Not you guys biasing the soulmates (Chenle aka Cactus and Jisung aka awkward cutie with the pink sweater and blue hair) that automatically means you are soulmates 😌 Long story but basically Chenle was a child singer in China and Jisung a child dancer in Korea and when they were 10 they met at a festival in China where they performed. Despite not speaking the same language they clicked and hung out the entire day overcoming the language barrier by playing hand games and sharing music via their ipods, so they even took pictures. 4 years later Chenle comes to korea after being scouted by SM and is immediately offered to join NCT Dream and debuts with Jisung at 14. Once again, they immediately click and became best friends as Jisung tries to learn Mandarin to help Chenle learn korean and be more comfortable because he only had 2 months to train before NCT Dream’s debut, not knowing that the other is the boy they met and became friends with at that festival. Then they saw the photos their parents took of them and recognized each other 😭 That’s why they’re called the soulmates because Mark never lets us forget that Chenji are destined and meant to be. You probably didn’t need this information right now but you picked the soulmates, so it’s a rite of passage.
To understand NCT-Dream's style and sound you have to understand the concept of the group. When they debuted, they were all teenagers. The whole point of this group is to appeal to fans in their age group. Kpop is full of young groups who are trying to attract an older, more mature audience. Therefore, I think SM Entertainment was pretty clever to create this sub-unit as a way to catch the attention of a younger demographic. Why not market music to a younger audience? I think it's kind of refreshing that SM decided to start NCT-Dream out with more of a family-friendly concept because all the members were actually still children. In their Killing Voice performance, from left to right, the members are: > Mark is the leader of Dream, the main rapper and a dancer (that is also an amazing singer because he is a member of SM Entertainment.) Mark is also an original member of NCT-U, NCT-127 and SuperM; he is Korean-Canadian. > RenJun is a main vocalist; he is Chinese (He actually learned Korean as a child and was bilingual in Mandarin and Korean before joining SM. Everyone jokes that he is more fluent in Korean than the Korean members.) >Jeno is a lead rapper (who became the main rapper and de facto leader when Mark "graduated.") > Jaemin is a lead rapper, lead dancer and sub-vocalist. > Jisung was the youngest member of all of NCT for 7 years, who happens to also be one of the tallest, and the member with the deepest voice. He is the main dancer, a vocalist and sub-rapper, as well as one of the best dancers in NCT, so he is the one with the dance breaks in most of their songs. (However, now that NCT-WISH just debuted a few days ago, new member Sakuya, who is currently 15, is now officially the maknae of NCT.) > Chenle is a main vocalist; he is Chinese. (He is a child prodigy who was a fairly famous actor and singer as a child in China.) > Haechan (the one who often has the high notes) is a main vocalist and lead dancer; he is also a member of NCT-127, who had pink hair in the NCT-127 Killing Voice performance. NCT-Dream is NCT's third sub-unit, which began in August 2016, and it is made up of the 7 youngest members of NCT at the time. All the Dream members are currently between the ages of 21-24 years old -- they were 14-17 when they debuted. (They are no longer the youngest members now that NCT's 5th sub-unit, NCT-WISH, just debuted with 6 new members, making NCT a 26-member group in total.) SM originally created this sub-unit with the idea that if they had a trainee that they felt was ready to debut even though they were really young, they would start out as a member of NCT-Dream. They were the cute babies of the group who were learning the ropes and honing their skills because they are young, but they are also some of the most talented because they debuted way sooner than a lot of trainees. The way NCT-Dream originally was designed to work was that the members were part of the group until they turn 19 and become an adult. SM's original plan was that when the members turned 19, they were supposed to graduate from the group and they were no longer considered a member of NCT-Dream. Mark "graduated" from NCT-Dream in 2018, and Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin and RenJun, we thought would be graduating in 2019. (Which would have left NCT-Dream with only 2 members, with the idea that new trainees would probably debut sometime in 2020 and become members of NCT-Dream.) However, SM announced at the beginning of 2020 that they decided to make NCT-Dream a permanent group and suspend the whole " graduation" concept, including putting Mark back in the group. As you heard, with their debut song "Chewing Gum" they started out with a very young and cute concept that fit the fact that they were all teenagers. But over the years, their style and concept has grown and evolved like the members of the group. Any songs from 2016-17 you should expect to have that cute, young vibe. It wasn't until their "Boom" comeback era, after Mark had "graduated" and the members were starting to grow up, that their style and sound really started to take on a more mature edge. NCT-Dream's "Candy" on the other hand, is a remake of the iconic song "Candy" by SM's very first Idol group H.O.T. in 1996. Therefore, if you look up NCT-Dream's MV, you will see it's supposed to be a homage to H.O.T.'s original version. If you compare Dream's version with H.O.T.'s original MV, you will see all the similarities in