Interesting kit if there was a good hound to partner with - currently not even close! Plarium should confirm the new hound they clearly have in mind coming soon to allow people to make an informed decision about either going for this guy or skipping.
If you run a pain keeper with him you should have taunt up 100%. That means nobody gets eaten and you are almost guaranteed to reach the turn limit. He covers block buffs for you. So, throw in a provoke option and someone to heal/revive. The rest of the slots can be damage. Should make for a pretty high damage key on whatever difficulty you want to run. I currently use Emic and Nia or Emic and two pain keepers because Emic's taunt is on a 4 turn cool down. Packmaster being on a three turn makes it a bit easier to build a fully auto team that can run to the turn limit.
2-turn AoE Block Buffs on 3-turn cooldown is solid. 2-turn personal Taunt+Shield+Reflect on 3-turn cooldown is solid. Ignore the dogs, pair him with Emic, and those 3-turn cooldowns can turn to 2-turn cooldowns, due to a skill with a 3-turn cooldown, and Emic has a 2-turn Taunt (on a 4-turn cooldown). @@AdrianGado It basically is confirmed Plarium said Hes always looking for new additions *wink* so of course they adding new dogs pretty soon, Im just hoping they gonna come out as guaranteed because pulling them otherwise will be pretty much impossible lol
Is worth mentioning that decapitated heads can’t attack him so he will never apply hex to the exposed necks. Still some to his hex ability but he’s not going to be giving that debuff, or the 20% damage boost, when it really matters for big damage numbers.
I think fellhound is only viable in hydra once someone punches up his stats to the max, be with Mithrala as she casts inc def and attack which dually help his damage, and have the max blessing for natures bounty, which is the one that would make his 15% Dec speed into a 30% Dec speed
I'm skipping this guy without even a single doubt. Reason is simple, if they are going to release a few dogs to go along with him, you first need to pull them, until then the champ is pretty pointless. And we all know the odds of pulling the champs you need in this game. Who knows they may release some login champ or whatever to go with it, but I'm not gonna spend a single minute of effort on this unlikely event.
feel the same way useless to me. don't feel like wasting resources to use on dogs to use(pulled all 3 demonspawn dog souls 5stars an 5star Terrorbeast during boosted souls, got rid of them all) pulled a 3rd Gnut and that waaaayy better and useful.
I am never that fast with judgment. Sure its vault. Same thing I said about Incarnate. Now when I did her anyway I am glad I did she is very good provoker for hydra with some other utility and synergy with Arbiter. They are both not in A team. But their are solid duo for b team. So i will do dog orc too - just to be safe :)
Its a fragment fusion so I will go for him , people just want armanz type of champ all the time ,in my opinion he is a good champ first 2 taunt in 3 tuns so he is unique, I still have Ancora ,Supreme Elhain ,Zinogre , and a few more champs in the fragment pool waiting so he will be just another one there .
I originally was not going to go for him, but they made it a frag summon instead of a fusion. Frags take a lot less resources, and he may eventually be extremely good.
They should just include other "canine" characters as Brakus, Teumisia and Fren´zi. They're not meta and wouldnt break the game, instead they'd have put this fusion on another level.
They should add a "Beast" tag to a bunch of heroes and make it work with this dude. Along the hounds, it could also include heroes like Vergumkaar, Tatura, Ba Satha, etc.
HH, maybe putting Fellhound on a provoke set would be enough to control Decay. + Block Buffs, + Taunt, + Small speed decrease (potentialy upgraded using the new blessing). It is not that bad on Hydra to be fair
Still might do the fusion if only for the speed aura in all battles. Might come in handy in Sintranos or other (new) content. I lack good aura's sometimes. And it happened a few times that missing a fusion was bad afterwards. I still miss certain options from not having Ankora, Dreng, Helicath (missed them on few fragments). Where others skipped or missed fusions (like on Razelvarg, Armanz, Emic, Gnishak) I am happy that I did them.
It honestly feels like more of an early - mid game helper champ, the dogs are more accessible and it could help people that have fewer champions, or maybe struggling with hard campaign?
