When I was younger I was in law enforcement. We responded to a call where a boater had literally pulled up a bumper and license plate from a car. They sent divers down and recovered a vehicle with remains inside. Be careful!
That lever is the choke for that engine. Tip it up for cold starts and then as it warms you will notice the engine sputtering push it down and leave it down ok T!!
Dude!! I am loving the magnet fishing action from the boat! What a game changer. Next thing we know you're going to have to get a party barge, a.k.a. pontoon boat, to keep up with these massive hauls. I'm so happy for you guys!
@@leahvillmer9853 OMG! I hadn’t even noticed that! No, you’re correct, that’s not good. Not good at all. All that hard jerking on the steering column is going to be a big problem at some point. Tyler must not have ever taken Auto Shop in high school, but Alex is automotive smart,so I would think that he would say something.
I love that idea about getting a pontoon Tyler. That’s an awesome idea but don’t forget about your first course. In scuba diving it’s gonna take a long time three years to get your certificates possibly longer better start soon with the pontoon sounds pretty cool.🎉🎉🎉😊
That bridge tension bar is seriously cool and a keeper. If you get that cable underwater just keep pulling and I’m sure you could pull both sides of the town together 😂😂 that boats a game changer
Called my sis in Traverse City, Mi today, they have 5” of snow and it’s still coming down wicked! She said yesterday she was sitting on her deck having cocktails. Fun in the sun! 💖🇺🇸😎 N.C.
Great stuff again dude, the bead things on the fishing weight are called split shot in the UK, they stop the weight travelling down the fishing line to the hook!
I guess it is the mom in me, but I always feel better when you have Alex with you. Great finds, guys. Be careful on the water. I could just see that ice sheet toppling you over. Stay safe, but keep on with the Tyler antics.
If you get a rubber strip and put it across your boat sides, it'll help protect it when you drag stuff in...just a thought. I'm surprised there wasn't any friendlys in that muffler!!!! 🦐🌿🦐
Absolutely!!! It'll save having to repaint or repair the boat or trim! N ice can dent or cut thru things too, so a strip down the nose of the boat would be wise, if not just reinforcing the metal strip. A boat shop can give a few tips if they don't laugh n call him crazy for going out in the ice to begin with! 😅😂 Tyler is hard-core n a lil bit nuts cuz he's young yet, but it's sure fun to watch n live vicariously thru him n Alex!!! 🤩🤣
I'm so happy for you guys to have that wonderful boat. Can go to alot more places in the rivers/lakes. Can't wait for the warmer weather for you also. Keep up the G-R-E-A-T videos!! ❤
The lever on your boat is for cold start. So with the shifter in neutral lift the cold start leaver lift it past where it feels like it won't go any farther the higher you lift the that leaver the higher the engine will increase in rpms. When you turn the key push in at the same time that will choke the engine this will help with start up. Once the engine fires depending on how high/ far you have lifted the lever will dictate on how fast the engine revs. So you can adjust accordingly. Put the lever down and you are ready to go. Love your channel hope this helps
Any more trips like that Navigating through the ice, and you're going to need to reinforce the hull of your boat ,then you could name her old iron sides. Stay safe have fun guys.😊
Think about this. If someone throws something in the water, where the flow is going under the bridge. The thing would ( with the flow) go under the bridge. You should throw under the bridges at all locations.
The A team of magnet fishers out again. A seriously good haul today guys. If you haven't paid for that boat yet in scrap you soon will. Have you upgraded your anchor yet?
I am sure others have explained this already but my father has an older boat like that and the lever acts as the choke, then as soon as the engine starts put the lever down. someone said to that it sounds like the idle sounds a little low. if you can locate the idler screw put either the boat in water or the boat fins in a bucket of water and turn it on, then adjust till it sounds right. never start your motor without water being able to circulate through the propeller motor, you will burn it up.
You can find the manual for your boat motor online if you want to learn about all the details for starting it and using the fast idle and choke and also the maintenance on it. When you take the seat out of the back you might want to remove the post it mounts on. There’s a release lever at base. It could hurt if you fall on it. Very good and interesting finds. I’m sure the bike went in upstream and was pushed along by the current.
Pushing in on the key switch when starting it actuates the choke and the lever on the top is the throttle pull it up a little farther than you did and it should rev up
@@TheFisher hmm, mine is a black plastic insert with a small lever sticking up. I change where I put the extra seat and sometimes just leave it out. I wonder if it’s just broken off? Should be able to replace it if that’s the case. Not really the weather to be crawling around in the bottom of the boat though studying the seat post.
It crazy that you were talking about catching the lines running underwater because I have and it's scary. Usually the cable isn't magnetic, but I caught a metal brace holding two lines together. It made me think of Jaws 2 and creeped me way out! Luckily I was able to get my magnet off of it without an trouble, but I won't be magnet fishing that spot ever again. I love watching your videos and it's awesome you got a better boat to fish off of now.
There is also an area on the bay that has remains of an old logging docks. There is an area north of little suamico that is the remains of an old fishing dock for the processing center
Hi Tyler😊 I don’t think those barrel that’s running from one end to the other underwater is Steele. Otherwise it’ll all get rusted I don’t think you’ll be sticking do this at all.. I don’t think there’s any worries there, my pal😁😊👍🏼
Raise the high idle just a little bit and press in on the key while u crank the engine. When it hits, release the key and if the motor starts to die, press the key in and release it. Seems like u have a good set up! Love ur videos!
As I said before, just crazy; but you weren't the only ones! So much fun, I wish I was that brave but my body is too sensitive to that kind of cold weather. What would you do if you actually found an auto with your magnet?
Another great video! So happy for you now that you have your boat. You've had a couple close calls on recent videos. Wish you would wear a life vest to keep you safe. 😊
You found some good stuff this time! That homemade anchor is awesome! With how cold it is out there, I'm curious if you use the hothands hand warmer things? The water might ruin them if you stick them in your gloves, but you could always keep them in your pockets. That's what I do lol
Depending on what day they went out it's been in the lower 30's to the lower 40's. Today is supposed to hit the middle 40's. However, it feels way colder being out on the water.
Thanks for watching ❤️
Maybe you can get to the bridge where you lost your last magnet?
Too cold for me to be on the water, for sure. Be safe out there!
Holy smokes the amount of anchors u guys have pulled out of there is ridiculous