NCT-Dream's MV. Dream's version takes the iconic, nostalgic style of H.O.T.'s song and adds modern elements to update it for the new century. H.O.T.'s original song is about being addicted to a girl like a piece of candy. Even though you want to break up with her and stop seeing her, she keeps luring you back in with her sweetness and beauty. Like your favorite candy, you can't give her up no matter how hard you try. As you will see, NCT-Dream's version of the song reinterprets the song and gives it a different meaning. "Candy" is one of H.O.T.'s most iconic songs, and literally every new group, both boy groups and girl groups, learn the song and choreography and they perform it on music programs as one of their rookie performances. I doubt you could find a Kpop artist -- or even a Korean of any age -- who doesn't know H.O.T.'s "Candy." That is why NCT-Dream's version is so meaningful for anyone who knows the song's history and one of the reasons why it has quickly become so popular. "Hot Sauce" was on their first full length album, which came out in 2021, but it is NOT their first album. They have been producing mini albums and full group NCT albums since 2016. In "Glitch Mode" NCT- Dream is comparing falling in love to being stuck in a video game. Thoughts of that person that they have a crush on make them feel like they are stuck like a glitch in a malfunctioning video game, and they can't break free or move on because the glitch keeps them stuck there. The MV and live stages look like a video game or arcade, etc. because the whole concept is supposed to be video game themed. "We Go Up" is considered Mark's "graduation" song. Some of the scenes in the MV are actually the members just celebrating Mark's last MV with the NCT-Dream members and the members saying goodbye to him as their leader, etc. That's why this song and MV is full of feels. Mark is the oldest member of NCT-Dream and he had recently turned 19 right before their "We Go Up" comeback, so that is why that song was a graduation celebration. "ISTJ" was Dream's newest song, which is why you heard the whole song because they were on Dingo's Killing Voice to promote their "ISTJ" comeback. To get to know NCT-Dream better, you should check out their MVs in order of when they were released. As you will start to discover as you go along, you will see and hear how their style has grown and changed over time. That is also part of the group's concept. As the members grow and mature so too does their sound and style. That is why they debuted with their song "Chewing Gum," which has a very cute and bubbly concept that fits the fact that they were all teenagers at the time. They had to grow and mature into the sound you hear now. SM's no dummy when it comes to creating groups that gain global popularity. It just goes to show you why it's one of the Big 3 entertainment companies in the world. :D As mentioned before, NCT stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new-original) Culture Technology, which is what the group as a whole is designed to be. They are a new and original concept and style of Kpop group that embraces all cultures and technologies to reach everyone around the world. Fun fact: Neo City is the city that NCT is from. Because the group is made up of so many diverse members who are from all over the world, when they come together as one group, they are said to reside in Neo City. Which is why NCT fans are NCTzens and WayV's fans are WayZenNi -- the zen connecting them with NCT (WayZenNi in Chinese means WeishenV (WayV in Chinese) will cherish you) -- because we are citizens of the Neo city. We fans are also multi-cultural and diverse from all over the world and from all walks of life, so we are invited to become citizens of SM's/NCT's Neo City. Although NCT officially started debuting in April 2016 with NCT-U, NCT was actually introduced to the media in February 2016 as part of SM's new Neo Culture Technology concept. If you want to see NCT's official debut showcase, check out ua-cam.com/video/Ky5NvWsXnn8/v-deo.html. (Skip to 16:00 this is the part that has to do with NCT.) You don't necessarily need to react to it if you don't want, but you should check it out. I think it's kind of interesting to hear Lee SooMan's (SM's founder) explanation about the creation of Neo Culture Technology (Neo Culture Technology is really more encompassing than just NCT, the Kpop group is just one part of SM's Neo Culture concept, which has now morphed into SM's SM Culture Universe and Kwangya) and it's cool to see the epic way NCT was introduced to the media. The very first members of NCT entered wearing masks and their identities were revealed as they removed their masks. Lee SooMan is kind of known for being a little extra and going over the top, and this presentation is a good example of that. LOL
So happy with this reaction. Answers: Mark and Haechan are in NCT 127 so they've done killing voice twice. All the members in NCT Dream are 21+. I know they look like teenagers. They got ID'd once for drinking cause they look so young. Pink sweater is Jisung. Yes your correct, he is the awkward member and the shyest idol I have ever seen. But when performaning he's a different person. Stage presence go crazy with him on stage. Starting from Mark at the end, the names are, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle and Haechan. The new NCT unit is called NCT Wish which is a Japanese unit. I call them baby neos cause there new For me I listen to NCT 127 title tracks more than dream and NCT Dream bsides+performances more than NCT 127. Then for WayV I listen to both their title tracks and Bsides. But all in all? I love watching them more than anything so I would love a day for NCT.