I think HH discounts the usefullness of a 2 turn taunt on a 3 turn cooldown for people who don't already have Emic. This isn't an account changing champion, but for a lot of people there's a place for them in their Hydra teams.
If you have 3 or 4 fellhounds, they all do AOE on their A1, only 1 needs accurancy for their speed debuff, the others can be kitted out with things like cursed, stun or toxic, and you masses of crowd control that all counterattacks whenever he is hit, and also ally attack on his A1.
I like to see the dog hydra mechanic with multiple fellhounds, maybe it is possible to make a quite achieveable hydra team with him for mid/early game... With Drath (veil) and Hugo (block buffs and decrease def) on his side, you might have a mischief target and you are fast enough to kill the heads, and place maybe the provoke or more reliable hex with artifacts on the hounds (+Decrease Speed). The fellhound later are good in secret rooms and maybe the cursed city if you pull souls, with stun sets or use one as campaign farmer.
Thanks for this video. I was dead set on going for him, but this changed my mind. I decided to pull all my sacreds today and actually got a 2nd Gnut. I should be better off than even getting a top tier doggo along side this fusion.
I'm going for him because he's got that DAAAWWWWGG in him. Also, a perfect champ to get allbfrags for and save for a rainy day. Either fuse him for points for a later event, or if a better dog is never released, then turn the frags in for Maud. Win. Win.
I'd give him a 7/10 for flavour and a 4/10 for actual use. I don't think he'll be good. Think of it this way, a) you need to get the packmaster first of all which means you have to do the fusion, b) you need a whole other character for the packmaster to be of use, let's say the first void mythical works well with him, that means c) you have to get that champ first, which if it's a void legendary, void mythical or even an epic, is going to be incredibly difficult. Compare that to Rotos where all you have to do is get the champ and unleash him on the world in decent gear and you've got a winner. TLDR: Just like this post, there are too many hoops you have to jump through to get to the good stuff
This is nice for people who don’t have teams yet or other legends. They can build this dude with their campaign farmer and get some work done. New comer catch up mechanic maybe
4 Fellhounds on a spider team sounds like it'd be a blast! I'm not going for this event, but if I ever pulled him I would definitely invest and build him as well as extra fellhounds just to play with for the shiggles. HH, give this guy to YST and I promise you he finds an awesome build/team setup that makes this guy so much fun to play with.
I'm for sure going for him. The chances that they release a legendary champ that doesn't pair well with current dogs is minimal. Plarium has something planned.
I've seen a few creators mention that "maybe they'll release more dogs that make him stronger." But what you aren't factoring in is that the dogs are listed by name, so to add a new dog means a change to the champion's skills. And that's a balance patch. And we all know Plarium doesn't do balance patches.
No sir, HH. Plarium missed nothing by not making the prize for the new clan content a dog. Whatever we're supposed to do to get that new legendary prize, it seems like it's going to be a pretty intensive process. The last thing we want Plarium to do is make the prize a champion which requires a second champion in order to reach its potential, especially if the pairing is not that great.
Not big on conditional champs, but looks like the direction raid is going, which in the long run is probably pretty smart since people will end up coming up with superteams, and then instead of hunting for somewhat interchangeable superchamps, spenders are going to need to get the right combinations.
I already blew all my shards for Marichka and Gnuts progressive chance. Pulled Marichka, 2 Gnuts AND the last epic I needed to fuse Mikage. All I say now is WHAT FUSION???? 🤣🤣🤣
Word, we appreciate content like this. It's honestly so costly for newer players to build each and ever champ. Even as a 3 year player, I just dont build champs like I used to because I just dont really need anyone else. I can only imagine your situation. I'm sure that you have a sufficient champ pool to do whatever you want and I think a lot of us are in that position at this point. I absolutely love raid, but the game has worked thru its progression ..... Its just not new any more.... there's nothing new to discover... :( FATELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think building a high HP/Atk/CD% Fellfound in 6 piece (or more) Slayer gear could be good assuming there's enough acc to land the dec speed. The A1 is AOE and Slayer would ignore 30% def and boost 20% TM every time he attacks which would make up for the lack of speed.
