Always baffles me how people let their cars become that covered in food, pet hair, dust etc. like hello, you’re breathing all of that in. This one must have smelled terrible Great job as always!!
Hey @Stauffer Garage, fellow detailer here. Love your videos man, it’s good to see people be thorough in their details, and I live for the satisfaction of before and after. I have a “hack” for carpet salt from when I detailed in Ohio (moved to Florida and traded salt for sand) Mix up some vinegar and hot or boiling water into a detail spray bottle. When sprayed, it has a chemical reaction with the salt that breaks it down way easier. Using a drill brush to break it up after spraying should do the trick. Still takes some time, but significantly less than a half an hour. Dilution is key because if you use too much vinegar the smell will linger behind. Cut well, it vanishes within a day. If you see this I hope you have the luck I did, should you try it. Keep up the awesome work dude, I always look forward to your videos!
First off I just wanna say prop’s to you for sticking through on this insane detail. I would’ve got burnt out half way through and gave up, especially when the salt block you came across was not lifting very easily! I’ve been watching your videos for 3 months now and have became obsessed with wanting to detail my family’s vehicles, so thank you! I’ve purchased some items on fox clean and I am in shock on how well they really restore your car?! I’m definitely going back and making another order! I would have to say the vacuuming is definitely one of my favorites as you say 80/20 for vacuuming, it really does a tremendous amount of different just my vacuuming, who knew? Keep up the amazing work and still powering through on the most difficult vehicles to detail!!
In my humble opinion, I believe you did an outstanding job. The transformation was incredible and I am sure that the owner would agree. Keep up the good work and the content is great.
@@StaufferGarage goes faster when you use a stiff brush on the carpet first work smarter not harder. because 80% of interior clean is carpets the 20% is seats and everything else...
Have you tried to brush the carpet w/a floor scrub brush (not too soft or stiff), after 1st vacuuming? It really helps to loosen dirt from the carpet while vacuuming. Be sure to try it in a hidden area first..
My favorite part is the doors being scrubbed with the interior brush and seeing the suds fade all around, and the same effect happens with the steamer. The before and after clips always impress me and motivate me to do the same. This is my third week of consistently detailing both my and my wife's car on Sunday using your tips and tricks.
I'm always impressed with the detailing I see on this channel no matter how many videos I watch. I'm also just exhausted watching you clean the salt demon
Even though you weren't really feeling this detail like your normal ones, I think you still did a great job! Also, I hate salt in the winter time. It not only gets on stuff in the interior of your car, but it can eat the outside of it up and make it start rusting.
Moving from Florida to Massachusetts it's crazy how there are seasons! I'm so used to one solid season and weather being relatively the same so I'm excited for warmer weather to finally detail my car !
I definitely would have walked away lol. I admire you for sticking with it. It’s one thing to do a job but it’s definitely more satisfying when you love what you do. It definitely shows within these videos. Amazing quality of work. I literally watch in awe. This was like the hoarders car edition. Lol
The outside is by far the best. Just bringing a dull faded paint and being able to make it shine again is absolutely amazing! And besides hardly anybody sees the inside of the car but all see the outside. Outside is the best!
My friend and I started a small detailing business detailing cars in our community. It hasn’t picked up too much but the tools from fox clean would take our detailing to the next level for sure
Vacuuming and extracting are my favorite parts, you see the most transformation with the vacuuming but the extractions are so satisfying as well. Have you thought about adding a degreaser to your APC to tackle seats and carpets with oil and grease? I know the APC is great and some of them have degreaser in them, but adding an actual degreaser helps a lot.
Dude...as a fellow detailer I say kudos! You did a great job on this rig. I know how much work you put into this thing and I get that there are times you like quitting(I had a week like that this week) but you just keep plugging away. The worst though are details like this that no matter how hard you work you just end up with the results you were hoping for. It's deflating and you feel a little bit like a failure. I think as detailers we're all a little OCD and perfectionists so it's tough to see it not turn out perfect!
For what this detail involved it looks pretty good. I appreciate the honesty about wanting to quit becasue it was such a Hassel of a detail job. Great work! Looking forward to more videos in the future.
I am always a fan of the extractor shots. I think you did great! Hell! The before and after shots still make it seem like it's a brand new vehicle the customer is getting back. I was kind of expecting you to bring out that buffer oscillator tool to vibrate more dirt and crud out of the carpet to make vacuuming easier though. I still can't believe that with the WeatherTech floor mats, that the carpet looked as bad as it did. Great job all around!
