Enlan Bee EL04 MCT Review

Within the model EL-04 there are two variants, one with handle made of G10 and another handle in micarta (MCT model), I chose the micarta, as much more attractive to me than the black G10 version.
8CR13MOV Steel blade that is standard in China, it is not a super steel, but is acceptable if it is tempered well and often compared to AUS8 and 440B, in fact it's the same steel used by the famous brand Spyderco for some of its models, as in the "tenacious".
Knife specs
Total weight 137 grams
Total length of 20.3 cm, with a blade that measures 8.6 cm and a thickness blade of 3.1 mm
Liners are partly drilled
Shaped linen micarta handles
Drop point blade with a touch "kukri" style to it
Thumb stud (bothsides) opening and axis lock
Small amount of jimping at the beginning of the blade without much angle
High sabre with a secondary bevel grind
In my opinion is a size quite useful and will allow a handle size enough for a four finger grip, the micarta handles make is warm to the touch and fill the hand well for long term carving. Weight is acceptable and a respectable blade thickness.
Unfortunately Enlan follows a policy of using special pivot "screws" designed by themselves, thus adjustment of the blade pivot is difficult unless you use an alternative homemade tool (use of a leatherman would work), or you buy the Enlan tool that is quite expensive compared with the price of the knife.
Overall the fit and finish are great and can highly recommend the knife.

Yeah i had to do a little lock tuning on my g727 . Its still 10× better than a rat1.
The el04 is in the mail .ill have to do a lock spring job on it but its still cool.

I bet you don't know that you're like the only reviewer that has said that the blade is sabenza-ish.