Time to change your channel name to Anchorman lol
You should have a set of oars on board 1 to push the ice floats away and 2 if the motor stops you'll have a auxiliary way back in
One of the beginner boaters mistake. No oars.
That turnbuckle of Alex's is huge. Cool!
As long as no one has to fish YOU out. Pretty adventurous of you. You guys have way too much fun. So glad you are doing well.

Actually, that’s not a bad idea!🧐 I would feel a bit more at ease too, less chance of a man overboard incident on a pontoon boat right?
@@lorileeolmsted3869 It would also help with having other places to tie off ropes other than the steering wheel. That would be worrisome for me.

We just got 16 inches of snow in 8 hours today!
I half expected you to stan on the front and yell, "I'm the king of the world wooooooooo!" haha
To start your boat, you should try choking it 2-3 times BEFORE turning it over. On our boat it was a rubber capped button… yours could be that lever?
Enjoying the adventure with you guys. Crazy stuff.
Interesting sound effects on that video with the traffic going over the bridge. Interesting voyage today in the ice breaker!
Winter ain't done here..snowing this afternoon. Dedicated to go out on the boat today✌️
We just got over 15" of snow in the last 8 hours!
@The Fisher I know Wisconsin got hammered...I think we need to do a remote in Florida..lol✌️
Only to have a high of 46 the day after. We got a good 5 inches near Hortonville

Agree😊 I do think its the natural born mom in us!

The lever when starting is for higher idle. More RPMs.

Nice and heavy founds.

You guys are having way way a lot of fun, I love it💕💕💕💕
This boat thing really works for me, captain
Nice haul guys, great video!!
Colorado says “Thanks guys”, stay safe and warm. We can’t believe how many anchors you two have found in that same spot. See you on the next one.
It’s absolutely insane! Thank you so much for watching!
Now that you have your boat, you need to do another magnet fishing trip with your GoPro attached. Think about it