NCT-Dream is an SM group, so by now amazing vocals and harmonies are just what you should expect. SM is considered the vocal powerhouse of the industry and all of its artists receive intense vocal training, even their rappers. All of SM's rappers are known for the fact that they are also amazing vocalists, and most of them could even fill in as a main vocalist when needed. SM is known for their artists sounding even better live then they do on their albums. They train by singing while doing intense cardio exercises to increase endurance and stamina in order to sing live while performing complex choreography and to be able to do it for hours in concert while maintaining stable and flawless vocals the whole time. SM artists are recognized as the premier vocalists of the industry.
Mark and Haechan are in both 127 and Dream. So, they are here twice😊 The boys work really hard. Thank you for supporting the groups. Please allow me to mention the other group in this comment. Infinite is the group from 2nd gen. Kim Sunggyu, the group leader also visited this show twice, as a group and his solo.
@23:36 DOESN'T HE??? i agree with you 100%; i've always thought he reminds me of mingi!!!! that's jisung btw and he's the youngest in dream (2002 liner!)
Just a little fun fact, that breakdown in ISTJ is SM Entertainment's trademark. They've been doing this kind of thing wherein it looks like its a whole different song. They've been doing this since early 2000's as far as I know. Anyways, Mark isn't the only one who did Killing Voice twice. There's also Haechan (the one in far right). Here's the members in order from left to right: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, and Haechan.
CACTUS is mark’s dedicated father. His name is CHENLE, nct dream’s main vocal (along with Renjun and Haechan) Chenle is a child prodigy in China before he joined SM. (about CHENLE being mark’s Dad, you will get the inside joke pretty soon if you watch more of their contents..) 😂😂😂
nct dream probably have the most diverse discography out of all nct units(they don’t just have happy songs😆 countdown-hard hitting song with hard hitting choreo,119 and drippin - a bit too adult songs for them at that time😂they were like 16-18, teddy bear - sensual lullaby, to my first - breakup song to the first love that didn’t work out, arcade - another choreo song with a good bit, poison - very sexy r&b song, better than gold - very fun, funky song, dreaming - house r&b song with good hook, love again - r&b hiphop song with 90’s elements, overall they do have more of an r&b songs) in this killing voice they chose songs that are more loved by koreans, they chart the best out of all units in korea, some of these songs (b sides especially) were really popular and charted as well as their title tracks, nct dream’s sound is favoured by korean audience and 127’s is more for international fans, that’s one of the differences different units have
Nct Dream is my fav unit ever in Nct. The reason that I like them very much is bcuz of how diverse their discography is. They not only have cute and refreshing songs like Chewing Gum, My First and Last, Candy etc but they also have charismatic hard hitting songs like 119, Ridin, SOS etc. Bcuz of their graduation story, they also have emotional and meaningful songs like Dear Dream, Graduation, Rainbow etc. They also have R&B kinda songs like Poisin. Funky songs like Better Than Gold. Breakup songs like To My First. Hyper songs like Trigger The Fever. There are many more diverse songs of them I love and these are some of them. I hope you will react more to them. Also they will have a comeback (not official yet but they have already given us some spoilers) and I hope you will look forward to it💚
NCT going to have a new sub unit NCT WISH (Japanese unit) debut on 21 Feb. So we have 6 sub-units: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, NCT DoJaeJung (NCT 127 members Doyoung, Jaehyun & Jungwoo), and NCT Wish..a total of 26 members! 🤗
OMG YAAAS. 7DREAM actually is my favorite unit of NCT. The 2nd guy in yellow sweater 'RENJUN' is my favorite. He have an amazing/angelic/sweet voice though I'm sad he's not able to showcase it here especially he's sick during the filming. Left : Mark - Renjun - Jeno - Jaemin - Jisung - Chenle - Haechan : Right Hope you guys will check out more of this unit. NCT DREAM debuted at such a young age with average of 15.8 yrs old. All of them are adults now with 24 being the oldest and 21 the youngest Their discography amazingly showcases their growth. I'm not even that young anymore (I stan EXO since debut 😅) yet I love 7Dream's music too; even the songs catered to the young audience haha
The babies. They are all grown... Great reaction guys. Left to right: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, Haechan Both Mark and Haechan are in NCT 127 Killing Voice Teal/blue hair that wasn't standing straight is Jisung, he was the Maknae when NCT was (OT23). Very tall, deepest voice, he is our shy baby. Chenle, cream top 2nd from the right is my MVP... he pushes vocally. Chinese member. Prodigy. Haechan, whose name means 'FullSun' vocals beam just as bright, high... Renjun, yellow sweater was under the weather, still killed it. Chinese member. Listen to his live vocals... Cover|RENJUN, XIAOJUN - 永不失联的爱 (Unbreakable Love) Mark, Jeno, Jaemin(wearing Han shirt) are rappers but they all sing. SM Entertainment is not playing when it comes to training everyone to sing. They want a full return on their investment.
Haechan, the one on the far right with the black hair, is also in NCT 127 and NCT Dream along with Mark! He was the one with the pink hair and the high voice in the 127 killing voice and so yes, him and Mark have both done two killing voices!