Hell! I have a 17 yo used car. I took out all the seats to clean. A walnut, almond, pen and flash drive were all I found! Not bad compared to this mess!!!
Totally agree with you on vacuuming your car. I vacuum my cars at least every other week and since I don't treat my cars like a dumpster they are always looking their best!
I think you had a lot of patience and it turned out really well. I have watched your channel for a while and love watching your details. It made me want to deep clean my own vehicle more. I love watching the vaccume and extraction of the carpets to see how clean they get! Thank you for your time, videos and all the recommendations you give.
You do an amazing job every time . I love watching the reformation. I really don’t know how someone can use their car looking like that . Thanks for your videos.
I think you did an amazing job on this very challenging job. Those seats just wow! I think it is extremely generous, maybe a little too generous at times, of you to do these details for free.
So far I have been enjoying watching but also doing the APC on the door panels, dash, and everything else that would that. Very satisfying to see the difference that can make on those areas!
I like either the vacuum or extraction steps. The amount of dirt removed is always satisfying, and I love the care you have with the extractor, to avoid any big dirt from the carpets so the extractor won't break..
Great job on this video! Sometimes they say not to point out what you aren’t happy about in your project, but what really went well. From where I sit, this one went amazing!
Frankly, I don't know how you guys don't get tired of doing this work on almost every job! If I can't get a specific task done in, say, 3 hours, I'm bored to tears and want to quit! To spend 6, 8, sometimes 12 hours on a detail like this... Well, my hat's off to you!!!
That was an unbelievable transformation! That truck was filthy. The vacuuming was the most satisfying but I loved it all. You took something that seemed so daunting and made it amazing.
I love the meticulousness of the work he does and the results he gets are phenomenal. The products are all excellent top quality too and he is a class act to deal with as to the sales of the fox clean products. He has inspired me to work on my own cars and truck and he is right, it is very satisfying to do it right.
It always blows my mind how just simply vacuuming does an incredible change on the seats...before you even begin the extraction. Great job especially when you just weren't feeling it this time.
So much time and dedication into these videos that anyone should be beyond thankful for the finished job! Vacuuming is always an amazing thing to watch and make so much of a difference with something so easily! Some small brushes such as those for cleaning straws will help in some tight spaces like air vent corners, knobs, and around seatbelts.
You said it was one of the worst details, but I’ve seen you tackle some real horrors in the past. You mentioned that you were really tired and that does have a way of altering perceptions. I think that you did as good a job as you possibly could and compared to the before, the end result was awesome.
Oh my gosh!! I had no idea that these details are all for free. You are an angel to do that; especially since most of them are atrocious!!! My favorite part of any of your details is when you use the steamer. It really shows how much dirt gets loosened when it’s used, before you even start to use the cleaners and brushes. Another stand out is the tool you use for getting the pet hair off the carpets and seats. It really makes such a difference. Thank you so much for these videos. All of your detail stories are amazing and you never fail to impress with your after pics. 👍👍👍
First time commenting on one of your videos… I love your channel and watch it all the time in my spare time. Your videos motivate me to keep a clean interior in my 2001 Camry. ☺️
Wow, good on you for not walking away from that hot mess of a truck! The results exceeded my expectations of cleanliness by a long shot! Awesomeness! 👍🏽
Oh man. Normally I'm an extractor fan, but this time there wasn't much in the way of transformation from after vacuuming and the extractor didn't seem to pick up much dirt. It's gotta be the vacuuming for me this time around for sure. Made such a huge difference. I think you did an amazing job!
You are just.. *can't think of a word*.. You are 1000000% perfectionist at what you do!! RESPECTTTT. This takes not just physical energy but also lots of determination and patience. Tenacious Man! 😍
My favorite part to watch on your details is definitely the extraction! I’ve had my car detailed and it has never been as clean as the details you do! Love your videos!
You asked what we would do differently… My fiancé and I both agreed that we would set fire to the car and walk away… 🤣 Well done for sticking with it!
That was my first thought as well. 😂🤣😂🤣
fire's too nice
how about some C4 in slowmo :D
Lol that was also my first thought
😂😂😂😂😂
I'm dead hahahahahaha
Someone defined a professional as a person that does the right thing even when no one is looking. You are a professional. Great job Mr. Stauffer!
Very true statement, thanks Arthur
Always baffles me how people let their cars become that covered in food, pet hair, dust etc. like hello, you’re breathing all of that in. This one must have smelled terrible

