faction wars. Some stages take so much time because I don't have amazing nukers, I'm trying to farm with vogoth or something. Because of this I have to farm lower levels because of time.
    -You forget about damn ramantu missions. I have to climb silver II for ramantu missions and I don't have the champions or 300 speed with stoneskin. Some opponents have like 1.4m power teams power with 12 mythicals, in silver I for god sake. I'm tired of refreshing every 15 minutes. Also I have to climb gold I eventually, that scares me the most.
    -Don't care about sintranos just yet,
    -Don't care about live arena just yet,
    -My hard dungeon teams take like 5 minutes (inclueding fire knight 25) because I don't have speed farm champions or amazing gear,
    -I'm trying to improve my hydra team. Sometimes in the minute 35 or something fear head spawns the absolute worst time and my champions constantly get %50 proc and lose. So I have to restart all over again. I don't have the best hydra champions but with average rng I get what I want.
    -Thanks to wixwell I don't have a clan boss problem right now :) but before him it was brutal to give 40 minutes just for unm cb.
    I do enjoy the game for a lot of things. Just the required time is too much. Plarium can read this message and make adjustments, maybe :)

    I think objectively the most fun thing in this game is building a team and then watching it work/fail. I feel like we should be trying to create more time to do this and why I think Clan Boss is almost perfect at the minute. It is so satisfying to spend any amount of time making a team for Clan Boss and then watching it break dmg numbers you didn't think you could reach yet, but I don't need to sit here for 20 minutes each key watching it succeed again even though I know it is going to, which means the instant battle is perfect, if it was implemented better. I use a team which isn't full auto from the start which means I can never use instant battle meaning I have to sit through 40 minutes of clan boss every day. If they changed instant battle so that my successful team cna be used instantly, then CB gets infinitely better. It's not like we will never have to sit through it again, if I ever want a different team, I will need to swap out champs and gear and then watch it to make sure the new setup works which is still fun, but there's no reason I should be spending 40 minutes a day on CB when I know the team works. Other areas of the game should be trying to reach this too so that we ultimately either have more free time or more time to build fun teams.

    when you get an unkillable CB Team which is not 1 key, you spend more then 1 hour each day for CB Ultranightmare. Quick Battle should be useable after you got the last box of CB with only 4 keys.

    What do you guys think about some kind of cooperative mode? This is still just another "place your champions in a roster, and someone comes along to fight them, with flavors of arena" , and live arena is versus. What if there was oh, say a 2 + 2 boss, or wave survival with 2 different players able to use 2 champs each. One could be focused on dmg, the other support, or some variation. Would be nice if clan focused, so we team up during certain times of the day, kind of like queeing for live arena, and then we can take on whatever the content is. It would encourage stronger communication and cooperation within the clans, especially motivating players to share strategies. They could even release champions focused around this type of mode, with special abilities when used on another teammate, or something. Increase champion chasing, and player retention.

    I have come and gone from Raid multiple times during the course of the last 3-4 years. It's always the same thing. Too much to do taking too much time, but getting a bad feeling of not playing optimally if I don't do all/most of the content. It's especially rough during events where I need to compete for top rewards and certain dungeons can take like 5 minutes on auto due to lacking the ideal team comps to make runs very fast.
    I made a new account literally 3 days ago. Having fun. And I'm worried that by level 50 or 60, I'll experience the same feelings I did before. I LOVE the game. There's a reason I keep coming back. But damn, it asks for so much on a daily/weekly basis. Technically you don't have to do everything, but I presume most people playing remotely seriously probably feel like me. It "feels bad" knowing you're not playing optimally. It "feels bad" to not get as many currencies as you could because you can't be assed to to the content (from tag PVP for example).

    Ok. My stats for reference.
    2 key UNM clan boss - 11 mins each = 22 min.
    Arena - 1-5 mins per battle depending = 10 - 30min
    Faction wars - 1.5 to 4 mins depending on faction and RNG for stage 20 = 6 -20 min
    3v3 - just doing the minimum 5 keys - 1-10 min depending on teams (yes, some people like to put in super tanky teams with no damage just to drag it out as long as possible) 5-25 mins and that's if you are not pushing to complete stupid missions for Ramantu
    Sintranos, if I even have a chance, normal takes about a min per battle, hard takes about 2 min. Obviously not counting bosses that can easily take up to 50 min, such as scarab king, so 10-20 min minimum.
    We can say 20 min for the misc stuff such as upgrade artifacts, 7 campaign/ 3 boss runs, upgrade level in tavern, etc
    doom tower, team is not perfect but I do normal stages in about 2 minutes giver or take and hard at 2-5. Can't do all of doom hard on auto battles though so higher stages take longer. so another 20-40 min.
    The game does take a few hours. And that's not everything. I try to do all of this while I do other things but it actually slows some stuff down as there are some things I have to actually pay attention to. I didn't factor in Hydra runs that could take 10-20 min depending on how well I do and most of that is on manual since I don't have auto teams yet. Depending on the dungeon, I can do spider hard 6 at 15 sec. The other ones, I'm still at 2-4 min.
    I am also not a fan of PVP and I hate that PVE content is tied to it. I'm on considering walking away because I can't progress at all in 3v3, and I don't have the time or the desire to focus on major PVP teams even though I do have many good champs. And I'm tired of the massive RNG that will completely screw you when it feels like it.