Thank u for reaction to nctdream☆, this is recomendation b-side song nctdream that heal me everytime (never goodbye, teddy bear, graduation, life is still going on). I watch exo too in this chanel^^
Renjun, the one next to Mark has an amazing and underrated voice but unfortunately he wasn't able to showcase it well here bc he was sick :( Chenle also though has an amazing voice I'm glad he gets a lot of recognition when people watch this killing voice.
they are really the most adorable group ever, they are still NCT's babies and after everything they went through with the graduation system which was very traumatising for them, being that successful at this young age is just amazing. they are a 3rd generation group but their average age belong to the 4th generation. when it comes to NCT DREAM you should watch their mv and song in order from their debut until now. they are the definition of Growth. try to check them more really worth it Chewing gum My first and Last (without Jaemin because he was injured) Dunk shot We young (without Jaemin) Go ( we go up Joy Candle light Boom (No mark) because of the graduation RidIn ( without mark) Hot sauce ( Mark's comeback as Leader) Glitch mode Beatbox Candy Graduation Best friend ever Broken Melodies and last one ISTJ they have song about themselves which are DEAR DREAM (farewell to Mark) Rewind Graduation Rainbow Like we just met
Wow your biases are the same as mine. They are some of the least biased in nct and I'm so sad because they are some of few members that have been training and have been "kinda famous" since childhood. Their technic and talent is incredible. Anyways stan nct haha
More NCT! Hooray! Also, you should do Winner's killing voice. It's from ages ago but it's great and they have some bangers (also Mino has done one Killing Voice and one Killing Verse, so as many as Mark and Haechan)
WHAT?!? THERE SO MUCH I WANT TO WATCH, SO LITTLE TIME. Simon really does need to quit work so we can do this full time! If only we could earn a living doing this. We would do so much. K x
@@alongfortheridereacts Yeah, Killing Verse came first and is a cool way to see the solo work of a bunch of rappers, some from idol groups and some not. Mamamoo were the first ones to do a Killing Voice instead
Thank you for your reaction! Nct dream will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ Their discography personally is precious to me because they have a lot of songs about youthful innocent feelings and emotional experience of young people. I am ten years older than them but this themes are so touching to me. I also think their friendship is something special and rare. Other groups with members that are close to each other feel more like a family/siblings to me, but Dreamies feel more like real friends. That’s how I feel about them.
Nct Dream has a concept, "dreamy" and bright. Their songs are also related to growth since as they grew their concepts adapt very well to their ages 💓 they debuted in 2016 when they were 14-16 years old, currently 21-23 years old. They are very happy and cute, perhaps because they took care of each other and grew up together since they were children, they have a relationship so precious. Thanks for the reaction ❤
that's cute, i never thought of dream songs as christmas songs, but i totally get what you mean!!! also, i'm really glad that you noticed their low harmonies early on, because i think it's one of nct dream's speciality. they sang almost the whole video in an ensemble (even the ones not being highlighted in each parts), and i feel like more ppl need to take notice of that. love how you really like mr. cactus (chenle) and deep boy (jisung/jeno)!!! u really grabbed all the important points of the video, thank you for the reaction
if u ever think about reacting to more nct dream i hope u watch their compilations, i think u will love their personalities they have the best chemistry ever
Loved the reaction! The guy at the end is Haechan and he was also in nct 127's killing voice! The blue haired guy Kerry likes is Jisung the youngest (maknae) he's almost 22yo (his birthday is actually next week) which is crazy since they debuted in 2016. 8th year in the industry. Chenle is cactus and the one that Simon likes, I love his voice too! They definitely have a cuter, sweeter sound because they debuted so young but their sound has grown with them If you get the chance you should check out TVXQ's killing voice, they're also from SM but from the 2nd generation of kpop so one of the OG's and of course they've also got crazy vocals.
11:45 i LITERALLY SAID THAT THIS PART OF THE SONG SOUNDS LIKE “santa claus is comingggg to townnn” FOR THE LONGEST TIME im so glad that you pointed it out and im not the only one
My very first look into NCT Dream was them appearing on the UA-cam show, Good Mythical Morning with Rhett and Link. I knew from that episode that Jaemin would be my NCT Dream bias and Jisung my bias wrecker. Chenle might be my bias wrecker wrecker but Heachan... They had all been too freaking adorable that I knew at some point I would have to get to know them more, and now I'm a baby NCTzen. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm getting it along with all the other groups I have gotten into this past year.
