The oldest member, Taeil, is actually turning 30 this year which is genuinely crazy now that I think about it. The fact that they are still up and running when most 3rd gen groups are either not promoting together anymore or have missing members due to mandatory military service just shows how young these guys debuted. I always say they kinda pioneered the 4th gen aesthetic because they were so 4th gen coded before 4th gen even existed.
Yeah they really caught me out with their vibe and aesthetic. I felt like I KNEW they were 4th gen just by watching and listening to fact check a few months back. Now I know they're not, I'm very surprised!!

Mark is from the North American part of the British Empire, he is Canadian. Johnny once got told his English was really good, to which he replied, "I am from Chicago!" Taeyong as the leader of NCT had to learn English, which I am sure Johnny, Ten, and Mark rubbed off onto him. Although personally to me, when Tae speaks in English, he sounds like he is from New York. Maybe fits better for the rapper personality!😂❤😂

It wasn't Porsche that had an issue with the lyrics, it's Korean broadcasting rules - they're really strict about advertising, so you can't say brand names in lyrics or have logos showing on clothing, drink bottles etc. unless it's actually a paid promotion/product placement. That's why in most music show stages artists will have tape running through/over clothing logos, and why they change the lyrics if there's a brand mentioned.
Some trivia. The eldest NCT member Taeil is the same age as the youngest EXO member Sehun. One NCT member Johnny (the one on the far left) was originally training with the members who were gonna debut as EXO so he would've been their 13th member but ultimately did not debut with them. I'm not sure if there was ever any exact answer revealed for why. Maybe they just ended up wanting an even number of 12 for the EXO lore or thought Johnny was still too young.
johnny trained at the same time as them but there was never any indication that he was actually ever in the exo debut lineup. there are always lots of trainees at sm at one time and most of them don't end up debuting. when exo debuted johnny had only just moved to korea and was not ready to debut

