- Ranking all 151 Generation 1 Pokemon in order of how much I like them. Agree or disagree, I think we can all reach a consensus on Zubat at least.

I’m kinda under the impression that every channel should have their very own Pokémon tier list now.
I just love listening to him. Because he is hilarious effortly. So I'll be doing hw or looking through stuff and put him on and just chuckle the whole time.
Farfetch'd, known in Japanese as カモネギ _Kamonegi,_ is a literal form of the Japanese saying 「鴨が葱をしょって来る」 _kamo ga negi o shotte kuru_ "a duck comes bearing green onions". This is an idiom for a very unlikely and pleasant happenstance (i.e. you would cook the duck and onions together), and "farfetched" is an unusually accurate English approximation of the concept. For trademark purposes they had to spell it funny.

Instead of Ash having a Pokedex, I wish he'd had a Pokejohn to tell him about new pokemon. "Rapidash, a fire pokemon, there are cooler horse pokemon to be honest..." thanks Pokejohn for the info.

Yeah... That is when you realized it's not a dragon type. It's Water-Flying type and in gens 1-3 it can't really use it's STAB moves effective(i.e. water is special, gyarados is a physical attacker can't learn a decent flying type move)

I would LOVE to see you do more tier videos like this on the different regions and their Pokémon. I enjoyed your thoughts on these and blew plenty of hot air out of my nose at your commentary since you made some hilarious points! I didn't really get into Pokemon until Johto, even though the first ones I played were Kanto. Fond memories of Johto.

I'm more of a squirtle type of person but I do recognise Bulba supremacy (at least in Gen 1). Leech seed was sooooo OP in gen 1. Just do leech seed + toxic and then spam drains. It's a pity it could not learn Wrap, but Razor leaf had decent crit rate back in the day, because it was based on speed and, while -Saurs are not the fastest, they are definitely not the slowest either
@@mothified1676 I only ever got the opportunity to own and play Pokemon Silver (so, gen 2), but I always had a soft spot for Bulbasaur. :3
@@Joana-K well, Gen 1 is not so different but the mechanics of some moves were too OP. I bet you would enjoy it. Some examples are: Special was one stat, meaning it counted for both attack and defense, making Slowbro, who could use Amnesia, the strongest pokemon after Mewtwo, only lacking in speed. Leech seed/toxic + Wrap was infinity stunlock if used by a fast pokemon because the pokemon could not move until the wrap ended and scyther, persian, dugtrio, jolteon and Aerodactyl could always crit with high critical ratio moves because in Gen 1, crit chance scaled with speed. Of course, there were bad moves too (If rage missed then it only had 1/256 chances of successfully hitting and your pokemon could only do that until it faints)
@@Joana-K In general, you can find all the glitches from gen 1 in a list but I am afraid that if I post it in the comment, it will just get flagged and not show
@@mothified1676 I don't even remember most of their moves, it's been so long since I've last played Pokemon. :D But if I ever get the chance to try out gen 1 (by using an emulator or something), I might get into it, who knows.

12:03 aside from that explanation, in the anime when ash was against the electric type lider (pikachu vs raichu), ash wins by the excuse that the gym lider evolved raichu too early, not making raichu being able to gain more speed
In game Raichu stops learning moves i think.

This was a nice relaxing video but the commentary was hilarious. It was nice to kick back, laugh, and watch Pokemon get rated. Also the Machoke comment killed me on the spot.

"I'm a Gen. 2-er" I did a fistbump with that, same here! My favorite is still Typhlosion, followed closely by Heracross.
My favourite is Houndour/Houndoom. Was really annoyed that they were unobtainable until Kanto. Now I just play modded games to let me catch one early.
I'd love to see the rest of the gens ranked out! One video at a time might be more managable than all of them at once though lol.