Packmaster should heal and cleanse the team - makes it a whole lot easier to make place for a hound! Also makes pack master very good as a stand alone champion - who can help upcoming players a lot. He is not going to be broken (trunda cough cough) due to a cleanse and heal but he will be very handy for a lot of players. P.S - will be doing this fusion as he has unique taunt and good block buff skills and his value can sky rocket with one good hound, even as a standalone champion - he can pair well with emic and it can be quite good. He has potential, just wish plarium weren't so stingy to make him super selfish on his A2
They said wix was trash because shield growth wasn't enough but look how that turn out. Fusion are the only truely guarantee champs in this game. Has long as you have scareds all fusion should be completed.

Absolutely getting. Might see if i can get my fellhound in some slower provoke pieces with high crit dmg so he can still do campaign and use him in my easy/hard hydra team. I also just want an excuse to try the hound soawn+ hellfang duo and im almost certain well get another good hound before long. Might not take him to 60 right away, but way too much fun looking to skip.
Hi Hellhades , I just got Shy'ek . I believe the next epic ,legendary dogs will be Gamar red-maw (hound spawn) , Jakkla the one-eyed (terrorbeast) as well as Rotten (Switches beast) . Next time Reader the Story!
Maybe a very, very stupid idea. But, what happens if you'd use packman with 5 Fellhounds, all in different gear sets? Make one dog extremely hardhitting, make one who does Hex, make one who does Poison, Make one who provoke (and is tanky) make one who does much healing (possibly with the new blessing) and have him prio the A2, and make any which of them to guarantee to land the debuff. IF all dogs are to be joining the ally attack, the gear set will proc often and and the healer can top up here and there while the damager does the... wel, damage
you should at least add up one veil, and maybe block buffs or redce cd for beeing mischief target .. But three hounds. Who gets attacked the provoke or taunt, if both are up? (but anyway he dont need to be that tanky) I like to see such a team, which seems to be fun for me, but not an op team ... I guess after midgame you have better teams avaible.
Well, after seeing this, I can confidently say that I am no longer in doubts that I went for the Incarnate and wasted resources instead of waiting for the next fusion. This one will be an easy skip for me. Maybe I get lucky and pull something better from shards. I have no need of another dps for hydra anyways. EDIT: Nub changed my mind. He's actually interesting. Might go for him, if I have the resources.
I've done Eostrid, Wiswell, and the Incarnate back-to-back. This is an automatic skip for me. His fragments will feed my pursuit of High mother Maud. It will be good to stack some resources.
I love how I just happened to FINALLY pull Fellhound on my F2P account... ughhhh PLARIUM! I swear it's always intentional, maybe I'll go for him now just in case some day they do a dog fusion (because I can almost guarantee they will just to stick it in our faces to anyone that skipped this fusion).
honestly building a taunt loop with him seems quite easy. With one Painkeeper he keeps taunt up 24/7 and brings hex and block buffs. No dogs needed and can be really valuable for someone like me since he solves so much on hydra. Or maybe just make him superfast with reflex? I think I'm gonna go for him tbh seems A to B tier not bad at all. Just utility champ
Maybe a dog as a new log in champion in the not too distant future? Who am I kidding. They’ll have some hero’s path right after the fusion with some legendary dog that’ll require loads of resources that most people spent during the fusion so the majority of us won’t be able to get it.
So, currently his skill descriptions only mention certain current dogs. Once the newsronger dogs are released, his descriptions will be changed/updated to accommodate new doggos? stupid fomo design. Plarium will probably release 1 good dog maximum, to be the only viable companion, just like current champion pairs. They should have went for another angle, not hound master, but a beast master. then there would be a TON of options to tag in champions together, like Draco, Rhazin, Venomage, etc.
@ *HellHades, hi, i have seen in a video of cold brew gaming, that plarium will soon bring out a mythical hound. Really. So you are right, then with it, it would be very cool, nasty and maybe game changing* Lets wait and see. Cu
You could run him with a fellhound squad. each fell hound has a different reaction set. since you then get double attacks with each one. 2 with poison armor, one with provoke built tanky, one with deflection tanky. the debuff mutt squad. could be a fun build. Another would be to place all in stun sets high speed on the packmast and you get 6 chances to stun. that would be annoying.