Nct dream is my fave unit and probably my fave kpop group for years now (its always between them and seventeen)! I looove the more positive, cute and easy going concepts, plus since Im their age is soooo easy to relate with them- Absolutely love them, theyre the good chaotic energy we all need sometimes, LOVE their voices... every single one of them is sooooo unique, its perfect. Edit: Im just going to add that they are all of legal age, so no need to worry about small comments xD Jisung is the youngest tho so I always am more careful when it comes to him bc I remember him being 14-
I think Simon tends to like the same folks I do hehe - yeah they are all incredible. Mark and Haechan are so great. And yes have an NCT Dayyyyy - Cactus is Chenle 💗
Other comments have already said it, but Haechan (vocalist on the far right with the high pitched voice) is also in NCT 127, so he was in both Killing Voices like Mark! All the NCT units are incredibly talented and worth the dive, so if you give them an assigned day it would be much appreciated and needed lol The members of NCT Dream are (left to right): Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle and Haechan. Glad you liked this so much! People often aren't prepared for how different the NCT units are to each other, while at the same time representing different sides of an overall "Neo" sound that NCT are known for. Dream definitely are more on the cute side, they debuted in 2016 (same year as 127) and all the members were children (14-17 years old) and their sound matched their age and has evolved and matured with them over the years. But they still held onto their signature bright and high energy vibe. Now the members are 21-24 years old so it's safe to "choose" them if you want lmao Both Mark and Haechan have said that being in both 127 and Dream, while incredibly stressful and difficult, is more a matter of adjusting to 2 different environments that they love. So unless they're lying I think it's safe to say they like both units, but for different things lol And all the members are close and pretty good friends so there's no shortage of support for the two of them, between each other and their unit mates. Mark and Haechan are extremely close due to their prolonged exposure to each other lol The other NCT units you have yet to check out are NCT U (a rotational unit that includes EVERY member of NCT so every song has a different lineup), WayV (the Chinese subunit), NCT DoJaeJung (an R&B vocal unit made up of 3 vocalists from 127) and NCT Wish (the newest, youngest and final unit - the Japanese unit). None of these units have Killing Voices unfortunately but if you check them out I highly recommend each of these songs: - NCT U "Baggy Jeans" - WayV "On My Youth" - NCT DJJ "Perfume" - NCT Wish "NASA"
100% wld loooove an Nct Day...or an Nct U day...u get all members but in all sorts of combination of members from all units...but u need to watch DJJ...dojaejung n WayV too😅
Yeah right I thought exactly the same thing that you said That’s the shirt that han wore at the airport right I was so surprised that time you said because I also confused too lol
You really need to do the Godfathers of K-pop, Big Bang. This is the group the other groups idolize, GDragon is probably the most influential K-pop idol. Great songs, great MVs and great live shows.
Finaaaaaaaally :D Gosh how I love the SM artists and their vocals (no wonder SM Entertainment is known not just for their visuals but also their top tier vocals)... NCT is special. Love the concept... although I am kinda happy that they stopped the infinite adding of members. NCT Wish is the newest unit but it will be japanese based and Mark aint in it. They are like WayV whose main market will be out of Korea. Japan with Wish and China with WayV. Dream unit was VEEEERY YOUNG when they debuted so thats why their older stuff sounds more bubbly and teenage-ish. Its kinda cool to see the evolution of this particular unit though.
Someone already mentioned about Haechan being in 127 as well so I wont go into that. I am a big Chenle fan and he doesnt get much credit because he tends to be overshadowed by Haechan's unique and amazing voice so I am so happy that you noticed him
welll..haechan is the stronger vocalist so it’s not his fault if he’s overpowering the other voices in the choruses 😭his vocal technique is the best in dream
I'm worried for you guys if you lock in too many days that are dedicated to certain groups because you won't have flexibility anymore. And it's easy to add a dedicated day, but it's hard to someday down the line say we're no longer going to have that group's day. But eventually that time might come when you want to remove a group day, like if you already went through a group's main hits and most vital things to watch so the views start going down when you get to the less important things, or you might discover other groups that you still haven't met yet and like them too. But if you ever want to remove a dedicated day there will surely be unhappy people because you already committed.
@@alongfortheridereacts Or maybe have an SM Ent. day , where you just cover SM artists so there will be more material from groups who are still in SM and maybe former groups and artists. That would be dope.
also! haechan has done 2 killing voices as he's also in nct 127!
members left to right:
mark, renjun, jeno, jaemin, jisung, chenle, haechan
Just to add to this, Hyolyn from Sistar has also done 2 Killing Voices.
Not you guys biasing the soulmates (Chenle aka Cactus and Jisung aka awkward cutie with the pink sweater and blue hair) that automatically means you are soulmates 😌
Long story but basically Chenle was a child singer in China and Jisung a child dancer in Korea and when they were 10 they met at a festival in China where they performed.
I love this story! So sweet. We are indeed soulmates ❤️
17:38 whenever someone praises Chenle i feel like its a personal accomplishment... Like yes thats my baby singing 😂
Same! 🥹

In their Killing Voice performance, from left to right, the members are:
> Mark is the leader of Dream, the main rapper and a dancer (that is also an amazing singer because he is a member of SM Entertainment.) Mark is also an original member of NCT-U, NCT-127 and SuperM; he is Korean-Canadian.