Thanks!

Stunning. Your persistence is awe inspiring! 30 minutes in that one small spot with the streamer! Wow
Thanks a lot!

As an auto detailer myself, you always strive for perfection. The vehicle looked amazing considering the monumental task you were faced with
In my humble opinion, I believe you did an outstanding job. The transformation was incredible and I am sure that the owner would agree. Keep up the good work and the content is great.
I really enjoyed the vacuuming! Very satisfying to watch the dirt lift off the carpet.
Me too! It was insane how well they cleaned up
Me too ! Awesome job 👏

For the salt “block”, they sell salt neutralizer spray that makes it pretty easy to dissolve build-up like that.
Love your username... I own one too 😅 have you seen the 300E detail from WD?
Glad you mentioned this because I have a bad area right next to my door from just getting in and out and the rubber mat didn't cover it
My wife and I love sitting back and watching your videos. It’s so satisfying to see the cleaning process
I detail cars after watching your videos. Made me have a passion to clean cars.
That is awesome!
that looks like a farm truck. That is mud and hay in there. what a mess of garbage too. You did a lot of work there. Thanks. God bless.
I'm always impressed with the detailing I see on this channel no matter how many videos I watch. I'm also just exhausted watching you clean the salt demon

As a former house and office cleaner, when I had an especially challenging house or project those were the most rewarding when done.
I like how these cleaners pay close attention to detail.
Watching how well the stuff came out of the carpet while vacuuming was amazing.
Moving from Florida to Massachusetts it's crazy how there are seasons! I'm so used to one solid season and weather being relatively the same so I'm excited for warmer weather to finally detail my car !
Don't get frustrated and quit... These are my Sunday morning videos!! Gets me motivated! Keep up the great work.

James, everything flawless, mate!

Wow, amazing job!!!! I think you did great.
Glad you didn't quit! Amazing the difference simply vacuuming can make!
I absolutely enjoy every video! something so pleasing about watching all of the dirt and hair get vacuumed right up!

Thanks for not quitting. Very satisfying detail. Keep it up
Even though you wanted to quit and give up you still pulled it off and nailed it!! Amazing transformation!

Asking us what we would do? Honestly you’ve done the best work possible for that car I have not complaints
That truck turned out SO well!
Great transformation.
Hell! I have a 17 yo used car. I took out all the seats to clean. A walnut, almond, pen and flash drive were all I found! Not bad compared to this mess!!!
Felt your pain on this one man. Props for pushing through to the end!
I love watching your detail videos, they’re so satisfying to watch!!
Honestly I am impressed with what you did, especially the time it took and for free! I think you did amazing and couldn’t have done much more!
I love the extractions - so satisfying! Watching these videos always motivates me to clean my car.
Nice work!
I just enjoy the video in it's entirety. You sow different ways to detail a car in every video.
I love watching your videos. It inspires me to keep my car cleaner. That vacuum is amazing.
I'm so glad!
Same here!!
It's not the vacuum cleaner, it's the quality of the car's upholstery.
Great work man!!!
Totally agree with you on vacuuming your car. I vacuum my cars at least every other week and since I don't treat my cars like a dumpster they are always looking their best!

Awesome video 👏
Stauffer magic
Always so satisfying to see a really dirty vehicle get clean
Honestly the vacuuming is hands down my favorite part of the video.
Great job
I am struck after watching your videos, that the interior materials are so durable. Once vacuumed and extracted, they do come back amazingly well.
I’m usually one that loves the carpet cleaning but this one’s vacuuming was so good
The fact that I feel like 10 hours is FAST…. Jeez that salt rock looked really satisfying 😅
You do an amazing job every time . I love watching the reformation. I really don’t know how someone can use their car looking like that . Thanks for your videos.
Good job James 👍🏻
One of the most satisfying detailing ive seen
I think you did an amazing job on this very challenging job. Those seats just wow! I think it is extremely generous, maybe a little too generous at times, of you to do these details for free.

I am looking to start my own detailing business. I love the vacuum clips in this video, so satisfying!
I think you did an awesome job. It always amazes me how anyone can treat their vehicle this way.
Well done as usual
You did an AWESOME job with this vehicle! It is a drastic difference from where you started and where you finished. Great work!!!
Looks great
This is a detail that makes you question your sanity and your will. I loved the door cleaning.
so amazing you killed it!
I like either the vacuum or extraction steps. The amount of dirt removed is always satisfying, and I love the care you have with the extractor, to avoid any big dirt from the carpets so the extractor won't break..

I really enjoy your videos. They are really relaxing and satisfying.
Great video as usual!!
I think like the vacuuming part of the job. It really transformed the interior of that vehicle.
it's amazing how you clean the car. all the dirt is gone and the car is perfectly clean
I enjoyed the vacuuming. It Madea real difference. The results are awesome in the after shots. You did a great job with this one.

As usual, you did an amazing job and got this as good as it could possibly be. There’s a Uk saying “you can’t polish a turd” 😂👍
You didn’t miss anything!!! You did an amazing job!!!
Wow wow wow. That was brutal. Free. God bless you. 10hrs. What a change
Fantastic results! That was trashed. The vacuum part was my favorite part. I agree with 80/20 concept for sure.
I loved the vacuuming portion of this detail! Well done
These are my favorite videos ever!!! I could watch them all day 🤩
My favorite part to watch on your details is definitely the extraction! I’ve had my car detailed and it has never been as clean as the details you do! Love your videos!
