This looks great! I too am a second-generation homeschooler, and we used BJU for handwriting but not much else. It's great to have a better introduction to it. I love all the colors! ❤
I'm second generation too!!! Do you use thier video lessons or the teach-it-yourself option? I have math in video lessons and reading in teachers manuals...but I wished I got the video lesson version.
Thank you for your lovely video! I just ordered the online program for both of my kids! I’m so excited. 😊
Hope you enjoy it!
Hi we are planning to go online this coming school year. How is it?
So grateful for your videos!! I’m praying for teaching a group of Grade 1 - 10 “Japanese kids” of some small churches in the Grater Tokyo area in Japan, mainly “online”. Their first language is NOT English, so they need to start from preschool material or go through ESL, English as a Second Language.
English based education is getting slowly popular in Japan but not the Gospel based as Christian population here is less than 0.2%. So lots of miracles have been prayed for. But your videos give so much hope and encouragement to us!!
After watching this and visiting the BjU shop to see what all I need, I’m still so overwhelmed and under prepared for my kindergartner😩
You need to email Sharon Fisher so she can do a free consultation with you. It's so incredibly helpful and she is gorgeous. Here's her email:sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
I'm intrigued 🧐🤔😂
Thank you for sharing 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for your reviews😊
My absolute pleasure 😊
Can you show what the Math curriculum is like ? Loving these videos
Thank you so much. This is a link to a review by Janelle. I thought it was pretty good :)

Hi , my son is ready to start his 4th year and he STRUGGLES with reading we've gone back and started with the basics twice and I really don't know where to start him do you have any recommendations?
All About Reading Press is GREAT...but it's offline! Abeka also has an excellent phonics program. I use BJU Press video lessons with my child and he loves it. I would get the video lessons if you do bju and abkea though...not the teachers manuals - they're too hard to do.
You have me really interested in doing bju press!
Haha...oh good. I think it's such an easy program to carry out!
Hi! May I ask if you have experience with Christian Light curriculum vs BJU Press k5? I am narrowed down to these two programs and am not sure which route to go.
No I don't but I hear CLE talked of very positively for primary and middle school...not so much high schools. I love BJU Press for everything but it can be expensive. I reckon it's worth it. I haven't looked into CLE prices though.
Do you use this and AGF? I am looking at Simply Charlotte Mason for 4th grade. I will likely continue right start math and logic of English.
Hi Joyce, I don't use AGF. I'm an affiliate with them though and like their curriculum. I use BJU Press. Its less time consuming which I like 👍
Right start math is such a good choice!
Hi! Does BJU have any sort of placement test for students? My son is going into 5th grade but struggles w/reading comprehension. I want to make sure I choose the right level for him. Thanks in advance!
I asked BJU Press and they said it was a bit complicated. Sharon (who is gorgeous) said to email her about it so they can fit your child to the right level . Here's here email: sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
Love bju the math is the best
I love it too! I'm going to America next month and my son asked me if I'll meet his math teacher (on video lessons) there. I said that if I do I'll get a photo. BJU Press celebrities haha
Hi there, there has been a lot of buzz about the science of reading (sor) . Does bju press follow this ?
I don't know. They are rigorous. Ask Sharon here about it: sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
Can this be ordered without a US or Canadian address? I tried online and it wouldn’t work… still awaiting an email reply from BJU press.
Yes you can! I get it in Australia. If you're having trouble contact Sharon Fisher
Which materials are required for “footsteps for fours?” Thanks!!
What's so great is that you don't need ANY! It comes with all the snap-outs and manipulatives you'll need! Chat to Sharon though because I think you may need the bricks (unit bricks): sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
@@howtohomeschool we ended up just buying the online learning course that goes live on July 1!
basic question. Does this teach up to grade 12? Or, just elementary level?
All ages, grades and subjects. VERY thorough.
what is highest math level for high-school? I saw Abeka rich to pre calculus.
Thanks for commenting. I tried to look on their website, but it's undergoing maintainence now! But, if you email Sharon, she should be able to help. She's a consultant with them. sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
Are you still using BJU press
Yes. We love it :)
can you switch from the one thats not attendance to the one that is?
Hmmm...once you've bought it as not, I dont' think you can switch. But you can chat to BJU Press about that before buying :)
thanks for letting me know@@howtohomeschool
We just started at 11. Can we jump into using this?
Absolutely. If you want some more info you can do a free consultation with Sharon (who is lovely!). This is her email. sfisher@preceptmarketing.com
Would this be considered a classical education program?
No. It's a traditional one. It's spiral-based. If you're interested in classical, check out Veritas Press. They do free consultations. Or Memoria Press. There are others too. I did a video on it recently :)
Which one is more affordable? Veritas or Bju?
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Why does the Math book still feels sad after your joke?? 😁
Because you revealed to the public (school 😁) that he has many problems!
Haha...well done. I'm not great at jokes. Unfortunately you guys have to be my patsies for trial and error!