> RenJun is a main vocalist; he is Chinese (He actually learned Korean as a child and was bilingual in Mandarin and Korean before joining SM. Everyone jokes that he is more fluent in Korean than the Korean members.)
>Jeno is a lead rapper (who became the main rapper and de facto leader when Mark "graduated.")
> Jaemin is a lead rapper, lead dancer and sub-vocalist.
(However, now that NCT-WISH just debuted a few days ago, new member Sakuya, who is currently 15, is now officially the maknae of NCT.)
> Chenle is a main vocalist; he is Chinese. (He is a child prodigy who was a fairly famous actor and singer as a child in China.)
> Haechan (the one who often has the high notes) is a main vocalist and lead dancer; he is also a member of NCT-127, who had pink hair in the NCT-127 Killing Voice performance.
NCT-Dream is NCT's third sub-unit, which began in August 2016, and it is made up of the 7 youngest members of NCT at the time. All the Dream members are currently between the ages of 21-24 years old -- they were 14-17 when they debuted. (They are no longer the youngest members now that NCT's 5th sub-unit, NCT-WISH, just debuted with 6 new members, making NCT a 26-member group in total.)
SM originally created this sub-unit with the idea that if they had a trainee that they felt was ready to debut even though they were really young, they would start out as a member of NCT-Dream.
As mentioned before, NCT stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new-original) Culture Technology, which is what the group as a whole is designed to be.
LOL
Yo, bro, u gave whole heart and soul into this message 😂💚
Good job 🎉
In addition, Jaemin is also in his position as the center, visual in the group
Addition for Jeno: visuals
They are now in their 20s but still babies for real~ they actually call each other baby because they know each other since their very early 10s
You 2 are absolutely adorable, the way you called Chenle Cactus and was laughing along the way was so cute hahahaha
Thank you so much 💓
Renjun, the guy in yellow, was sick when this was recorded. You can tell he lost his voice. 😢 but he still nailed it
as someone whos in love with Renjn's tone and emotion when he sings I felt soooo robbed ngl, like could have just waited T-T
@@wolfroarxx6055however their schedule was very hectic at the time and probably had no time to reschedule
So happy with this reaction.

Mark and Haechan are in NCT 127 so they've done killing voice twice.
I call them baby neos cause there new
For me I listen to NCT 127 title tracks more than dream and NCT Dream bsides+performances more than NCT 127. Then for WayV I listen to both their title tracks and Bsides. But all in all? I love watching them more than anything so I would love a day for NCT.
As a person who biases Chenle (cactus), I personally think that the nickname cactus suits him so well :)))
The first song, Candy, is a cover of a famous 1st generation kpop song by H.O.T. That's why they were saying H.O.T. N.C.T.
That's crazy! But I see it. SM really does produce amazing groups.
10:46 the guy in the white jacket at the other end of the group, Haechan, he is also in nct127 so he has also done two killing voices along with Mark
Mark and Haechan are in both 127 and Dream. So, they are here twice😊 The boys work really hard. Thank you for supporting the groups.
Please allow me to mention the other group in this comment. Infinite is the group from 2nd gen. Kim Sunggyu, the group leader also visited this show twice, as a group and his solo.
you guys should watch their debut and then their latest release!!
you’ll get shocked by how much they matured.
@23:36 DOESN'T HE??? i agree with you 100%; i've always thought he reminds me of mingi!!!! that's jisung btw and he's the youngest in dream (2002 liner!)
I never thought about it before today but I agreeeeee :O
@@thezircadia i'm so glad it's not just me haha
More NCT Dream! Watch the performance video of Broken Melodies!
agree, broken melodies is my fav song too❤
Just a little fun fact, that breakdown in ISTJ is SM Entertainment's trademark.
His name is CHENLE, nct dream’s main vocal (along with Renjun and Haechan)
Chenle is a child prodigy in China before he joined SM.
(about CHENLE being mark’s Dad, you will get the inside joke pretty soon if you watch more of their contents..) 😂😂😂
nct dream probably have the most diverse discography out of all nct units(they don’t just have happy songs😆 countdown-hard hitting song with hard hitting choreo,119 and drippin - a bit too adult songs for them at that time😂they were like 16-18, teddy bear - sensual lullaby, to my first - breakup song to the first love that didn’t work out, arcade - another choreo song with a good bit, poison - very sexy r&b song, better than gold - very fun, funky song, dreaming - house r&b song with good hook, love again - r&b hiphop song with 90’s elements, overall they do have more of an r&b songs)
in this killing voice they chose songs that are more loved by koreans, they chart the best out of all units in korea, some of these songs (b sides especially) were really popular and charted as well as their title tracks, nct dream’s sound is favoured by korean audience and 127’s is more for international fans, that’s one of the differences different units have
Nct Dream is my fav unit ever in Nct.