    *because, it is so big, huge i mean, with the new daily content, to put champs in, to defense each towers, to capture each towers, but thats not all, the rewards there, i mean it will take years to complete and make good progress, so as it is at the moment, you cannot more play the normal raid game, dungeons, clanboss, hydra, etc if you planing to play the siege mode, because you cannot play both at the same time*
    *And thats the point, scratch means, plarium should change one big thing for that problem and remake the game option of raid, so that you are able to, for example you have currently a dungeon farming progress, or you play hydra, then it should be possible to minimize the window when you play, to be able then to login into the new siege mode to play the content there, without loosing your real progress in the main game, do u know? It would be much better, for all players, not only endgamers, also noobs, and midgamers!*
    *because, there are people, who work, who dont have a lot of time per day to play raid, if they play raid, they would newer be able to make any progress in the siege mode!
    Some people will therefore not play often the siege mode, and many other will not play often the base game, when they once start with the siege mode!*
    *The only solution for this problem is only the possibility to minimize the game window in raid without disconnecting from any raid content, and without abborting your dungeon or hydra fights and without loosing any progress in the game, to put the basic game and its fights in a realtime background window, when you Start the new siege mode!     *So as it is, and if nothing changes, the raid community will be splitted and seperated into 2 different groups!
    The one group will be players who play only siege mode, lots of hours per day, and the second group will be the players who dont play siege, but who play the normal game each day!*
    *it wont be good, if that happens! I think, there souldnt be 2 different raid communities, for 2 different games, the should be only one, the only one community, the raid community! And there shouldnt be 2 independent games or game modes, the should be only one game, the raid game, where you can play both modes without choosing and decideing which mode you wanna play, without loosing any of your progress when playing clan siege! For example, you play 2 weeks long clan siege, and in this 2 weeks, you didnt play dungeons, clanboss or hydra, nevertheless it should be possible not to fall back in your rank or levelprogress!*

    Great video, definitely needs to be said. For new/casual players there are a few activities missing from the list tho' - researching new (or older) champions best use/where, their "best" builds, levelling up, applying glyphs and so on ... these things take a LOT of time.

    Setting 1 run for the silver keys in DT would definitely help, and honestly, remove the silly tag missions from advanced dailies (kill a higher power, one faction, etc). Also, setting arena quests to be any of the 3 arenas. All of those would save time. Cause doing all 3 arena modes is very time-consuming. Give a generic reward from all of them that we can convert at whatever rate to the other currencies (magisteel, medals, bars etc)

    Clan siege will probably be on the sane model of marvel contest of champion. 1-2 days where you enter defensive teams and 1-2 days of attack that correspond to a few available battles a day. It looks on non CvC weeks schedule. ... so in the end it won't be that huge time sink... just a fun thing to do. Because how many auto battle dungeon runs do you want to do ...

    I feel like the question of how much time does a game require each day is a fair question from a game dev point of view, or if you have IRL stuff that means u can’t spend enough time to complete the FOMO content, but:
    From my perspective as a player of the game for a couple of years. I don’t find this question to relevant. Rather, I think about what I want to get, and what resources/tools I have available to get it. Sometimes I don’t have anything I want to get, and put the game down for a few days. Sometimes I have a champ I wanna build for improving a dungeon speed. Sometimes I want to do the fusion. Sometimes I want to do dailies and UNM for the monthly log in rewards and chance of sacreds. Sometimes I wanna sink 8hrs into the game coz I’m on holiday and I have time. I just pick a clan that can accomodate to my lifestyle, and play how I want. I’m glad there. Is enough fun content in this game to allow me to play how I want.

