Too bad too many people are so mislead by propaganda from both countries, added with current chinese society & "new ancient techniques" found every year since 1980's, contempt from both sides, and gatekeeping from major asian communities(fair, but long maintained for farther than it should). Now, nobody cares to hear what's fiction or fact on the subject anymore(if not, getting pointlessly hostile/racist with you if you dare mention any of the sort in their presence during a normal conversation). Majority of people today are fucking sad, lazy, deluded, combative, bitter, ignorant asses. God bless, & amitabha!

Your skin can stick to smooth walls quite easily provided you aren't wearing clothes in the region of grip. Once all the air between skin and wall is removed the grip is quite strong. There is even a video of a modern Chinese girl who climbs walls like a gecko. You can search "real-life spider girl watches TV from ceiling."

Well i can explain how they immitate superhuman abilites
Usually they use weights and walk, run, swim with the weights everytime
And when they remove all the weights their body becomes capable of producing more force and power and it makes them jump higher, faster, stronger, agile and many more...
      Hope you understand it😊❤👍

Once and only once, when I was in high school, a group of shaolin buddhis monk travel to my country and introduce their martial arts in form of performance. In there, I saw everything they performed just like those in you tube videos, except one -- a shaolin monk demonstrated qing gong by stood on top a piece of folio size paper, held by two sticks on the paper's side, the bottom of the paper was just air. The monk just stepped to the paper's surface from a platform same height as the paper -- and .... stayed there for a whole 5-10 seconds.
The audiences were shocked and awed by that performance. After stepped out from the paper, the monk used saber to cut the paper, to indicate it was a real piece of paper. It was the only time I had ever watched a qing gong in front of my eyes. After that, I have searched all over you tube and internet for the same qing gong demonstration, but to no avail. If you have links to such videos, I would really appreciate it.

    • @johndough8115

It was probably a Single-Step trick... and maybe even on more compacted snow to boot. Sort of like faking a step, but instead, hopping with the rear leg.. and making it look like the lead leg had actually planted. There are many other ways to fake things. For example.. if the snow densely compacted.. you could use some hidden cloth / brushes under your robes, that would "Sweep" the footprints away. Just the robes edges itself, may have been enough. Also... if the master placed certain strategically placed rocks under some DEEP snow... he wouldnt sink down into the snow... and would appear to have been Floating on top of it. If someone tried to follow behind him... and missed the Stones... they would sink deep into the snow.
Such trickery isnt unheard of. There are a lot of Tricks in Chinese Culture, and in the Chinese martial arts.

yang style tai chi chuan is also very different compared to chen style tai chi chuan. at least now, yang style focuses on the softer side. i don't know how it was back then.
over 10 years ago i was in chenjiagou and trained together with grandmaster chen xiaowang. one day they visited the house where Yang Lu Chan lived in that village. but i did not join my friends because i needed to take a rest from training.
i missed that opportunity. maybe the focus on the softer movements lets one discover the mechanics of chi in the body a bit easier. cramping up and getting stiff blocks that feeling.
the training of the old chen style was far too hard for me to make enough progress in the three weeks. but it was a unique experience. i guess when i am able to retire, i will focus more on that. still over a decade to get there.
what i found out so far is, that certain chi gong movements are very good in getting that weird magnetic sensation between your hands. also one time when doing the zhan zhuang exercise, i had the sensation of something flowing through my spine and everything felt very effortless and light. and believe me, as a person who is very overweight, zhan zhuang usually does not feel that light for me. it is the most demanding exercise that i know. btw. i love the chan si gong exercises and it feels very nice when you discover that every movement of your arms etc. of your upper body is mirrored in the hips, legs, knees, feet.
slowing down everything to a point where you turn into an observer of your own body and find out what happens inside is fun.
and the belly muscles around the lower dantien seem to turn in a circular motion, ....

Basically it comes down to the fact that in Chinese mythology, people gain spiritual power and they can even become immortal. That's why heroes can do all kinds of supernatural stuff in Chinese movies, usually they can leap, fly on a sword, deflect multiple knives at once with a sword, hurt someone or protect themselves with sound waves, and so on. You have monks practicing religious rituals to gain spiritual power and you have warriors practicing gong fu to do the same thing.

While not knowing chinese martial arts the theory about morality holds water in my own life experiences. I've spent many years as a soldier, and grew up in some rough neighborhoods. Only my experience, I'm not claiming this is empirical evidence. On those times where I've been attacked where I was doing right I'd handily, and easily win, almost without effort, when I've been showing off, or talking trash, or otherwise not morally right I haven't won. In simple terms if your not fighting yourself you have much more to focus on survival. I also believe there's a spiritual element involved. Literally our creator will grant you strength if you are doing what's right in his eyes. Just my opinion based on only my own life experiences.

Any physical training, including various martial arts, sports, and bodybuilding, will eventually reach a "bottleneck" stage. To progress further, the trainer or practitioner must incorporate "inner strength" (neigong) training, which includes various forms of meditation and advanced relaxation to enhance strength.
In this context, internal strength (neigong) refers to the gradual transition from the wandering mind to the state of "one thought replacing thousands of thoughts," and further to the tranquil state of "the mind does not follow the thoughts." The longer this state can be maintained, the better.

