I remember I watched your first wash day video and I was literally so glad that I finally saw someone with a similar hair pattern as me. One thing I most learned through ur videos was applying my products while my hair is damp and ALWAYS spraying water on my hair cus my hair dries up fast and DEEP CONDITIONING. I learned the raking method where I keep raking my products continuously in smaller sections. Not just ur wash day videos. Ur head wrap video was amazing. I literally use a tee shirt, wrap my hair n go out. I continuously come back to ur Chanel to see what updated products u use during your wash days; specifically for leave in and Normal conditioner but unfortunately, I can’t afford them so I look for something cheaper and similar. My entry: This time last year right before the pandemic, I was a sophomore in college and had been natural for almost 5 years and while I was retaining length, it was very dry and I still felt very clueless ab being natural. I stumbled across your “why your natural hair isn’t flourishing” video and I got tons of helpful tips on my hair type and porosity but the most important thing: I learned that I was supposed to be deep conditioning!! I incorporated that into my routine and began to see a MAJOR difference! I started to see an actual curl pattern in my hair! My hair was more moisturized in general and a lot more healthy! I be rinsing out my hair in the sink too. 😂😂 you ever have issues rinsing in twist and deep conditioner not completely coming out? Always happens to be and I have to take the twists out
Hell yeah, I spend so much time in the shower so once I'm out that's it lmao ain't no going back! & hmm I used to have that issue but now I just make sure to keep rinsing and squeezing my twists until the water in the sink is clear and not sudsy!
I wish I was high density😅 Ik it's a lot of work, but I would be willing to do it all because I love natural hair ugh I just want thicker hair strands and higher hair density😭

I have a similar curl pattern and density as you (Yay, finally found a youtuber that does). But, I can never get my hair to clump at the roots - Actually it clumps into a chunk, not coils...it coils well mid shaft and the endsAny suggestions? Maybe I'm not combing it properly?

this channel has def helped me figure out what products i can try on my hair bc im also type 4, low porosity, and med-high density. i love how you’re honest with the products that you try so that us subscribers dont have to waste money on something thats gonna dry our hair out😭 some of these products be too expensive to be drying out hair and flaking up. happy new year ❤️🥳

Being a low porosity girl it took some time to find the right products and techniques but everything you have recommended has absolutely worked. I absolutely love love love the ecoslay Jell-O shot. Definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made all year.

I’m so glad that I found your channel when starting my natural hair after those kid relaxers my mom use to use because i didn’t know how to handle my own hair. I am 4 years natural and I love it. I be rinsing out my hair in the sink too. 😂😂 you ever have issues rinsing in twist and deep conditioner not completely coming out? Always happens to be and I have to take the twists out
Hell yeah, I spend so much time in the shower so once I'm out that's it lmao ain't no going back! & hmm I used to have that issue but now I just make sure to keep rinsing and squeezing my twists until the water in the sink is clear and not sudsy!
I wish I was high density😅 Ik it's a lot of work, but I would be willing to do it all because I love natural hair ugh I just want thicker hair strands and higher hair density😭

I have a similar curl pattern and density as you (Yay, finally found a youtuber that does). But, I can never get my hair to clump at the roots - Actually it clumps into a chunk, not coils...it coils well mid shaft and the endsAny suggestions? Maybe I'm not combing it properly?
