Pros:
-Mature cast for high school, no doubt!
-Beast and Gaston's voices were husky and georgous
-"If I can't love her" Woooowwww!!! 😍
-Georgeous set
-Overall enjoyed!
Cons:
-Belle needs to flow more when she sings and wailed too much
-Cogsworth was boring. I know he's not the most interesting character but I don't remember him at all.
-Costumes were boring. The Beast looked like a cat 🐱 in Cats

The actor who played as Beast is really good I can't imagined he is high school student. This guy has a future in stage play or even in Disney.

I just graduated from this high school last year. We are not a performing arts school. We're a normal public school that gets practically no funding from ways other than fundraising. We are fortunate enough to have quite a nice auditorium but other than that, it comes down to our amazing teacher and technical director as well as the students. :)

Goodness! This is a high school production? Insane! My school I'm sure won't be anywhere near good as this. Unfortunately our drama funds are very very low, as my school focuses on sports more than arts.

It's brilliant! Anyone that can't see that has never had the pleasure of experiencing a High School Play, There's nothing like seeing students performing for the school, family and community. The stage, The art, The set, The effects and lighting are top notch. Thank you.

Throughout the whole musical I was incessantly saying how good these actors and college students were. Come to find out this incredible musical was performed by High School students, Blew my mind. These students have an amazing talent and if they major in drama then I am quite positive that they will become very successful. Good-job again!

Watcha musical performed by The City Academy Hackney (in London). They are a secondary school and their cast ranges from 11-17. Their performances are AMAZING, they are performing Sister Act this year on the 11th 12th and 13th of july next week. Wish them luck! Previously they have performed Oliver, Bugsy Malone, Annie and Hairspray.
Watching this was awesome then this before I started watching Beauty and the beast they are very Talented performance throughout the whole musical I was saying how much actors and collage combined with Beauty and the beast

My high school did this my freshman year. And one of the girls' uncles was a professional make up artist in LA, and he flew out and did all the prosthetics for the show. It was AMAZING! It was truly professional worthy!

This was so amazing! Everything about it was perfect from the dialogue, the singing, the costumes etc. I enjoyed every second it. The actors were incredible. I wasn't prepared for that kiss at the end though lol.

This is absolutely incredibly. The props, the costuming, the sets, the choreography, everything is completely on point. Sure, some of the vocals are a little off, but when everything else is completely on point (and the main vocals are rarely unwavering), ad considering this is a HIGH SCHOOL performance?!?! I'm more than willing to overlook a few discrepancies. Bravo, guys, I only wish I had gotten to see this live!

I wish our High School had the capability to produce sets like this. This must have cost a fortune. We have a young cast 3 weeks away from the show and although the quality of the performers is arguably better than this, we cannot not compete with the set. :( #feelingdepressed
Our high school spent over a hundred thousand on Phantom Of The Opera, and the same for Mary Poppins! It's where you live sadly. The place I ju st moved from, was like the very oppisite.
***** We also had the help of all the kids who showed up to build the sets for free which cuts down on costs. All of the costumes were rented and some sets were simply remodeled to fit this show (such as in the forest scenes).

Think of how many textbooks a school could buy, and teach future adults a useful trade like soldering computer boards or securing cars from hacking or some other skill that will land a job. Instead these persons will be working McDonalds or Walmart after high school. (No wonder this nation carries a debt load of $200,000 per home when it wastes so much cash.)

Love this production :) All the actors and actresses were amazing :) And that transformation scene was just spectacular :O Especially considering the special effects they would be working with as a high school production.......but it looked so convincing and I liked how he effortlessly got out of the harness without making it too obvious he was doing so :)

Probably, but speaking as a person who is playing belle in a different production she was good! It’s a lot of hard work and you have to find the “sweet spot” for your voice as you sing AND talk.
I’m at “Belle Reprise” and she could have done a better job.

Hi Nickola hope your production and preformance went well. My niece was hired by Disney to play Belle aboard their cruise ship The Disney Dream. She's been rehearsing in Toronto and in November they begin there prefomances aboard ship. If you enjoy preforming stick with it. You never know.

I played Le Fou at Pioneer High School in Woodland, Ca.
I gotta say that guy who plays the beast was pretty good I actually saw the Aladdin Broadway when I was 10 years old on my summer vacation in California, but this Broadway was pretty good.

geraldean duchesne Yes, since this is a high school production it was somewhat difficult to find enough guys that can sing well so the director decided to cancel the song and make it dialogue.

I've seen BATB performed 3x by professional actors. For a high school production, the students can be proud of their performances. The only suggestion that I would make to future high school productions is that the play needs to be directed and acted like it's performing in front of a theater full of kids ... not teenagers and adults. There *is* a difference between the two.

The movie is based on the original musical. Disney left out two or three songs to make the movie shorter.

What original musical? The Broadway version didn't come out until after they had already made the movie, which the stage version adapts.
The only thing I can find that came before the movie (that they got anything from) was a 1946 French film, but they only got the Gaston like character and living objects from it.
The fact that I performed on that stage and know how large it is freaks me out about watching this. Love this school