      @@Neuvillete4.6 When I first started the game, I missed a fusion because I had no idea about the fusion calendar, or point requirements etc. That sucked haha. But once I understood the game, and how fusions worked, it comes down to what I want. Do I want to spend my time playing the game to get the fusion champ, or do I want to spend my time doing IRL stuff so that I miss events. I don't tend to miss two events, because I'm meticulously checking how things are going, because I want the champ. Other times I don't want the champ, so don't check. I would argue, that if you want the champ, and you know how the game works, do the prep, and then don't miss events. This is how I've been playing for the last two years without spending money on getting fusions, and it's been fun!
      So I guess it would be more precise to preface my previous comment with "if you know how to play the game".

    I'm coming up on 5 months playing and I can see his point. However, it is a lot about what you make of it and how well you keep idle activity going. Truthfully I usually 'play' raid 90% in the background or on mobile while I either play something else, or work. RSLHelper is immensely helpful with this... without it I probably would have quit already.
    I've dialed it back quite a bit though. I tend to only focus on one area of the game at a time and just phone it in on the rest. Keeping a casual approach to the game is important to me.

    Quick battles or letting certain modes to be run in the background, like other games do and successfully. Many days I don't have the time just to get dailies done. When I do have the time I will sit and re-evaluate my teams and try to improve in a certain area. A lot of us don't play just one game, so any time savers is a plus!

    To be honest, the fusions and constant grindy events would definitely be something they could reconsider. Like fusions could be every other month and then the extra events just to keep us grinding could fill the empty month. This change could also make fusions more accessible for ALL players instead of hoarders and wallet champs!

    this week i spend about 7h of my time for hydra. i mean i like playing hydra a lot + i do love to play around with different team comps. but it is a lot time to play those keys if u want to min-max. beside playing these keys i have to swap my best gear around champions. one part i would love to see is that u are still able to build team setups even if u have played your 3 keys.

    Not even taking into account pulling shards, time in the tavern, time levelling artifacts (with early game considerably more than late game), time re-gearing/fitting room/ gear cleanse. There's easily an extra hour.

    Tag Team Arena needed fights reduced to one
    Change Champion AI for Hydra battles (f.e. provoker should attack the rigth head) and quick battle

    Well, UA-cam apparently doesn't like essays because my entire post was deleted. So I'm gonna do it again, luckily I had some of it still under copy/paste. I'll just make it generic and post it here, lets see if this will be allowed.I feel that Raid is currently a full schedule of stuff that "needs doing".
    Personally I think Raid needs the seriously restructure parts of their game and adress super-raids I think they should make multiple stages of super raids where each subsequent stage is a battle multiplier.
    - Super Raid is x2 battle, consumes double the energy and you get double the rewards.
    - Hyper Raid is x5 battle, consumes 5 times the energy and you get 5 times the rewards.
    - Giga Raid is x10... you get the picture.
    An alternative could be: "Crusade" do the max-energy equivalent of whatever amount of energy or keys you have in one run.
    Okay, I talked myself into this. Below follows a long an completely insane idea of how Raid could be restructured.
    First, the main focus area's could probably be condenced. View the below section (marked by bold) in the way how you view {campaign, dungeons, FW, Arena...} in the sliding windows.
    - First there is the *Campaign* (on normal level). You play through the campaign for the story. The rewards on the various campaign levels are unchanged compared to now. Campaign will ONLY exist in normal mode and the story can be reset so you can relive the story at a later time if you choose to. (the reset wil not re-enable the one-time rewards.)
    - After finishing at least the FIRST stage of the campaign, you'll unlock what I'll call the *Renewed-Dungeons* which include: Dragon, Ice Golem, Fireknight, The potion keeps and a new dungeon called: Exalted Mines, this dungeon pays out large amounts of silver, XP for champions and Magisteel. All these dungeons will have the cumulative super-raid effect capability as described above, where singular runs can yield great heaps of rewards per stage where you're at.
    - Then comes *Doomtowers* which It will not be a monthly rotation as now, but rather in the style of Mortal Kombat Towers where you can select every rotation as an option to spend your keys on each given day. A new rotation of doomtower could be manufactured that features Iron Twins, Sand Devil and Shogun. Obviously rewards would have to be rebalanced based on this new system.
    The goal for this is so you can freely choose what tower to focus on, based on which gear you have an interest for. Also, I'm inclined to say there will be no reset, you just fight at whatever stage you want. Another interesting addition could be that the inbetween levels pay out (un)common versions of the gear from the bosses they lead into. And also here: full key-consuption capability with a single run.
    - Then there is *Sintranos*. This content momentarily stays as it is (although I would prefer if each stage would have a continuous payout of something). or maybe merge thi with Faction wars where Lydia is Normal reward and Amius is Hard reward.
    - Lastly there's *Clan-Lands* which basically is the hub where you can fight the Demon Lord, Hydra or... I would however change this into a system where you have 5 keys and you can freely choose which clan boss you want to fight. Eager to go for Mithrala: dump all keys into Hydra (or however you may need) etc etc. All Clan Bosses will have "free regroup" AND quick battle after completing a stage on full auto for that stage.
    I'm not entirely sure what to do with Faction Wars. Personally I was thinking about maybe merging it with Sintranos where Lydia the Death Sire could be the ultimate reward for normal difficulty whereas the mythical is the reward for Hard (or higher?). The main aim here would primarily be to condence the various things you'd have to do for some arbitrary reward.
    It's far from perfect, and the change would be so significant it'll never hapen. but I see some possibilities that could make Raid more friendly in its use.

