You don't want a timed release, you want a proximity release. More effective for this sort of device. Although would probably just be easier for Yannic to add a flipper that yeets you when you drive over it.
The look of the track gave me an idea. What if you had one ramp that lead to 3 different tracks depending on the angle you take it? Then you put a checkpoint on each track and make them all loop back to the same ramp so you can get the checkpoints on the other tracks. When you've cleared all the checkpoints you can finally end.
One of them has already done something like that, though it was a matter of repeatedly passing through the finish with more and more speed, to make bigger jumps up to higher levels to get all the checkpoints. Think it was a kAN map...
The idea you were talking about in the beginning actually has to do with chaos theory rather than the butterfly effect. Although, chaos theory plays a huge role in why the butterfly effect is the way it is, so the mix-up is pretty understandable lol
"If you're on it already it doesn't launch you as far" The teeter has already started turning, yeah? So it has to cancel out the (anti)clockwise velocity before it can impart velocity in the opposite direction, and then overcome the change in position relative to the start.
Great concept! What could maybe make the timing easier is a block below one side of the teeter totter to stop it from spinning the wrong direction when someone goes on it early.
I found this on the Workshop the other night. Took me a little experimenting to finish because I couldn't figure out how to get past the second cat, but it was satisfying. I put down a time and was pleased with the result.
I'd have done one with sleds and one with fridges, or one with hay bails etc so people had to remember which platform is a safe Yeet and which is "Exodia, Obliterate."
The "butterfly effect" is when a supposedly insignificant input action starts a chain of events which unforeseeably leads to a massive change very far in space or time. (the wing's beat of a butterfly triggers a tornado the other side of the globe) No it doesn't relate too much in this case. :) Happy 2023 Kosmo!
@Bono Voxel Like Schrodinger's cat in the box theory. Or we could talk about Mark Everett's father Hugh Everett and his parallel words parallel lives. Fun fact. back in 2007 I got the chance to talk to Mark or E as he is called, about his father. Talk about an experiance for sure.
They've explained it a few times. It's actually kacky and It apparently means something like "shitty". It comes from trackmania and is used for tracks that are extremely hard and rely on mastering a specific technique pretty much. That's from what I remember anyway

Game needs logic pieces

To a person familiar with the mechanics, yes.
It was news to me, and perhaps a few others.

@@Nevir202 I think that was a kosmo map
@@Nevir202 Yes I saw the jump one. Still, my idea is a bit different and would be way easier to implement.
Happy New Year Kosmo! 🎉
Cool Track! What a great way to start a new year.
Turned out amazing! Glad my random ideas could help
Thanks! Happy New Year!!!
Thank you Will! UA-cam never notified me of this :( So disappointing aha. I appreciate you though!
@@darealkosmo No problem, I understand!!
Dude this track is sick. everytime i see one of your tracks i am blown away
This is the coolest track i've seen any of you guys do yet. The look of that flip going off the start is somehow just soo satisfying!

@CrazyJ1301 I myself like the cat in the box theory.
That yeeting fridge catapult at the start was a nice idea. Was good to watch
The ski-slope theme is really cool!
Even before the test run I absolutely love this map! Great work and great ideas I love the sled part.

awesome track, some skill, sone rng that can be minimized. not too long, no hard elements at the end. 👍

Thanks for making a fun track Kosmo! Really enjoyed your yeet tech.

Nice track , was starting watchin less zepkist but really enjoyed this 1. Happy new year

bahaha dang good point
@@darealkosmonow that logic blocks are added you should revisit this idea.
Happy New Year~!
love seeing me some yeets
Very neat map, can't wait to give it a go.
Happy new year everyone🎁🎁
Another great video
Thanks u kosmo 😊😊
Looks like the sleigh ride was more RNG than the YEETing lol
Keep the beginning of the track but after 2nd flip you have to land in a sled !! ( Good luck designing that !! )

@@ducewags Lol This is interesting too. Fun fact: Irl Schrodinger didn't own cats at all. Not many know about this. ;)
@@bonovoxel7527 He hated cat's. That is why he wanted them stuck in a box to die.

Am I the only one who heard its a cool and yannic mechanic
Kinda fun and cool

you need to revisit this with the new update now

cool track
looks more like a shovel than a lawn mower to me
Happy new year to everyone
Of course it is a Yannic mechanic! After all, he made all the pieces!
Pogger upload?
He comes from the future 2023 :)
You could remake this right now. DX

Backrooms track when?
4:28 you did it earlier posted it later
Why is it everytime someone creates a level Warcans is always in the top 2 or 3 no matter what the level is.. did anyone check for cheats?
Why did they even add fridge✝️✝️✝️
Game needs some basic scripting so track makers can make weird shizz.
Bruh December is not a new year I don’t know why ppl are saying that
The whole world was in January when this video was posted so unless you're a time traveler I am very confused.