They are from SM Entertainment, vocally trained... they are also EXO baby brothers. 'NCT DREAM' has a Killing Voice you should check out as well. One thing you should know about NCT as a group is they are also great dancers. NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV, NCT U, all have stellar dance practice vids you should watch. This Killing Voice performance, just like the other Killing Voice performances you have watched, is supposed to showcase NCT-127's outstanding vocals, so yet again, what you are hearing is a complication of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They have a lot of songs, so you are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing parts from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song.) Also, several of these songs are B-side tracks that don't have MVs, so you'll have to check out live performances instead. Because NCT is an SM Entertainment group, it shouldn't be a surprise that they are also amazing singers. As you are starting to discover, SM is known for having some of the best singers in the industry. You can't be an SM artist without having unbelievable vocal abilities. Even the company's rappers focus on vocal training. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. All of SM's artists and groups are known for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies. And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM. In this performance there are 9 members -- from left to right: *Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), pink hair Haechan (main vocalist and also a member of NCT-Dream), *Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer, who is also part of SuperM), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Taeil (main vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), *Mark (main rapper and dancer, who is the leader of NCT-Dream and a member of SuperM) and *Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper). Just like with EXO, there is never just one main vocalist or rapper, etc. NCT has 26 members, so every sub-unit will have more than one main vocalist and more than one rapper. Plus, Kpop groups very rarely have only one main anything, especially when you are talking about the main vocalist in an SM group. SM is known for being a vocal powerhouse, so pretty much all their artists will be able to step in as a main vocalist when needed. As I may have mentioned before, Taeil is the oldest of all of NCT and he is currently 29 and Haechan is the youngest in NCT-127 at 23. However, if you want to know who is the youngest out of all the NCT members, that would currently be NCT-Dream member, Jisung, who is 21. (Although, after 7 years, he won't be the youngest much longer when the 6 new members of NCT's "New Team" Japanese sub-unit debuts soon. "New Team" member Sakuya, who is currently 15, will officially be the maknae. They just released their first pre-debut song, "Hands Up" a few weeks ago.) NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 20 members. And the group right now as a whole has 4 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and WayV. (NCT will officially become a 26-member group when NCT's 5th sub-unit the "New Team" debuts.) Therefore, their style is meant to be new and original with elements that embrace different cultures and technologies to create their sound. What you just heard is considered NCT-style, they don't really have a traditional music style that you can attach to them. NCT-127 is NCT's second sub-unit, which debuted in July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit, so the member lineup stays the same most of the time. The 127 in this unit's name stands for the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea, on a map of the world, which means it's 127's job to represent Seoul -- the birthplace of Kpop -- around the world.
That's why some of NCT-127's songs are part of NCT-127 mini albums and other songs are part of full albums that include songs from all of NCT's sub-units. Hence, why some of the album descriptions mention NCT-127 and others just say NCT. "Fire Truck" was NCT-127's debut song, and at that time there were only 7 members of NCT who were in the "Fire Truck" MV -- Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Taeil, Yuta, Winwin and Haechan. However, now that NCT has 9/10 members they also include Johnny and Jungwoo in the song whenever they perform it. Fun fact: "Limitless" came out in January 2017 and its Johnny's official debut in NCT and Doyoung's debut as a member of NCT-127 (Doyoung first debuted as one of the very first members of NCT in NCT-U's debut song "The 7th Sense", but he was not part of NCT-127's debut). Although "Touch" is considered a B-side song, there is an MV you need to check out. This song is super cute. The part at the beginning where Mark said, "ummm ...", that was actually part of the song. If you listen to the full song, you will hear him do the same thing in the MV. "Touch" came out the year that 127 and Dream traded concepts. "Touch" is very cute, sweet and soft, which is what we were more accustomed to with NCT-Dream. And, around that time Dream came out with a song called "Go" that was much more hype and hardcore, which is what NCT-127 is more known for. What you heard was the Korean version of "Highway to Heaven," but if you watch the MV for the song, you will see they also have an all-English version. ("Highway to Heaven" was released during their North American leg of their concert tour in 2019.) They have an all-English version of some of their songs because NCT-127 promotes a lot in the U.S. "Lemonade" is a B-side song so it only has a short track video MV to go with it. However, if you want to hear the whole song, you have to watch NCT-127's "Lemonade" dance practice video. Like most of their B-side songs, "Back 2 U" is a song that they perform in concert, so you should check out a live performance if you want to hear the whole song. Right, "Faster" was just an (INST) instrumental version of the song, which means it's just the music and they don't sing. "Faster (INST)" was the intro to "2 Baddies," so Johnny was supposed to be introducing "2 Baddies" at that moment while "Faster" was playing. "2 Baddies" was their most recent comeback song at the time and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote "2 Baddies," which is why you heard that whole song. "Designer" was also a song on their 2 Baddies album. NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. For example, there are 11 native Korean members (*Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, *Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo, and new members Sion and Daeyoung), *Mark is Korean-Canadian, *Johnny is Korean-American (from Chicago), 5 Japanese members (Yuta and new members Riku, Yushi, Ryo and Sakuya), *Ten is Thai, *YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages. NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. For example, they are just about to add a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc. So, this year is NCT's 8th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies (or the new members who were part of a reality survival show called LASTART), so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted.

NCT 127 are amazing, the vocals are insane and their charisma is unparalled. I know you guys already know that they're actually a 3rd gen group, not 4th gen, but it's even more impressive when you know how impactful their sound has been on the sound for 4th gen boy groups. Another unit of NCT, NCT Dream, also debuted in 2016, but they debuted as children so they're actually the same ages as most 4th gen idols, but with double the experience. I highly recommend watching NCT Dream's Killing Voice as well, it's fantastic. NCT has 26 members and 6 units and every single one of them are mind-blowingly talented!

My beloved nephews! Yay! Seriously, these boys are so wonderful (really all of NCT/WayV is) and the variety and range is only hinted at here. So glad you are back to checking out more of their stuff. They (and EXO) were the reason I got back into kpop back in 2016 because of their debut 7th Sense. They debuted back in 2016 with three different units (NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream) but have been adding members and units every couple years since then. It may seem a lot but I promise it's so fun if you just take your own pace. Can't wait to see you begin to dive in :)
Just to answer the question on why they had to change the lyrics of 2Baddies, it had nothing to do with Porsche having an issue. In Korea they are very strict on branding and when promoting on broadcast stations they couldn't say any brands in anyway other groups have had this issue in the past as well like EXO and their song Lotto, they had to change it to Louder for broadcasts.
hi, loved the reaction, im usually only tuning in for the EXO ones but 127 are awesome so here i am, also it doesn't hurt that they are a bunch of exols and 2 of their members are also in the SuperM with Kai and Baekhyun (the rappers: Taeyong, - white hair and Mark, he is technically Canadian but he did spend a lot of time in USA also) The 2 Baddies situation was about music shows, they cant say brand names on music shows unless its sponsored so they had to replace them.

