Love the way you explain your topics. If I had found your channel earlier in my life when learning piano, i'd save years of frustration and wasted time! Keep up the great work!
kathy johnson Hey! Don't be afraid of doing that. Especially if there's any questions you wanna ask! I doubt that anything bad can come out of couple of your mistakes. Sure, there are grammar nazis, but they are few. Don't let them discourage you from learning or interacting with other people!
i found out minor-major chord by adding spice to the Fm and it's sounds a perfect sad yet creepy ending on my chord progression. since im just self-learning the music theory i searched it on google and can't find a straight to the point answer on what the chord name was. i still wonder why this chord is not as used as C7 when they're the same concept, just switched?
I love your presentation! Thanks for making music theory incredibly engaging!
These videos are fantastic, they always make me want to learn more about music theory.
The minor major 7 chord has always been a favorite of mine! Great explanation.
Love your work, Galt!

My favorite usage is on the 4 minor chord: FmM7 > Fm6 > C
Please more functional harmony videos like this. I was just studying this chord yesterday. What a coincidence