    agree I don't have time anymore to even build teams I just look up cc builds and copy. It use to be fun to try different ideas but now i'm to busy not missing a event of my fusion or ect. Hydra is a huge time sink now with clash. It runs me an easy 4 hours a week with reruns. Stuff like potion keeps and mino need to be rebuilt to somehow allow us not to spend much time. Iron twins should no longer require keys and just become an event in a fusion along with phantom and sand devil(allowing us extra options to the normal 4 dungeons) we just don't need the gear from some of them.

    I think, for me at least, the biggest thing I feel like is an awful time suck is constantly resetting or manualling Hydra to get a good enough key to help your clan. I spend at LEAST 10 hours a week on Hydra and that feels awful.

    Coming back to the game recently fully free to play I have found it really hard to maintain with the limited amount of resources. I made a clan boss team who just needed gear which ran me low on silver. Then I pulled 3 champs that are huge for my account 1 legendary and 2 epics and I only had enough books for one epic and then comes the amount of energy I have to spent to get masteries and 6 star them and fully ascend meanwhile a new fusion just dropped and there is a ton to throw my resources into with that. Overall a bit overwhelming for the lack of resources givin

    Been playing Watcher of Realms and got hooked. I just moved my monthly card subscription over there. Raid got to be like another job. I only play it now to help my guild with CB and Hydra. I do my dailies but have stopped doing advanced quests.

    This is exactly why i quited RSL 2 weeks ago, because of the time consuming and nothing done ingame to reduce that. Only x2 speed mode, with endless animations (and even more long with counter-attacks teams), no skip fight in any mode and more and more content that force you to stay more and more playing this game if you want to progress. I was at a point (before leaving) where i didn't do hydra anymore because it was the ultimate time consuming content. i was doing my dayly quest only, and i was playing a little more in CvC, just to help my guild. I was very disgusted in the repetition of the fusions too. And the false x15 x2 etc increase in summoning which, in fact, is nothing if you consider the number of heroes available that you can summon.

    if i play kinda seriously, i put 8-12 hours in a day.. but i DO use rsl which helps on some things, so while im not ACTIVELY playing all the time, it is using resources up, and i do have to check on it often and be active at certain points. and i dont do shogun, sand devil, live arena, twins... its a rediculous amount of work to be semi competant at the game. add to that constantly having to gear cleanse.. lol

    You mentioned team building a few times and I don't recall how much time you allocated for this but for me I can say easily triple it at minimum because I include farming/grinding for gear as the biggest part of team building and getting good gear seems to be getting harder and harder with the crappy RNG and drop rates. I still think at level/stage 20 and up they need to at least take rares out. Who in the hell that can farm 20 and up wants any rare gear... and only getting a handful of pieces with a speed substat in 100 runs is more than wrong.

    There is no way you can finish a live arena match in 3 minutes. Maybe 5 if your opponents all pick quickly, and nothing ever needs to time out.
    In the same way, for me right now, a Dungeon run at max capability takes approximately 5 minutes, so if I need to do 25 of them, that's over 2 hours.
    For Hydra the main problem I have is that there is an advanced quests that dictates when you need to do it. That quest should be removed, and that would be very helpful for many players.

    I've been playing for 3.5 years. I play for 3 hours each day easily. 1 hour in the morning, 2 hours after reset. That doesn't include going in and auto running dungeons. If I'm doing hydra, add on another hour. If I spent that time learning the stock market, I'd probably be rich enough to buy my way thru this game

    I'm old enough to remember when this was a fun mobile game and seemed like that's what it intended to be. Then they started chasing some sort of "player time in game" metric since it probably correlated to more spending, and it's spun out of control to this. Personally if I can't auto run some content in the background, I won't do it.

    For my account it was almost 2 hours for clan boss I had an unkillable team but needed set up so no auto. And sometimes I had to restart it after the 5th turn if maneater took the stun.

