I kinda feel like once again they have massively overcomplicated this...
I feel like Plarium doesn't even realize that Raid is a mobile game. This is more complicated than most console or PC games.
Absolutely will be. But we can only buff two champions every month or so. and even then it's to make doom tower or city more difficult it's never for us

I haven't even done 10 live arena matches. Between the mode being something I never wanted and the stupid time restrictions I never feel like touching it despite the rewards being good.

I love throwing in lvl 1 champs in live arena, watching ppl throwing in all these mythical champs and +4 Legos.... It's a riot.
4th Arena mode... thanks for that. It´s just too complex and they really need to decrease the time you need to fullfill all your daily tasks.
We need quad raids not super raids. To get events and tournaments done quicker. Especially for mobile players who can’t use blue stacks.

i'm not even level 100 yet. i have 950 pieces of 6 star gear. i am literally ready to sell all 5 star gear apart from some high quality savage, merciless, righteous and slayer.
its does look like moving up a tier gives you access to better gear rewards. Tier 1 is the equivalent of gold 1 arena in terms of rewards.

I would expect that it depends on the tier you are in. If you are in tier 1, as shown here, you get 1 fragment and level 5 stuff; if you are in T6, you'll most likely get more fragments and level 6 stuff, just as in CvC.
@@fabithiery7269 I'd get at least 4 per week for Mithrala using 3 keys when I was really starting with Hydra, and very rarely I got less that 7. Would use 2 keys for Normal and one for Hard. 1 for that much effort? I'd easily ignore this game mode. I'd leave my clan if they tried to force me to it. Such bad rewarding is not acceptable.

Imagine them saying “Talk with your clan” without having ANY effective intra-clan communication in the game. God, this company is so predictable lol. “Better than nothing, but not by much!”. I can’t believe no CCs are talking about the awful in-game clan tools. Out of touch unfortunately.
That detail stood out to me as well. Seriously this many years in I flipflop between incompetence or lazy when they thinktank these ideas.
They all have Discords to easily coordinate. CCs are out of touch on many things. Most think playing F2P for around a month each year keeps them in touch, which it does for about 30 seconds.
This isn’t better than nothing though.. not everything is better than nothing.. I guess it’s better than a stick in the eye😅
Not to mention the fact that the clan chat is wiped every time they push a maintenance. Like wtf... Why?

I started Raid as an side/afk-game....
But it takes more and more time to finish ingame-chores (yeah I know, I know, I could just choose to NOT do some of them).
Raid does not have enough charme to me to play it full-time. I could also say its too frustrating to play it full-time
It goes from AFK Background game straight to 'I've committed too much time to quit", never been a good game lol.
Lol same the gameplay is not that great a total grind fest, I should not be needing to watch farming for 4 hours straight, auto battles should just take your energy and and autocomplete it however many times you want. But I can't just stop I got some nice champs...
To make it feel less like a chore, I'll knock out the daily tasks on my way to work. Save all my energy and auto battles up. Then when I'm with a client I'll set up my Hydra team and let it run. Or climb doom tower. The boring stuff. So by the time I'm off work, everything is done. I just make sure to set up my Hydra teams ahead of time, and the same for Doom Tower.
I got a headache just trying to understand how all this works. I'm early game and my most my clan is inactive, so I'm not even going to attempt to try and learn this crap. Maybe in another 6 months I'll think about looking into it. Anyways, Thanks for the vid Simon!

They need to introduce new content that everyone can understand and play. I've been playing around 2 years and I have no idea what the hell is going on. How do you depend on your clan when some guys are inactive. I never talked to anyone in my clan. LOL.

It's incredibly overcomplicated and if the reward isn't good enough, no one will use this game mode within 2 months, only the pay to win big clans who want the largest trophy number next to their clan name.
3 primal quartz in that chest was hilarious 😂 I know it’s the tier 1 rewards, but it’s just hilarious that’s how they try to hype the playerbase 😂
I don't hold much hope, but still kind of hope that was an error given that smallest 3rd place chest in Clash gives 30+ .

Did they REALLY show us a 4 chest Siege reward chest with 3 5 STAR GEAR DROPS, A 5 STAR EPIC FUCKING CHAOS ORE AND 3 PRIMAL FRAGMENTS? Fuck me, this company really does its best to get stingier with every new update. This is a game mode that is literally designed to milk whales out of money to compete in PVP and the rewards are worth single digit cents. Fucking brilliant.