NCT Dream!! my babies
19:19 thank you for loving Chenle 🫰🏻
Now nct wish are the new baby’s , but yeah nct debuted with an average age of 15, mark with 17 and the two youngest with 14.
OMG YAAAS. 7DREAM actually is my favorite unit of NCT.
The 2nd guy in yellow sweater 'RENJUN' is my favorite.
He have an amazing/angelic/sweet voice though I'm sad he's not able to showcase it here especially he's sick during the filming.
Left : Mark - Renjun - Jeno - Jaemin - Jisung - Chenle - Haechan : Right
Hope you guys will check out more of this unit.
NCT DREAM debuted at such a young age with average of 15.8 yrs old.
All of them are adults now with 24 being the oldest and 21 the youngest
Their discography amazingly showcases their growth.
I'm not even that young anymore (I stan EXO since debut 😅) yet I love 7Dream's music too; even the songs catered to the young audience haha
Deep guy- jisung. He’s so cute… you’ll discover it in their discography…
You’ll see them as nct “kids” then “teens” to now “adults” haha
Riize is also a new group SM with 2 previous members of NCT U. You will LOVE their song Get a Guitar. And new group NCT Wish.
I think you’d have fun watching the fan made compilations of nct
The babies. They are all grown... Great reaction guys.
Left to right: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle, Haechan
Both Mark and Haechan are in NCT 127 Killing Voice
Teal/blue hair that wasn't standing straight is Jisung, he was the Maknae when NCT was (OT23).
Cover|RENJUN, XIAOJUN - 永不失联的爱 (Unbreakable Love)
Mark, Jeno, Jaemin(wearing Han shirt) are rappers but they all sing. SM Entertainment is not playing when it comes to training everyone to sing. They want a full return on their investment.
Just wanna say Yesssss NCt needs a day! lol maybe NCThursday? lol Thursday is my Monday and would give me happyness to start my work week lol
i want more video nct dream🤣..thanks for your support
I love Choosedays. It's always fun to get surprised by who is getting a debut on the channel. But eventually you guys will run out of SM groups lol.
And Killing Voices!
they are really the most adorable group ever, they are still NCT's babies and after everything they went through with the graduation system which was very traumatising for them, being that successful at this young age is just amazing. they are a 3rd generation group but their average age belong to the 4th generation.
when it comes to NCT DREAM you should watch their mv and song in order from their debut until now. they are the definition of Growth. try to check them more really worth it
Chewing gum
My first and Last (without Jaemin because he was injured)
Dunk shot
We young (without Jaemin)
Go (

Candle light
Boom (No mark) because of the graduation
RidIn ( without mark)
Hot sauce ( Mark's comeback as Leader)

Best friend ever
Broken Melodies and last one ISTJ
they have song about themselves which are
DEAR DREAM (farewell to Mark)
Rewind

Rainbow
Like we just met
Haechan is also in killing voice
In killing voice nct127 he is pink hair
I knew I recognised his voice!
I like him...
Cactus?
Yeah
Lol
The whole reactions both of you have smile plastered on your face. That's mirroring me whenever i hear Dreamies' songs
3:57 *From left to right* :
MARK (Leader), RENJUN, JENO, JAEMIN, JISUNG (Maknae), CHENLE and HAECHAN.
Killing Verse?! What's that?! Tell us more.
@@alongfortheridereactsit’s the same concept as killing voice but with K-rappers🔥
Haechan on the far right is also in NCT 127 and has done 2 killing voices. He had pink hair in the 127 killing voice though
Yes we need an NCT day. 127, Dream, WayV, and Wish, you will love this group.
Jisung is an awkward shy boy why would you call him out like that 😭
FINALLY SOMEONE SEES IT! I have said forever that Jisung looks like Mingi!!!🎉
They definitely have a cuter, sweeter sound because they debuted so young but their sound has grown with them
If you get the chance you should check out TVXQ's killing voice, they're also from SM but from the 2nd generation of kpop so one of the OG's and of course they've also got crazy vocals.
The cactus guy that Simon refer to is Chenle...he doesn't has a water bottle on the floor in the beginning as he brought his own drink bottle.
@@woodstock8d Oh shoot thanks, I couldn't see the water bottles on the smaller screen so I just assumed
they debuted when the youngest only 14
11:45 i LITERALLY SAID THAT THIS PART OF THE SONG SOUNDS LIKE “santa claus is comingggg to townnn” FOR THE LONGEST TIME im so glad that you pointed it out and im not the only one
next please reaction nct nation concert too,, thank u^^
20:37 same reaction 😭😭
My very first look into NCT Dream was them appearing on the UA-cam show, Good Mythical Morning with Rhett and Link. I knew from that episode that Jaemin would be my NCT Dream bias and Jisung my bias wrecker. Chenle might be my bias wrecker wrecker but Heachan... They had all been too freaking adorable that I knew at some point I would have to get to know them more, and now I'm a baby NCTzen. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm getting it along with all the other groups I have gotten into this past year.
