Great :)
Well I saw the "Lads"play in London,,Nw10 with the legendary Ronnie Drew many moons ago and was raised (Parents from Kerry)on that other "Red headed Legend Luke Kelly"so this isn't quite the same thing! ?But it's a great song!
Jeeezif I had a quid for every time I heardbme Dad whistle this... Adore Ye me Daddy... See ya later
What a brilliant and unique voice Sean had. A shame was Patsy. He was definitely the most horrible election after the great Paddy Reilly retired.
Sorry, but I never thought Sean Cannon was a typical Dubliner. Such a harsh voice and did little on the guitar other than to strum along.
Same
I mean he's no Luke Kelly, but some songs he sings really well. And in the Dublin Legends he became the band leader, and he does the job quite well. I've noticed that often his guitar in this Dubliners line-up is muted, if you listen with good headphones you only hear Eamonn's guitar.
Each to their own I think he’s Dubliner and he sings some of the songs In his own way in his style….Ronnie drew is THE harsh voice and Seans way adds another twist to the Dubliners legacy but we all have different tastes personally I really like his voice live
Good enough for The Dubliners, Good enough for me.
Dude he's like 80, give him a break