They should've added mezomel as a "dog" seeing as she can turn into a werewolf. I only say this cause mezomel is my only mythical and would give her more options if she could be used with the packmaster lol. Interesting concept of a champ tho!
It is possible they include a dog as a reward right after the fusion in either a Hero's Path or Titan event, and that may add some value but the only fusion each year I 100% go for is the Halloween time fusion regardless of how good the champ is simply because it's my favorite time of year so I just play and see if I go for him or any other fusion until then.
The problem is that he needs certain champs to be usable. And at the moment, the only usable ones..... suck. It's also a lot more resources you have to use just to, not only max him out, but also any of the dogs you plan to use him for. All in all, atm he's not worth it. But I'm still going for him. I'm taking gamble and hoping they bring out 1 or 2 more hounds that would work with him more. And if he's a fragment event, well another lego summon for a tournament. The main thing I kind of worry about though is if this becomes a thing. Where they start releasing champs that require others to work. Like maybe a necromancer that needs skeletons like DK and UDK XD in order to do anything. It's just even more and more that might water down the summon pool even more.
Ppl missing the point, he is easy upgrade/swap for emic-pk hydra team as he is 3 turns cd you could pair with demytha or any other block damage, unkillable champ, fellhound if used should be on provoke or cursed set easy cheese hydra team for all not even considering the new hound should really have synergy with him and could do the role of 2 spots in hydra for the price of one but if he is good expect a tournament and see him as first place prize for the mega Krakens only or if you get lucky someday, you should tune in till saph or yst do a video on him if they deem him as vault keeper then ill skip him
I've already decided the fusions are coming too fast for me to handle without spending, so my default position on ALL fusions is "SKIP." This one is an easy skip, for me, because he's so specialized and will require so much work to get him supported properly--including the mystery Dog that may or may not be coming. I believe I already have a pretty good stable of Champions which, if I concentrate on developing them, will open up parts of the game for me that I currently can't play (i.e., Hydra). I concluded earlier this year that I have GOT to stop chasing the "shiny new" and work on my "OG."
That ally attack is just a very limited version what the skinwalker does. That also boosts the damage to balance the famage mitigation what counter and ally attacks suffering
He's a fragment summon, so I'll have 50% or so collected just from doing my normal daily activities. I'll probably leave him as a shiny gold statue for a future fusion. By then, they'll most likely have released the obligatory upgraded companion dogs that we all know are coming
im taking everything you say with a grain of salt, you said wixel's shield grow isnt good in CB and now i see everyone boosting their teams to one key, it ruined me to skip him as a break.
I'm wondering why they didn't include Ba'Satha in the mix. I know he's a lizard but he's like 75 percent dog mix. His A1 with a 60 percent decrease attack would be by far the best A1 to pair him with

I missed out on Armanz and Wixwell... I can't take the risk again. Plarium be playing us for fools! Gonna do the fusion and just keep telling myself that the next daily log in champ will be an amazing dog... Honestly, it will. It will. It HAS to be!
Seriously, you skipped Armanz that we knew since his announcement that he was going to be OP as fuck and you go for this mid champ?
@@VikingsNeverDie It was the week I came back and it wouldn't have been possible without spending a fair amount of cash, as I had nothing built up for the fusion.
@@VikingsNeverDieI skipped Armanz too, not because I wanted to but because I had to. As a f2p just after the Monster Hunter collab I had 0 resources and if you're not sitting on shards and energy fusions aren't happening.
I'm f2p, and flush. Just opened 250 blues. I got jack, but I still have 220 blues, 29 primals, 132 voids, 42 sacreds, and 32k gems
Manage better! 🙄
A fellhound in cursed, a fellhound in toxic, let the memes begin
I'm going to look forward to the new dog that will come around. Will fuse this champ. Don't want to kick myself like all the folks who didn't fuse Armanz
Not fusing Armanz was silly. His kit was obviously OP since the day they revealed it.
How could anyone see "AoE full turn meter steal" and "single target sheep with AoE remove all buffs" and not realize he was going to be useful?
A new dog being released isn’t confirmed. It’s just the CC speculating because it would make sense
Morrigaine is a better example of someone most everyone trashed on that turned out really good in the end.