As a early to mid-game player, 180 days in, no enthusiasm at all for this, as my roster is just too small, 13 6*'s and very few lego's. :-/ Underwhelmed.
Just like most of the game : it's made for whales and above. Every1 else is an after-thought
Good job for 13 6*s man! You gotta choose why you play, if you enjoy the dungeons, classic pvp stuff, building teams for stuff and progressing clan boss, no need to stress about this game mode.
Seems like if one person has an unbeatable defense and guards the stronghold that one person can prevent the opposing clan from winning. If you cant beat that one opponent the best your clan can do is tie...which means everyone loses. Sounds wonky
didn't even think of this before. you need 1 kraken with +4 mythicals guarding the stronghold and the only thing that could stand a chance against him is another kraken with the same stuff. destroying every other building doesn't get you anything either. already sounds like an amazing game mode. i can only assume it's on purpose too, otherways they would give some sort of reward for getting a tie.
as a current clan leader, it's gonna be a struggle to talk to the team as there are NO TOOLS for internal communication in the game.
Also, what I fear about Raid every time new content drop is "oh, here comes another currency of some sort" and they didn't disappoint... bloody hell, why does it need to be so convoluted!? Missing Clash Of Clans and War Dragons wars atm.

This also my biggest gripe, why is there always a new currency to play part X of the game... they SHOULD condence this and let US (the player) allocate what we wanna do.
Most high tier clans already use Discord to communicate and strategize.
I think Raid, probably correctly, calculate that any clan communucation tools they put in will be inferior to Discord anyway.
So they could spend time and money to build better communication tools, only to have the players dunk on it and go with Discord anyway.
So their dev time and resources are better spent on something else than clan communication tools. Unfortunately.
@@suntiger745why don’t they create a way to link a discord channel with your raid chat… then you have the same ability such as creating a ping.. then just create an announcement channel also for your clan and boom

Seems like a great concept with some room for improvement.
- Battles should not be 4v4 teams AGAIN. It's just arena that pushes deeper into your roster with limited uses on each champ. Missed opportunity to come up with new teams.
- 2v2 for posts.. 3v3 even for most battles.
- No rewards if nobody destroys a fortress is a fail imo.
- The time sink alone is going to see a lot of clans miss this, making it all pretty un-rewarding.
- Outside of the top clans, how many clans have 30 dedicated active members to make this push?
Very true. Lots of room for improvement. But, we are Ukrainian, so live with it.

I will tell you what that gear set will do, it will progressively (since I saw accessoriess too) give you higher chance to resist Polymorph. Would make sense since it's still an issue and the wolf icon on the set is a sheep predator, no?

Except sheep is a spell turning you into a sheep, not a sheep doing something to you. I imagine it will just be ridiculous stat bonus gains for damage.

Ok, so im going off of the rewards chest here. 1 fragment for the winner chest, 1 siege battle every 2 weeks (12 day rest period in between matches) means 4 years to collect the champ if you win every single battle as a clan.
That is for the base tier . I don’t disagree at all though. This seems obscene and like another champ no low spend f2p or casual player will ever see.
Its actually only 1400 days so its not as bad as you think. N if neither team gets the stronghold no one wins. So you put a ton of work n cooperation with your clan for nothing. Why is Plarium so stingy with the awards.
Too much work, planning n coordinating with your clan to have the possibility of no one winning. So stupid.

It turns out to be worse than I though, and I thought it was going to be very bad. Too much to go through so 2 highlights I want to point out...
1. They have tied the champ to victories. I saw the rewards and it had 1 fragment in it. This seems to be like Mithrala but only going to take a lot longer to get. 1 frag = 100 victories. Battles are at least 2 weeks apart. Even if you win all of your 1st 100 siege battles it will take 1yr 11months to get her as this looks to be a CvC type setup every other week as you have a 12 day setup then probably attack/defend over 2 days, and then she will be so what when you get her.
2. Showing what each member is doing participating/not participating, how much they have donated is going to add pressure to members who will feel obliged to play and donate heavily just to remain in the clan. No real clan chat/communication system in place either to organise it all.
This is going to be more than a challenge for way too many people with RL commitments and struggling with time to do everything as it is and it will all end with the top clans fighting each other and bitching about it too as they do with CvC and Hydra Clash. What they never seem to understand is that everyone below are going through the same issues as they are but with a lower ceiling due to account, and/or spending power. I say if you want to be in an exclusive top 100 clan, then don't whine about getting beaten up by bigger Whales/Krakens than yourselves. Get gud! or get your wallet out! But at the very top you have to be good and get your wallet out.
I am convinced that there is a new team building this stuff every single time because none of the past features are ever taken into account. Every time, it's like a new team trying to one-up the last by making a super overcomplicated system. I am beyond fed up with how overcomplicated everything is. There are about 1,000 currencies now and around six hours worth of gameplay required per day.

Not for me. I assume they will make us play it in our dailies but I'm not playing a more complicated version of 3 vs 3. I already hate playing 3 v 3. Wish they would've made a different game mode within the current game for this. Maybe a little more sandbox feel to it or even a tower defense using our champs.

