Change is coming. Humanity is entering a radical new era, unprecedented in both Earth and Human history. To survive the coming centuries and fulfill our potential as a species, we will have to overcome the biggest challenges we have ever faced, from extreme climate change, to rogue A.I., to the inevitable death of the sun itself.
If we succeed, our potential is cosmic in scale. Incredible prosperity is within our reach. But the wrong moves could push us into irreversible collapse.
In this series, we will travel forward in time to see the beautiful, strange, and ugly futures that humanity could face, and chart a course for how to thrive not just for the next few centuries, but for billions or even trillions of years.
Mankind will survive all but the bleakest futures. We have the intelligence and tenacity. The question is not will we survive, but how will we.

This content is absolutely incredible. Every video they make leaves me in complete disbelief. The video could be multiple hours long and I would be sitting there the whole time with my jaw dropped because of the stunning production value and storytelling. While I sometimes miss the old style of content, especially the "Symphony of Science" series, I always am in awe of how much the style has changed over all these years and how epic the new content has become. Whenever I watch a new Melodysheep video, it feels like I should watch and experience it at the cinema. The music, the visual style, it all feels like multi-million dollar projects, and it had such humble beginnings 14 years ago. Thank you for everything.

@@fartman3254 In general, we won't be useful anymore, we carry nothing to the table for the future, unlike AI's, although unlikely for those who aim and create the future. This is how the world works now but if you're talking about 3D modeling, despite the opportunity of AI's ability to take and advance the skill than any human comprehension, it's a fun skill to have. So go for it

Don't sweat too much, within 1 year we will have AI doing videos like this easily, it will just need good prompts. If you want to learn something that's really going to boost your creativity learn the AI language.

Before we can reach this. Besides only technology, I know there are many problems that we have to take care of.
All kinds of human problems like equality and human rights and a better system to make us more sustainable.
Maube a more educated world and reduced poverty and terraforming of our own Earth.
Even though Earth goes through cycles of dry and wet periods every 20 000 years, we can make it better meanwhile were waiting.
We need better ways to handle war and fights.
Probably a less deadly option.
We will have to learn how to controlle our own demands and desires like greed for money, objects and land for your own country. These wars of greed will just slow us down furthure more and stop our progress.
While money limits pur speed of progress, it keeps us in a balance but we might find better ways.
There are tons of things to do before were actually ready.
But soon we will be.

We have a lot to learn.

Mesmerizing, inspairing, it´s like a religious experience, I see so many documentaries and even on the highest rated streaming platforms you would have a hard time findind something as impressive as your work. I´m just some random person out there in the world, but I wanted to say your creations have a weight on me that not many artist could achieve now that I´m an older person thinking "I´ve seen it all, nothing can surpraise me any more", and yet you do every single time. Incredibly excited for this in particular! I always get a bit of the queezy valley when I see AI art but I love the mix of CGI and hand-drawn art. The spanish guitar in the background really brings it down to earth. I love everything about your videos. Artistic expression of what the future of humanity will be like by experimenting with the relationship between AI and tech, and the physical. What will it look like? What will it feel like? What will we accomplish?
Cant wait. in my eyes your work truly is art and you are one of the greatest artist i know. And of course all the artists that work with u are too. If I were told youtube would delete all channels and I was given the choice to only keep one, it would definitely be Melodysheep.
visually, it's amazing as always, but i noticed something about the music. There's less synth noises, and it genreally doesn't sound as artificial, and i think this is most noticeable during the credits. I think it lends itself to the humanity of this series, and that really makes an impact. It's a very cool easter egg. I'm sure some other guys out there will be analysing the video ans stuff, but let's not forget that Melodysheep started off making music videos. his experience and creativity really shows here and i love it.
Melodysheep is generally very aware of what he does musically. Really got storrytelling by score down.