Good catch
I'm guessing that if they release a new leggo dog it would be a login champ. It lines up too since Adelyn chase is about to end.
This is my theory but it would be way too cool for Plarium to do this.
Surely this dude will be great fun with four fellhounds. All the fellhounds in stun sets for waves, or just pure damage.
I think fellhound is only viable in hydra once someone punches up his stats to the max, be with Mithrala as she casts inc def and attack which dually help his damage, and have the max blessing for natures bounty, which is the one that would make his 15% Dec speed into a 30% Dec speed
Plarium messed up with the names. Correct names: Pack Master Wixwell and Vault Keeper Shy`ek
Lmao
I'm skipping this guy without even a single doubt. Reason is simple, if they are going to release a few dogs to go along with him, you first need to pull them, until then the champ is pretty pointless. And we all know the odds of pulling the champs you need in this game. Who knows they may release some login champ or whatever to go with it, but I'm not gonna spend a single minute of effort on this unlikely event.
Unless, they make the dog a guaranteed, path event or similar. I don't think the dog will be someone you need to pull first.
His entire kit feeds ally atk builds without the dogs...
Watch the next log in champ be a dog
feel the same way useless to me. don't feel like wasting resources to use on dogs to use(pulled all 3 demonspawn dog souls 5stars an 5star Terrorbeast during boosted souls, got rid of them all)
pulled a 3rd Gnut and that waaaayy better and useful.
Its a fragment fusion so I will go for him , people just want armanz type of champ all the time ,in my opinion he is a good champ first 2 taunt in 3 tuns so he is unique, I still have Ancora ,Supreme Elhain ,Zinogre , and a few more champs in the fragment pool waiting so he will be just another one there .
u should try him with multiple fellhound maybe he trigger ally atk on all
For that to be worth trying, the packmaster needs to be better that the three slots taken up by others. Tough to do with dogs that are not top-tier.
@@grangerhermion1558 fell hound bring decrease speed on a1 and do decent DMG on AOE ,for hydra normal it could be great if used multiple
Its like you are trying a revolver without the right bullets. They will come HH! I will go for this fusion 100%
💯
Pack doesn't have to mean canine, so they could have included any creatures that run in group too.
The blessing nature's bounty (if it worked on buffs as well) could make fellhound very interesting actually
Another test please this time with 2-3 fellhounds if You can , i think that should be included too
It honestly feels like more of an early - mid game helper champ, the dogs are more accessible and it could help people that have fewer champions, or maybe struggling with hard campaign?
Everybody hated wixwell at first…! 😅😅
That doesn't mean anything here. This is magical wishful thinking.
I foresee a complete 180 in your future. Didn't even test him with a pack of dogs. This was a endgame test if anything. (FacePalm)
Seems like you would really want a Felhound in a cursed set to really help get those Hex's out there and get the boosted damage.
Should really be testing him on Hydra with the full pack and not just 1 dog to see his kit utilised to the max, even if the run fails
I have a feeling the next fusion will be a epic or legendary Dog Fusion
i really love the part that says "when this champion is attacked, ALL ally *dogs* counterattack."
awesome pull man congratz
😂How many shards? 500? More? Oh you should laugh about yourself for burning your Money.
@@sasaantonijevic42 34 ancients, 15 voids, and 16 sacreds. No money has ever been spent in this game
@@TheZaherell appreciate it
Bro got lucky and kissed by rng gods. You better skip that fusion 😂
FATELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know man. It would basically force me to commit into what ever skullduggery they're up to with the upcoming doggos. I don't like that.
He has potential, just wish plarium weren't so stingy to make him super selfish on his A2
I reckon the advert is a lead into HH's new travel channel.
Just curious, what are your favorite Gemmell books? I read Legend and Quest for Lost Heroes when I was younger and loved them.
They said wix was trash because shield growth wasn't enough but look how that turn out. Fusion are the only truely guarantee champs in this game. Has long as you have scareds all fusion should be completed.
They said Wix was trash and now they're saying this guy is good.
Guess what? Means this guy is bad.
I did not do wixwell because they said he was trash, I saved my stuff as F2P for other stuff. Live and learn.