This honestly is an incredible joke for me. I'm the leader of my clan and I already spend more then 10 hours on the game daily (I'm not lucky enough to get the good rolls on gears and stuff). Even Hydra takes hours for me because of how bad my luck is. Now I have to spend even more time to not only organize battles, the buffs in the tower defenses, work with my members who live all over the world and are on at different times during the day, and keep it all organized! WTF!!!! I think it's going to be even worse then Tag Arena, and I HATE tag
They designed it so both parties can ultimately get no rewards in a tie. Making sure u have to go hard & max out resources. Or being hi spending top 10 accounts. No means to really communicate either. This is a cash grab. Still adding more crap and haven't fixed the original mess they've left. I just don't get them. Wtf
George Harrison wrote a song *It's All Too Much* and that's how I feel about this. The more complicated a game gets, the less manageable it is for new players to navigate in the begining. If they feel overwhelmed, the likelihood that they'll drop the game increases.
I think Raid does need something to reinvigorate long time players, but there must be a less complicated version of this sort of thing that they could implement.
My biggest concern is another version of Hydra clash rewards fail. Do your part, be active, contribute meaningfully, and no chest unless one is late-game and/or a spender.
the currency used for defence... is it gonna replace some of the rewards from tournaments and events? i fear for my free to play life

Not sure where to start but thank you for the content.. Time and communication. I'd ask Raid what are they doing to help these things? Other than that I'm super excited by the new content. Although as a clan leader I may not be able to max without some help from Raid.
Not interested in PvP to begin with, so this is another Ez Pass for me.
This feels like what star wars galaxy of heroes implemented a few years ago, can't remember what it was called but has two clans fighting to conquer a planet, however that only went a couple of days not weeks
I feel like I should be taking out a pen and paper and writing notes like i'm studying for a midterm...
I see no reason there can't be a PvE type of boss that scales with the 2 clans rankings or overall power. See who does more damage and a combination of: most damage in fewest turns(say by turn 100 and longest surviving with most damage (like hydra except maybe "easier" for lower level clans. Sort of like a beefed up clan boss.
I personally hate PvP, especially in a game like this because it's just becomes a challenge of who spent the most money in order to get those meta champions. And, me personally, am 90^ done spending money in this game unless it's for a forge set for damage dealers because regular dungeon set's are basically irrelevant.

For me, Raid was a game to play while doing other things... you know, you take a 5 minute break and play Raid. I created a clan to get the rewards, other players joined and we are all F2P. The clan does not ask for anything, members can do whatever they want. I skip Tag Team Arena because it takes too much time, so I don't do all the advanced missions. I don't do Iron Twins or Sand Devil or Shogun due to lack of time and energy. Now, this new thing... does it require communication and planning with the clan? Seriously thinking about looking for a new game. One last thing... so many currencies.
Clan Siege vs. E=MC2, which is easier to understand. Gotta go with Einstein on this one, but I guess it's relative.
Its just arena with a different background. This could cause massive divides between clan members and possibly members with no clans very quickly. Rewards are dismal. What is the artifact set and what does it do

Way too much crap too do for what will surely be a freakin mess.
So far the rewards are not worth the time investment this should take, raid really need to be more generous with the rewards x time/effort, each new gatcha game released raid rewards misery become more and more evident.

When what it should really say Is--SAME OLD REWARDS.
I will try it once and see if I like it. The prizes look like low level Hydra chests that comes around twice a month.

I feel that tight knit clans that communicate and coordinate well are going to destroy clans that aren't good at working together. I like that it's not like CVC where it largely depends on how many resources the clan uses to determine the winner and everyone more ore less starts out on even footing (for now at least).
I enjoy the steep learning curve. I'm in.

I am so fed up of all this overcomplication.
I feel like a lot of the success is going to depend on how the matchmaking goes. I would hope that the big spender clans and endgame clans would get matched together so it isn't unfair.
My clan hasn’t been able to keep members since the first CvC content was introduced. We float around 22-26 members.

Clan destruction Phase 2 in coming tomorrow. I was around when CvC started and it completely ruined Clans. Hydro Clash not so much, but I can see a lot of Clans imploding due to this

This feels like acquiring the new Void Legendary at two Battles a month with only the winner getting whatever currency is needed to get the before mentioned legendary is going to mean that it will take a very long time to complete the requirements for this new Void Legendary champion.
I think I will be playing the new upcoming game from FATELESS before I get this Void Legendary from this game mode?!?

Assuming you always win which you won't and it's 2 seiges a month it will take 17 months to get one primal shard and 4.5 years to get the champ IF YOU WIN EVERY TIME !!!!
I'm fine with the reward system, we can get the armor by hitting milestones so that's a win...I don't know how many low-mid level clans will get those chests tho...

Um... your math is way off.... if it's 1 fragment per victory chest, a faction would need to win every siege for just under 4 years to get it... 12 days prep 2 days attack, that is 2 week cycles, and 26 of them per year...
