A truly epic cab ride. and it is nice to see all the background track, wiring and layout that is normally hidden from view which shows the amount of hard work that has been put into making this superb model.
Love these cab rides. And thanks for showing the behind the scenes ride as well...I find it interesting how various track layouts are constructed/worked in the background. And this behind-the-scenes layout seems HUGE...at least to me.
Pilentam, Cab ride on a Super Sized Markin Model Railway 🛤 layout in HD Scale (Part #1) Real Enjoyed watching the video an seeing the hole Scale of the layout in HD. Through the Locamotive. An seeing the other Locamotive's go around the track was just Amazing. 👍 Can't wate to see (Part #2) of the Completion of the Scaled Model. So super cool.
This is the best HO scale layout I have seen - and I've watched a lot of them. As I watched the detail of the build I knew it had to be Germany. I read the Pilentum description. Indeed it was.
MASSIVE - and beautifully constructed. extensive hidden trackage produces an enhanced illusion of reality - ie NO VISIBLE LOOPS. visibles loops are the mark of a "toy" railroad - running in circles and OBVIOUSLY going nowhere.
Nice, complex, if we could see the diorama later maybe is very good.... it is a lot of time "hiding"... The wiring is very poor ..... sad....! Thanks for sharing!
Is it a layout that can be visit (if yes - where?) or is it a club or a private layout? Great layout - great movie :-) Layout is a matter of what you like. I see that someone have succeed with building their dream. That's what is all about ;-) I really like the landscape - especially the mountains (the rocks) - good job :-)
Thank you for the clip. Thumbs up. You think you can do a cabride clip of the Pasadena Model Railroad Club's layout? You do come to the States once in awhile, no?
No, I'm not a member. I like the cabride clips you put up, especially if there aren't any people in the camera view and if the layout is large and realistic. Nice job!
I have got a serious problem with that kind of layout. Most of the tracks are hidden "behind the curtain". What's the point? Also, almost only straight lines, no curves. So much work and not so much to see for the spectator. Waste of space?
The builder wanted to integrate all his model trains into the layout. This might be the reason why this design was chosen. It does not matter where you stay inside of this model railroad exhibit, trains always drive on the display.

Lee Rimell - agreed. I find it interesting to see what the behind the scenes looks like as well.

Nice ride and nice layout, but the ICE 3 has only 8 cars
How much cars / coaches the ICE should have?
PILENTUM in this Video it has 9 but normally it has 8

The exhibition will close in 2019:

Can someone please tell me why the track is like that in 19:17 ???
That's a switch. Originally, a shadow station (hidden yard) was to be installed here.
That is a LOT of miles/kilometers under the display areas, meaning stuff not visible to visitors.

It was a nice ride, alot of under the layout tho
I was getting claustrophobic. Way too much under table.
90% tunnels?
It seems they will be busy for at least another ten years.
More track under the table than above.
👍👍👍👌👌👌😊🌹😁
Looks like i'm early. In that case, hello!

Super
😁😀👍👍👍👍🌹
It's not a bad layout
I'm sorry, but first. Please forgive me for my crimes, but I had to do it.
Le train est souvent dans le décor et c'est pas tres joli
Too much time spent underneath the table
That was the most boring HO train video