NCT is not 4th gen but some sub units and some members that joined later on are. Being Jungwoo in 2018 in this unit and most of WAYV being Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery and Lucas who left in 2019. Members that debuted earlier debuted with NCT U. Ten, Taeyong, Jaehyun, Mark and Doyoung were the first members to debut. As well Taeil debuted. Yuta, WinWin and Haechan debuted with NCT 127 debut. Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung debuted with NCT DREAM. Then Doyoung and Johnny joined NCT 127 and then Jungwoo debuted in 127 in 2018. WAYV debuted in 2018 as I said. Later on as well debuted Sungchan and Shotaro in NCT 2020 with NCT U. They were planned for the japanese unit but were removed in 2023 as well as Lucas. In 2023 NCT DOJAEJUNG - Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo debuted. As well as the japanese unit which had a survival show called LASTART. 2 members were already known to debut being Sion and Yushi. There were 5 members that won it being Riku, Daeyoung, Sakuya, Ryo and Jungmin. Jungmin had to leave before pre debut song Hands Up, because of health issues. Sungchan and Shotaro ended up in RIIZE. With rookies who were before planned for NCT but ended up as well in RIIZE being Eunseok and Seunghan. As well Shohei but he as well didn't get to be with RIIZE because of health issues. This might be alot take in but simply. NCT U debuted first, then NCT 127 then NCT DREAM then WAYV then NCT DOJAEJUNG and then NCT WISH(NEW TEAM). NCT 127 was 10 but removed WinWin. Who is apart of WAYV.
Even though all of the NCT's sub-groups can sing very well, NCT 127 does better in singing and rapping. They have 2 of the best vocalists (FMPOV NCT 127 has 4 of 6 strong vocalists in NCT) and 2 of the best rappers in the NCT. YAYYYYY! I love NCT 127. NCT in general is probably like... my 3rd faves, and 127 is kind of my home unit for sure - I just vibe with every song. An incredible fantastic 3rd gen boy group - definitely a junior group to EXO, EXO was like - earrrrly 3rd gen (2012), NCT is 2016. (For a little perspective, sister 3rd gen SM girl group Red Velvet debuted 2014, right in the middle). Their junior group, RIIZE debuted and people said they were 4th gen but some folks are saying now they are 5th gen so idk, hahahaha Anyone in the comments that reads this I'm vv curious if what ya'll think about that....

I'm sure they know that, but Mark did live in New York for 5 yrs, Queens at that, so that's probably what they picked up on. He also doesn't pronounce some words like "about" or words with 'OU' in them like many Canadians do. He pronounces them the way they do in the US so it's not odd that they assumed he was from there

I'm not sure if there was ever any exact answer revealed for why. Maybe they just ended up wanting an even number of 12 for the EXO lore or thought Johnny was still too young.
johnny trained at the same time as them but there was never any indication that he was actually ever in the exo debut lineup. there are always lots of trainees at sm at one time and most of them don't end up debuting. when exo debuted johnny had only just moved to korea and was not ready to debut
@@key8033 EXO themselves have mentioned that they recorded a version of Peter Pan with Johnny once upon a time. So yeah, most likely at some point, even with Johnny only training during the summers, he WAS very much considered to be part of the group that eventually debuted as EXO.
The fact that johnny's mom didn't allowed to him move to korea for training regulary she only allowed to do is when he has vacations in school ..it made him to train longer time as i remember nine years or something ...yes he did trained with EXO members also like baekhyun mentioned them recorded peterpan with him and he supposed to sing wendy cinderella lyrics coz his fluent english ...