@@WutTheDeuceGaming the thing is. the few people that went against the CCs and saying hes good are the same that has been saying all the time that Wix was good and Razelvarg was good. Bronko isnt viewed enough he is one of the biggest brain in this game. and the biggest brain that does videos. the others are all hiding in some discords like RSL Leaderboards. this is the guys you gotta take advice from. This orc is going to be super good
@@RisingRapture HH didn't say he was trash. He was one of the only ones saying he was actually good. I'm not sure Wixwell is the example to use here, because Hell Hades was right about him.
Maybe putting Fellhound in HEX or Provoke may work for Hydra
Given his 2 turn taunt on a 3 turn CD (after booking), don't you see potential in using him with Emic in Hydra?
you don't need him, White Dryad Nia makes Emic's taunt stay on forever.
(but anyway he dont need to be that tanky)
I like to see such a team, which seems to be fun for me, but not an op team ...
EDIT:
Nub changed my mind.
Seems great for FK assuming you can get through the waves. His passive would be nuts for taking down the shield
honestly building a taunt loop with him seems quite easy.
I imagine a pack of Fell Hound. One in Hex gear, one or two in Provoke, the other just trying to it the hardest possible. Maybe.
how is Ba Satha not a hound? also i would of put fellhound in Hex or Provoke
It's a lizard
It looks nothing like a hound 😂
@@UnswimmingFishYTIv seen John Carter Lizard dogs are real and should definitely count lol
The fusion places hex everytime he is hit. You don't need hex for hellhound.
@@jBiz91Only places hex when hit. You need a champ to inflict hex if you want to go first or inflict hex on a decapitated hydra head.
@ *HellHades, hi, i have seen in a video of cold brew gaming, that plarium will soon bring out a mythical hound. Really. So you are right, then with it, it would be very cool, nasty and maybe game changing*
Lets wait and see. Cu
What if you had multiple Fellhounds in Cursed and Provoke gear? I don't really know enough about the game
They will probably release the hound after the fusion and then do a targeted summons for it.
This Fusion is a no-brainer. FOMO is real! Nub raids did an easy 200m Hydra team.
*i wish i would also have test server access. To get alwyas the new champs without fusion very cool*
Random thought about the freeze dog combo…FK hard early level
So basically he's a vastly inferior Emic that might be an inferior Emic if they release another champion and it's not behind a paywall?
I’m going for it, holding out hope for a good dog. If nothing else, 30k cvc points since it’s a fragment.
LOVE MY RAYCONS!
i means its a cool idea, i'll give them that
Next free daily login leggo will be a dog
That would be hilarious after a bunch of people skip him.
I just want to see him and a full squad of fellhounds go for it
That ally attack is just a very limited version what the skinwalker does. That also boosts the damage to balance the famage mitigation what counter and ally attacks suffering
Maybe run someone like a sandlash with him. She has a subpar provoke, yet she can extend buffs and has the ally protect. Maybe a good pair up?
He's a fragment summon, so I'll have 50% or so collected just from doing my normal daily activities. I'll probably leave him as a shiny gold statue for a future fusion. By then, they'll most likely have released the obligatory upgraded companion dogs that we all know are coming
im taking everything you say with a grain of salt, you said wixel's shield grow isnt good in CB and now i see everyone boosting their teams to one key, it ruined me to skip him as a break.
the skill should include "increase the dogs damage by 100%" or something along those line. to really make these abilities stand out.
Tell Wixwell to throw away the key after he puts this guy into the vault 😂
I saw on Reddit someone theory crafting using him, inq shamael, and pain keeper to make an unkillable hydra team
That's what I was thinking, exact setup with padraig followed by islin and harima will go for days
He's worth going for regardless of current hounds, plarium has some kind of plan I'm willing to bet so I'm going for him
😊 I pulled him from a shard the other day.
I'm wondering why they didn't include Ba'Satha in the mix. I know he's a lizard but he's like 75 percent dog mix. His A1 with a 60 percent decrease attack would be by far the best A1 to pair him with
Problem is painkeeper would need to be 2x the speed to basically have the skill on cool down
I see you need a kid that I can definitely get. I'm going to go for it and look forward to dogs in the future