LOVE THE DREAMIES
I'm a Renjun bias, but Chenle is 100% the VIP here.
NCT DREAM!!! >>>
jaemin (pink hair) is my ult bias!! but i love all of the dreamies
Nct dream is my fave unit and probably my fave kpop group for years now (its always between them and seventeen)!
I looove the more positive, cute and easy going concepts, plus since Im their age is soooo easy to relate with them-
Absolutely love them, theyre the good chaotic energy we all need sometimes, LOVE their voices... every single one of them is sooooo unique, its perfect.
Edit: Im just going to add that they are all of legal age, so no need to worry about small comments xD Jisung is the youngest tho so I always am more careful when it comes to him bc I remember him being 14-
YAYYY FINALLY THE DREAMIES
You don't know how I screamed! I love NCT Dream.😂
Thanks for the reaction 😁❤️
Love Nct Dream! Pls react to their newest album ISTJ! I feel like you'll like a lot of the songs from it!💚
I think Simon tends to like the same folks I do hehe - yeah they are all incredible. Mark and Haechan are so great. And yes have an NCT Dayyyyy - Cactus is Chenle 💗
Other comments have already said it, but Haechan (vocalist on the far right with the high pitched voice) is also in NCT 127, so he was in both Killing Voices like Mark! All the NCT units are incredibly talented and worth the dive, so if you give them an assigned day it would be much appreciated and needed lol
The members of NCT Dream are (left to right): Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Chenle and Haechan.
Now the members are 21-24 years old so it's safe to "choose" them if you want lmao
Both Mark and Haechan have said that being in both 127 and Dream, while incredibly stressful and difficult, is more a matter of adjusting to 2 different environments that they love. So unless they're lying I think it's safe to say they like both units, but for different things lol And all the members are close and pretty good friends so there's no shortage of support for the two of them, between each other and their unit mates. Mark and Haechan are extremely close due to their prolonged exposure to each other lol
The other NCT units you have yet to check out are NCT U (a rotational unit that includes EVERY member of NCT so every song has a different lineup), WayV (the Chinese subunit), NCT DoJaeJung (an R&B vocal unit made up of 3 vocalists from 127) and NCT Wish (the newest, youngest and final unit - the Japanese unit). None of these units have Killing Voices unfortunately but if you check them out I highly recommend each of these songs:
- NCT U "Baggy Jeans"
- WayV "On My Youth"
- NCT DJJ "Perfume"
- NCT Wish "NASA"
100% wld loooove an Nct Day...or an Nct U day...u get all members but in all sorts of combination of members from all units...but u need to watch DJJ...dojaejung n WayV too😅
LOL!!! I also hear a lot of christmas when hearing a lot of these songs... though I was alone.
sing it boy
Yeah right I thought exactly the same thing that you said
That’s the shirt that han wore at the airport right
I was so surprised that time you said because I also confused too lol
Yaaay!! Finallyyy ❤❤ You can also watch chewing gum mv and their latest mv to compare hahahaha they've grown so much
I agree with a NCT U day and WayV too :)
Yeaaayyy My favorite cute baby Dreamies😂
You really need to do the Godfathers of K-pop, Big Bang. This is the group the other groups idolize, GDragon is probably the most influential K-pop idol. Great songs, great MVs and great live shows.
more reaction to NCT DREAM pliss
Yay!!! Nct day! 💚
Next reaction Winner killing voice❤
Please react to the all NCT's: NCT, 127, NCT Dream, NCT U, Wayv, NCT DoJaeJung and NCT WISH
Hayyyy please next reaction album nct dream
Please react to NCT DREAM JOY and NCT 127 BE THERE FOR ME!!! 💚 These are christmas songs!!
20:38 LITERALLY ME
Luv Haechan ❤
Haechan jg ikut 2 killing voice...dia jg di dream dan 127
Vocal nya unik bngt
please try billlie at some point! they're so underrated and deserve so much more
More Killing voice maybe can I recommend Winner?! lol
also Winners is subtitled! lol
Finally.......
our hardworking mark is just not in wayv and nct wish!!
The guy you said looks awkward, he is. lol he is kind of shy and gets embarrassed easily. lol
Try to listen nct wish next
exo and nctdream are my top groups, these two have the best most unskippable discography in all of kpop ✋🏼😫🤚🏼
Haechan’s voice was so powerful and dominant in every chorus (shocker!) truly one of the best vocalists in the industry
Marks not in WayV either... just saying, they are also NCT but the Chinese unit.
Katy, you make a very good point!
@@alongfortheridereacts Or maybe have an SM Ent. day , where you just cover SM artists so there will be more material from groups who are still in SM and maybe former groups and artists. That would be dope.
NCT WISH are all new members! Mark isn't in it
YESS CHENLE WAS SO GOOD