They are from SM Entertainment, vocally trained... they are also EXO baby brothers. 'NCT DREAM' has a Killing Voice you should check out as well. One thing you should know about NCT as a group is they are also great dancers. NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV, NCT U, all have stellar dance practice vids you should watch. This Killing Voice performance, just like the other Killing Voice performances you have watched, is supposed to showcase NCT-127's outstanding vocals, so yet again, what you are hearing is a complication of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They have a lot of songs, so you are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing parts from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song.) Also, several of these songs are B-side tracks that don't have MVs, so you'll have to check out live performances instead.
Because NCT is an SM Entertainment group, it shouldn't be a surprise that they are also amazing singers. As you are starting to discover, SM is known for having some of the best singers in the industry. You can't be an SM artist without having unbelievable vocal abilities. Even the company's rappers focus on vocal training. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. All of SM's artists and groups are known for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies.
And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM.
In this performance there are 9 members -- from left to right: *Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), pink hair Haechan (main vocalist and also a member of NCT-Dream), *Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer, who is also part of SuperM), Jungwoo (main vocalist), Taeil (main vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), *Mark (main rapper and dancer, who is the leader of NCT-Dream and a member of SuperM) and *Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper).
Just like with EXO, there is never just one main vocalist or rapper, etc. NCT has 26 members, so every sub-unit will have more than one main vocalist and more than one rapper. Plus, Kpop groups very rarely have only one main anything, especially when you are talking about the main vocalist in an SM group. SM is known for being a vocal powerhouse, so pretty much all their artists will be able to step in as a main vocalist when needed.
As I may have mentioned before, Taeil is the oldest of all of NCT and he is currently 29 and Haechan is the youngest in NCT-127 at 23. However, if you want to know who is the youngest out of all the NCT members, that would currently be NCT-Dream member, Jisung, who is 21. (Although, after 7 years, he won't be the youngest much longer when the 6 new members of NCT's "New Team" Japanese sub-unit debuts soon. "New Team" member Sakuya, who is currently 15, will officially be the maknae. They just released their first pre-debut song, "Hands Up" a few weeks ago.)
NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 20 members. And the group right now as a whole has 4 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and WayV. (NCT will officially become a 26-member group when NCT's 5th sub-unit the "New Team" debuts.)
Therefore, their style is meant to be new and original with elements that embrace different cultures and technologies to create their sound. What you just heard is considered NCT-style, they don't really have a traditional music style that you can attach to them.
NCT-127 is NCT's second sub-unit, which debuted in July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit, so the member lineup stays the same most of the time. The 127 in this unit's name stands for the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea, on a map of the world, which means it's 127's job to represent Seoul -- the birthplace of Kpop -- around the world.
That's why some of NCT-127's songs are part of NCT-127 mini albums and other songs are part of full albums that include songs from all of NCT's sub-units. Hence, why some of the album descriptions mention NCT-127 and others just say NCT.
"Fire Truck" was NCT-127's debut song, and at that time there were only 7 members of NCT who were in the "Fire Truck" MV -- Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Taeil, Yuta, Winwin and Haechan. However, now that NCT has 9/10 members they also include Johnny and Jungwoo in the song whenever they perform it.
Fun fact: "Limitless" came out in January 2017 and its Johnny's official debut in NCT and Doyoung's debut as a member of NCT-127 (Doyoung first debuted as one of the very first members of NCT in NCT-U's debut song "The 7th Sense", but he was not part of NCT-127's debut).
Although "Touch" is considered a B-side song, there is an MV you need to check out. This song is super cute. The part at the beginning where Mark said, "ummm ...", that was actually part of the song. If you listen to the full song, you will hear him do the same thing in the MV. "Touch" came out the year that 127 and Dream traded concepts. "Touch" is very cute, sweet and soft, which is what we were more accustomed to with NCT-Dream. And, around that time Dream came out with a song called "Go" that was much more hype and hardcore, which is what NCT-127 is more known for.
What you heard was the Korean version of "Highway to Heaven," but if you watch the MV for the song, you will see they also have an all-English version. ("Highway to Heaven" was released during their North American leg of their concert tour in 2019.) They have an all-English version of some of their songs because NCT-127 promotes a lot in the U.S.
"Lemonade" is a B-side song so it only has a short track video MV to go with it. However, if you want to hear the whole song, you have to watch NCT-127's "Lemonade" dance practice video.
Like most of their B-side songs, "Back 2 U" is a song that they perform in concert, so you should check out a live performance if you want to hear the whole song.
Right, "Faster" was just an (INST) instrumental version of the song, which means it's just the music and they don't sing. "Faster (INST)" was the intro to "2 Baddies," so Johnny was supposed to be introducing "2 Baddies" at that moment while "Faster" was playing. "2 Baddies" was their most recent comeback song at the time and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote "2 Baddies," which is why you heard that whole song. "Designer" was also a song on their 2 Baddies album.
NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. For example, there are 11 native Korean members (*Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, *Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo, and new members Sion and Daeyoung), *Mark is Korean-Canadian, *Johnny is Korean-American (from Chicago), 5 Japanese members (Yuta and new members Riku, Yushi, Ryo and Sakuya), *Ten is Thai, *YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages.
NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL
NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. For example, they are just about to add a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc.
So, this year is NCT's 8th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies (or the new members who were part of a reality survival show called LASTART), so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted.

