I'm so glad Taylor got to celebrate the 25th anniversary and also got the chance to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well. Personally I feel devastated, he and Dave are the reason why I started playing music.
I agree a 100% This is the only consolation we have ever: Taylor saw all his dreams fulfilled during his lifetime. I am very sad for his family though :C

It still hasn't really hit me that Taylor has passed, and I don't think it ever will. I see him alive and thriving in these videos and through his music. To me, he, and many other musicians I love will always live on through their media.
This is one of the reasons why this band is so lovable, never forgetting their roots unlike a lot of tragic artists. Loving their music is one thing, but knowing they are down to earth builds a connection

My wife bought tickets for a show later this year. It was supposed to be a surprise, until she saw the news. If this is the end of FF, no complaints. I was lucky enough to see them live a dozen times and fortunate to have met Taylor a couple times. Grateful.
You absolutely can’t fake this kind of connection. These guys grew up together. It’s been months, and I still cry seeing beautiful, shining Taylor enjoying this moment. The man just loved the music. Thanks, Taylor for the years of music. You’ll be remembered as one of the greats 🌟🌟🌟

I‘ve been crying nonstop for the last four days and watching this was the first time I was able to laugh (while crying a little more). That’s how I always will remember Taylor. Goofing around with his captivating smile, and of course, rocking the shit out in the concerts

Same I cried for over a week and just laid in bed and watched their music videos and listened to all their songs. Dave Grohl (and of course the rest of the band members) must and would be terribly saddened by the surprisingly quick passing of Taylor Hawkins. Like Dave said he considered Taylor and him as brothers but from different mothers.
Also like Dave, Taylor Hawkins was not only a kick-ass drummer but also a great singer and if Foo Fighters do choose to continue on it will never be the same without Taylor Hawkins and that cheeky smile. R.I.P M8, Heaven has a new angel. 😢🤘🎤🥁🎸

😂😂 Best way to remember anyone is while they're laughing. Glad I got to see this.
I'm 55 and just discovered the Foo's about 6 months ago. Was looking forward to seeing them this summer. I hope they continue on, but it is understandable if they don't. Hard to replace one of the best drummers rock has ever seen. I'm sure it will be pretty hard for the guys to play without Taylor. My thoughts are going out to Taylor's wife and kids, and the band.
Quebec City, show was so worth it even for only 3 songs. They got removed from stage, and we waited 40 more minutes under the rain hoping they'd come back, until an announcer told the crowd it was cancelled. They came back to us the following year, so let's just pretend we waited a whole year under the rain.
Absolutely love y'all. The world is a better place for having the Foo Fighters.

I can't imagine how hard it was for these guys loosing there mate... especially for Dave....when you are together as much as those guys were for over 25 years it creates alot of very special memories... well like a family which is what you become...and it's just like a family it's not always peaches and cream...there are hard times but that's what make you pay attention to the really great stuff that never ever leaves you... They are always a presence in my musical journey and now my kids. The last song I hear is my favourite....but its the humour that makes them so fucking human too. From Kiss Guy to this to studio 666, every fun video, Stern interviews to cross-over tracks and mixes etc etc, we have been blessed to have the Foos and their music and craftsmanship.
I wish this was 3 hrs long!!! What a great ride! I been there from the beginning! The Foos are the one band I wish I could join!!!
