wow people used to send hate mail, that's some dedicated hating, here on the internet all you do us gotta hit a bunch of keys, back then you had to bring out a piece of paper, hand write it, stuff it in an envelope. then go to the mailbox and mail it, all while trying to maintain your rage. hardcore

I thought this was actually not a bad interview at all. Very relaxed . At least the interviewer had some knowledge, not like a Britney Spears fan type of interviewer
this interviewer was a well known journalist who had been writting in the greek Metal Hammer for years

Η μαλακια σε αυτο το περιοδικο ειχε παρει επικες διαστασεις. Θυμαμαι την κριτικη στους burzum του Πουσιου: "Έβαλα τον δισκο στο πικαπ, χρρρρ (ροχαλητο), ξυπνησα, ειχε τελιωσει ο δισκος". Γαμω τα γελια. Κριτικη σε demo: "Εκει στο Άργος δεν πρεπει να εχουν γυναικες. Ετσι εξηγειται η μαλακια που ακουω από αυτo to group απο το Αργος".

Είχαν πλακα τοτε. Στο λυκειο εβαζα το καινουργιο μεταλ χαμερ στο θρανειο και πηγαινα κατευθειαν στις κριτικες για να γελασω με το θαψιμο που επεφτε.

Its been the same since the 80's people are jealous about their fame, to be honest if metallica didnt put metal on the map 95% of the bands would have fizzled out in the early 90's.

You can tell James wasn't super thrilled by the interviewer interrupting and kinda putting words in his mouth. Can't really blame him.
Maaan, what I wouldn't have given back in the day to have access to all the videos, interviews and other shit that's floating around on this beloved site. All I had was whatever interview MIGHT be in the current issue of Metal Edge, Hit Parader, guitar mags, etc., which was nowhere near enough. Long live UA-cam! And longer live Metallica !!

First off i love your Molson Canadian beer logo I'am Canadian also but i drink Labbatt Crystal,but Molson Canadian is a good beer also.But ya I'm a big supporter of Metallica & what they've achieved over the years.
That was such a crock when people were mad at Metallica for making a video & cutting their hair,how pathetic is that? Dam pathetic! & all the people saying how horrible Lars is as a drummer,do you really think Lars is that bad? Metallica is huge,you don't get that big with mediocre drumming or guitarists,vocals etc.
Just imagine idolizing them from a from a early teen to a 20 year old it was world changing they had THE BEST HEAVIEST CONCERTS EVER it was a big change overnight you just had to live it as much as I hated I loved it showed their talent we were all want to beat shit out of things raising hell you just had to live it we lived our Metallica
