I have a early 94 Chevy Silverado extended cab short bed Z71 two tone onyx gloss black and quicksilver center stripe down the sides and tailgate and red pinstripe its a tbi 350 but the truck has 265k miles so the motor is a 87 Chevy p30 tbi 350 bored 0.40 over sounds awesome lol needs transmission.
Just curious what was hard about the starter to get out haha it was already unbolted, good job getting er done. I had to change my 6.5 starter in -40 out in northern Canada last winter. Mine doesn't have that rear bracket. Which you kinda need supposedly to support the block from cracking. My truck in the 300xxx km I've put on hasn't had one lol
I always forget GM offered the 6.5 diesel in half ton GMT400s. They dont seem gutless when they are in half tons less weight. They could've kept the 6.5 as an option for GMT800 half tons, because they sure as heck didn't drop the duramax in 1500s. That'd be too much weight for 1/2 ton IFS.
Glad I found your channel! I wish you the best of luck with it. Keep up the good work. BTW, let whatever is knocking inside that glovebox out because it’s even started screaming in pain😂
Great content. Your camera girl did a good job letting the people know what's happening.
Yes she did! Thank you!
Wow , thanks for saving that good old Chevrolet pickup, you did a great job on him . You’ve got great help !
Thank ya kindly!
Greetings: What a rare find. Thx 4 the share.
Great video.. Bringing that truck back to life was cool. Shout out to the Camera girl.. She did a amazing job directing. I'm subscribing.
Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
You are like me take on projects that educate you and make you spend dollars. But priceless
I got a 94 k2500 myself, aside from rust it runs very well ( But that is what you get when you live in a cold place ).
Yeah down here we don’t have much rust issues just the sun eating away at everything
Those bumpers are *stout* Tyler! Cool find my friend, glad you could find the truck a new owner. Enjoyed the video my friend 🙂👍 Keep at it 🔧
Thank you amigo!
Man, you can’t kill them old trucks best trucks ever
I’m debating to get her back!
You honestly should man
got a 1994 heavy half ton 6.5 dont got a lot of power but shes loyal
Love your camera girl
Starter definitely suck, especially when the starter bolts break off in the block😂
I like the David Allen Coe T shirt. I saw him at Willy Nelson’s 4th of July picnic in Austin Texas in the early 1980s. Good times. Good video.
Thats awesome. I have seen him twice at the picnic and once at a venue. He’s probably my favorite artist.
TC gets it done! Great video man
Those 6.5 turbo diesels needed a revival before they left the assembly line
Just about lol

I want one just like this one
15:39 😂😂😂 that’s happened to me before……
I've never seen a half ton Chevy pickup with a diesel engine from the factory.
They are few and far between!
That is rare , less weight in half ton maybe ? That might benefit them balless motors..😂
That old dodge is nice

The lack of room mainly, I had to do partial turn at a time for each bolt from what I remember. Plus the scorching heat didn’t help lol.

If you need to replace one hose replace them all because I found this out the hard way.
That is actually a 94 or earlier because after 94 they changed to the newer interface
Yeah 95 was a half year new interior with a TBI system for gassers
Find me some centex 6.5s 😂. I love them as good DDs.
That what she was, just north of SA! But didn’t even get a chance to list it.
Take the dust cover off next time. Makes it easier.
It was the porridge scene in the three bear story that you were trying to remember.

Actually the oil cap being missing is a big deal because I lost nearly every drop of oil when mine went missing.
Great camera man👍😂
Thanks! Quite an expensive wage for that one lol
@@tcfinds ahaha😂
Hows the truck running?! Nice work getting her running!
It’s running amazing. I have the opportunity to buy it back. It’s a fight with the mind.
@tcfinds well if you don't want it I'll buy it haha. I've been looking for a 6.5! Thanks for the response and your time! Happy 4th of July!
U need 2 battery for every diesel
I lust over your extremely good luck!!!
As my ac compressor locks up at a job 2 hours from home lol. Cody had to tow home the little dodge a day ago. Lucky with some. Not with all lol
@@tcfinds noooo!
