This is such good information. For those who want to make the plunge with a BMPCC4K, I’d there any order in which one should save up and acquire the gear?
I have with the earlier 6K. A lot of this items work with the 6K. But this cage does not work with the 6K Pro since it has a slightly larger body. Tilta makes a cage specifically for the newer 5K Pro.
@@chinfat I’m finding the whole Black Magic eco system amazing. Da Vinci, amazing! Still can’t go past Premier with all its connected apps, software and industry integration thoe. But BM is unreal.
I just looked up BM's supported drive list and it is not on the list. But I did find a bunch of people on a BM forum that have used the T7 successfully with no issues. Apparently the firmware update last year permitted the use on the camera (I remember when it used to not work). But like I said-- no problem on my end shooting 4K at 3:1.
Thanks for the video and series. Love your PP videos too!! Best to you.
Thanks for watching!
I appreciate your videos very much. Thank you Channing 🤘🏼
19:03 Wait a minute? I thought the whip was used to swing at the PA whenever they get near the camera
It's dual purpose. Lol.

Have you tried this set up with the 6k and other BM cameras? Thanks for the video thoe, very interesting.

@@stevegeorge7773 I have the exact same situation/opinions! :)
Why the DZOFilm over the Leica 10-25 F1.7 ?
Not one over the other. Just trying out the DZO lenses.
💯💯❤❤👋🔥🔥🔥
Don’t use the T7. It’s not BM approved and can fail at any time. I’d say use the T5 or the T7 shield. Decent video though. Thanks for sharing
Why not? I just used it on a shoot where I shot about 2 hours of footage at 3:1. It worked beautifully.