NCT 127 are amazing, the vocals are insane and their charisma is unparalled. I know you guys already know that they're actually a 3rd gen group, not 4th gen, but it's even more impressive when you know how impactful their sound has been on the sound for 4th gen boy groups. Another unit of NCT, NCT Dream, also debuted in 2016, but they debuted as children so they're actually the same ages as most 4th gen idols, but with double the experience. I highly recommend watching NCT Dream's Killing Voice as well, it's fantastic. NCT has 26 members and 6 units and every single one of them are mind-blowingly talented!

My beloved nephews! Yay! Seriously, these boys are so wonderful (really all of NCT/WayV is) and the variety and range is only hinted at here. So glad you are back to checking out more of their stuff. They (and EXO) were the reason I got back into kpop back in 2016 because of their debut 7th Sense. They debuted back in 2016 with three different units (NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream) but have been adding members and units every couple years since then. It may seem a lot but I promise it's so fun if you just take your own pace. Can't wait to see you begin to dive in :)

Just to answer the question on why they had to change the lyrics of 2Baddies, it had nothing to do with Porsche having an issue. In Korea they are very strict on branding and when promoting on broadcast stations they couldn't say any brands in anyway other groups have had this issue in the past as well like EXO and their song Lotto, they had to change it to Louder for broadcasts.

NCT is not 4th gen but some sub units and some members that joined later on are. Being Jungwoo in 2018 in this unit and most of WAYV being Kun, Xiaojun, Hendery and Lucas who left in 2019.
Members that debuted earlier debuted with NCT U. Ten, Taeyong, Jaehyun, Mark and Doyoung were the first members to debut. As well Taeil debuted.
Yuta, WinWin and Haechan debuted with NCT 127 debut.
Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung debuted with NCT DREAM. Then Doyoung and Johnny joined NCT 127 and then Jungwoo debuted in 127 in 2018.
WAYV debuted in 2018 as I said. Later on as well debuted Sungchan and Shotaro in NCT 2020 with NCT U. They were planned for the japanese unit but were removed in 2023 as well as Lucas.
In 2023 NCT DOJAEJUNG - Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo debuted.
As well as the japanese unit which had a survival show called LASTART. 2 members were already known to debut being Sion and Yushi. There were 5 members that won it being Riku, Daeyoung, Sakuya, Ryo and Jungmin. Jungmin had to leave before pre debut song Hands Up, because of health issues.
Sungchan and Shotaro ended up in RIIZE. With rookies who were before planned for NCT but ended up as well in RIIZE being Eunseok and Seunghan. As well Shohei but he as well didn't get to be with RIIZE because of health issues.

I love NCT 127. NCT in general is probably like... my 3rd faves, and 127 is kind of my home unit for sure - I just vibe with every song. An incredible fantastic 3rd gen boy group - definitely a junior group to EXO, EXO was like - earrrrly 3rd gen (2012), NCT is 2016. (For a little perspective, sister 3rd gen SM girl group Red Velvet debuted 2014, right in the middle). Their junior group, RIIZE debuted and people said they were 4th gen but some folks are saying now they are 5th gen so idk, hahahaha Anyone in the comments that reads this I'm vv curious if what ya'll think about that....
