First throw was a camshaft. From an 8 cylinder engine. The round flat disk just before the wrench was a clutch for a manual transmission setup. 👍 I really enjoy your videos.
Count the lobes. It looks like it’s for a six (12 lobes).

It is not a clutch it's a flywheel
@@alanord355 - it’s definitely not a flywheel (having installed both, to include pressure plate and throw out bearing).
@@alanord355 nope, it had several pads visible also several springs. Flywheels don't have either. No big deal, but you're wrong.
I do enjoy your endless, boundless, genuine, enthusiasm. Nothing phony. I like your videos, you show us everything, not constant building to a rusted out rifle. I love seeing just the real shit coming up of the bottom. There's a giant park along the river where the old dump stretches for miles, turn off the century through 60s. I wanna see what's there now!
That piece that was long was a camshaft out of a engine. The piece at about 7:48 that had a cable was a guy wire end for a electrical pole. The piece at about 9:27 looks like a clutch plate.
Yeah and the others thing before the clutch brake was part of an exhaust

That was fun!!! The shovel looks like a snow shovel! Yep....and you should of known that muffler had Franky's in it!!!! 🦐 🦐😄
The part of the shovel was from a low grade iron "snow" shovel. Had to use one in the '60s when I was a teenager for my parents. Remember distinctly those depressions in the shovel. They were pressed into the curved blade to strengthen it but if I was shoveling wet snow, it would bunch up in the depressions and had to use a stick to clean them out. What a pain. Dad, wouldn't let me hang the shovel up in our unheated garage until blade and wooden handle was completely free of snow. Then Mom would give me a can of cooking spray called "Pam" and Dad had me coat the blade to supposedly keep the rust at bay. Dad didn't believe or trust the light lubricating oils in spray cans like WD-40 or 3 in 1 oil.

First catch was a camshaft out of a car engine. Gear lube usually came in those smaller barrels your cousin caught and the other item was a clutch plate that had the springs in the middle.

I love it when I get to take my nieces with me. and getting a full cart dosent hurt ether. keep having fun stay safe and keep throwing.

Nice cam shaft on the first throw! The thing with the little "panels" on it is a clutch plate from a standard shift car or truck. I could tell by the placement of the springs on it.

2:10 is a cam shaft, 8:44 kind of looks like an axl bump stop pad, 9:25 is a transmission clutch plate. Im tellin ya you have to make a Frankie the Claw tshirt, maybe have Frankie magnet fishing catching a Tyler.

9:29 - manual transmission clutch disk. Those are springs on the inner portion.

Just before the Cresent wrench, (adjustable end wrench) Cody caught a flywheel from a clutch assembly. That's the part that moves when you engage the clutch pedal.

A good rule of thumb for anchors is that you use double the length of anchor rope as the depth of water. That way your anchor holds in the current.

first throw of the day, around 2:20 mark, that is wither a camshaft or part of a camshaft for an engine. 9:26 mark, disc with springs is a clutch disk for a vehicle with a stick shift transmission.
WOAH! New London native here, I've been throwing off docks for a while now. How do you pick good spots? I pulled up a bicycle and a scooter already, and a fisherman kid said he found a pistol in the river here. Other than that, I haven't found much. I totally want some horse shoes!! Do you judge by the bend in the river, or maybe by the distance to the road?
Some horseshoes especially those that are more pointy are from the horses they used to use a few hundred years ago crossing our country. Example Clydesdale and there is one more much taller horse our forefathers used to go across the upper Midwest. That's actually is more than 16 or 18 hands . Strong animals really big hooves.

That's what I learned to ice skate with. They had leather straps to hold them on. They went right on your boots. Yup I'm older than dirt! It was fun though!
