I've always promised myself that if I can quit opioids "for good," I'll reward myself with a "living is dancing / dying's doing nothing at all" tattoo.
I was addicted for almost a decade and tried to quit countless times only to relapse after a few months. I thought I was going to die an opioid addict but somehow I’ve managed to stay clean for two years now and hardly ever think about using. If I can do it you can too.
Live those words, and I think you'll do it.

@@dufflette I felt the same. I had to go to a 90 day rehab with a long time in sober living to kick the habit and appreciate a sober life. But we're all different. For what it's worth I believe you will succeed. I hope one day you can drive through the Colorado mountains that townes loved with this blasting at full volume, thinking about your victory and sobriety with pride.