    What he means by quick battling CB, it's for established teams that haven't changed. For example, I was 2 keying NM for months. The team did not change other than slight gear adjustments. The damage was consistent, yet I had to sit there and watch it for 10-15 minutes EVEN THOUGH I knew I was gonna have to put in another key.
    That's what he's saying there. Obviously if we change the team, we're gonna wanna watch it a few times to see how it does. But, when you're not running a 1 key team, it's stupid to watch the same team you've used for months get their damage in.
    I agree with JGigs, I don't think people that can't 1 key should be gate kept from quick battle.
    As a 36 year old with a job, my reset is at 8pm during the summer. I will some times be up until 1AM playing this game depending on if there is a fusion or CvC going on. Typically on a normal day I'm on well passed 11PM. It's way more suitable in the winter when my reset is at 7PM. Even still, I've sat on the game passed 12AM a lot of days when my reset is that hour earlier.

    I think instant battles of all the keys in DT and FW will free up lots of time. Both are older content that most people don't try to min/max anymore. This will easily free up 30m for the average player.
    Sintranos and Amius are less of a time issue but rather difficulty and RNG issue. The reason Amius can take you hours is because most teams relay heavily on brimestone RNG and not getting destroyed by the boss in a single blow... I think balancing the boss and some stages (to not relay on stun procs) should help a ton.
    Hydra is a difficult one because of the clash, a lot of people run it on manual or semi-auto, so instant battles won't do the trick here. In my opinion they need to fix the clash first. One small improvement will be to remove the annoying "use 1 hydra key" that they promised a year ago to delete...

    I am late game (do all hard DT rotations and Brutal Hydra)
    CB = 30 seconds
    Hydra = 2:30 hours (Brutal, Hard and Normal)
    Standard Arena, 5 battles = 1:30 minutes, only do 5 for dailies unless a tournament is on. (Gold 5 without trying)
    3v3, 5 battles = 8 minutes, only do 5 unless there is a tournament on. (in Bronze 3 or 4 without trying)
    Live arena = 3 to 5 minutes, I rarely play it and only do it if I have nothing else to do and have a spare evening.
    FW = between 6 to 10 minutes total for every key.
    Dungeons = 1 to 3 hours depending what is on.
    Closing pop-ups a couple minutes each day, they add up
    Cursed City = 3 to 5 to 10 minutes per stage so about half an hour to an hour. I don't do the Big boss.
    DT = 4 to 5 minutes for 1 key so 35 minutes
    DT waves = 5 seconds to 6 minutes per stage depending on hard or normal but most are easy ish for me now. Only top end of hard take a lot of time.
    Market place, = 2 minutes in a day, check it every reset to get green shards
    Building teams = possibly 20 minutes if I had to put it into a day but I don't do this every day or every week even and I have fun/take my time over it so when I do do it it can take a couple hours
    Running Mino = a couple hours every day that something isn't going on that I want to do, which is rare, but this takes a long time to get a champ mastered and can take a couple hours for a few days.

    I felt the same way when I played TWD RTS. The last few months I played it they were grindy as a motherf....er. It was exhausting. I played that game for over 6 years. This new seige does look interesting and while I've only been playing Raid for over 10 months I still enjoy it. I'm sure I'll feel different in say 3 or 4 years, but until then game on.

    if you wan't to do everything it's really too much time, i'd say around 3 to 5 hours easily depending on events or fusions. BUT most activities can be done while doing something else. You can leunch hydra or CB fight, and read your mails (or do chores or anything else) until it's done, same for dungeons or 3v3...
    It still takes alot of time

    I'm a budget player who has played for stints of a few months at a time, with much longer breaks in between. My account's in a weird place. I'd say this game is now running on my phone 5 to 6 hours a day, but I'm actively paying attention for just 30 minutes of it. When I actually have time to team build, I have to decide if I'm optimizing or pushing for new content, so I've still never tried cursed city, live arena, or hydra. I probably won't try siege until after I try those modes.

    I'm 3 months in the game and I have literally spent at minimum 10 hrs a day since I have started on this game obviously I'm super grinding and I'm starting to get to a place where I can get more time back but trying to do everything is crazy amount of time a day also that is not counting the amount of time I spend watching yours or other ppls videos to learn how to build champs if it's worth building them. Looking up masteries and blessings

    I really think what raid needs, Jgigs has recommended this way long ago, and skratch mentioned it the other day, is background dungeon farming, i think it would solve a lot of time issues in the game.

    yeah hydra is the place where i spend most my time but other then that its team building and arena. they need to bring the times down somehow. all up though id say i spend 5-9 hours a day with the game open. activily playing 2-3 hours . rsl helper really helped alot