It's the difference between "内功” and "外功“. The first is more of a spiritual component that requires knowledge of complicated things like the training of thought patterns, breathing and meditation techniques. The second is the stuff most people think about in the west when it comes to martial arts, particularly when it comes to the current era. "内功" has sadly become somewhat obsolete as a martial skill in an era where people can use many different types of “热兵器".

I've seen masters preform extraordinary feats. The way it was explained to me was. It is about ki control. Projecting your ki downward, around the bottom of your feet. Think of it kinda like snow shoes. The amount of surface you project, makes it more easy to do it. Basically.
I watch a man run across pieces of rice paper that was being held up by a person on each of two sides. It was absolutely astonishing.

    • @lightworker2956
      @lightworker2956 Місяць тому +4

I can't do those kinds of things, but I can do other extraordinary things.
In my experience, doing sufficient inner work is almost all of the journey. The actual technique ("project ki downwards") is like the last 5%. It's still important, sure, but if I wanted to that lightness skill I'd start by doing a few years of general inner work first before even attempting that.
I also would say that emptying / clearing yourself is the work, more than just morality by itself. I don't think that a person who works in a homeless shelter for 30 years will then be able to learn supernatural abilities very quickly. Plus, evil people with supernatural abilities also exist.
Though telling students to focus on morality is very important because you don't want to teach supernatural skills to someone who will abuse them. So I understand masters pointing to morality as being important.

What I find fascinating are the wide variety of reactions I see when working with people but overall it seems to help them and that makes me happy. So it is hard to accept or deny these claims. We often see martial arts masters who are convinced and convince thier students that they posses such powers. If it was not for the internet we would have to accept eye witness accounts of these powers. Just a word of caution, I wish you successs in your spiritual practice

And, Now i don't take mainstream science words anymore because they reject remote viewing which in my experience, was real. So, after this, The only conclusion i came to is, Don't take word of skeptics or mainstream scientist as absolute truth because sometimes they themselves don't even know what they are talking about when they try to step in territory of spirituality. And, the only way i can ever know is through direct experience. This is what i believe now.

It all makes sense morality would be integral because in order for us to achieve higher consciousness or higher levels of human abilities we would have to have benevolent spirit living within
    A higherling.
So if you’re every thought is basic in worldly or corrupt , and you’re comfortable with that
Most likely you would be seen as repugnant anything higher
But if you are at peace with or without the supernatural kung fu abilities
No matter what temptation you still remain a pristine spirit
Then I’m pretty sure you would appeal to Paramount spirits that can bless and assist via meditation or whatever methodical means for utter transformation.

Could you expand on what is meant by morality in this context?

  • @johndough8115
    @johndough8115 Місяць тому +4

The only reason Morality would have played a factor... is the Teachers / Masters... would not teach higher level material... to those that lacked Moral fiber. There is a lot of Exaggerations in these tales. However... there are some very real Abilities, that many today... still do not believe possible / realistic. For example... Fajin (Explosive Power). Its the ability to generate Lethal levels of impact potentials... with only an inch or two of "Runway" (arm movement). I, myself, developed Masterclass levels of Fajin... and when a few different fighters were being disrespectful towards me... I decided to give them a little "Taste" of what I typically held back...
In most cases.. I use my mostly extended LEAD guard hand, and Knocked them out, using a vertical fist strike to their Foreheads. I used less than 6 inches of travel, and I never used any more than about 15% of the power that I was capable of generating, to do it.
In one case... I added about 10% level of Fajin expression to a Forearm Deflection... to prevent an MMA fighters punch, from hitting me. This mild level of fajin.. still turned out to be way too much kinetic energy... and almost shattered his arm bone. In less than an hours time, it swelled up nearly double in size.. and he was in severe pains for many days to follow. Mind you... if he would have stayed within "Medium" (safer) levels of power himself... as we previously agreed before starting our session... then he likely would not have suffered such an injury. However, since he chose to use full power... this multiplied the impact forces.
Now... Fajin expression can be applied to any form of Strike. But its more famous usage, is when you apply it into a Finger Strike. At that point, it becomes "Dim Mak". Often said to be called "D3ath Touch". Its never a Touch... but it may have been misinterpreted as such... when a distant observer saw a Master using it, to disable / end a fighters life. It moves so fast, and is so fluid, that it can look like a mere "Touch". The fingers are so thin, that they can penetrate the enemy's flesh, MUCH DEEPER than any other kind of strike. And adding Fajin expression into a finger strike... can cause a LOT of crazy effects. Anything from Nervous System effects... to Actual Internal Ruptures. And even if you dont fully rupture something... you can cause so much Severe tissue inflammation, that it causes a severe slowdown in blood flow circulation. Even a small slowdown in circulation, can cause the OP to become Dizzy, and go unconscious. Of course, these effects can be far worse that that. It can be a quick / instant d3ath... or it can be a very slow and painful d3ath.
As far as "Lightness" goes... I dont know that I believe in things like the Gecko abilities... nor the 100ft fall (unless they were slowing themselves, via legs wrapped around the pole). I have seen Chinese balancing on, and floating down the rivers... on long bamboo-like poles. They use a single long pole, to propel themselves down the rivers. It takes quite a bit of skill, to be good at this Traditional activity. You can still find videos of it, today, from modern Chinese citizens...
That said... I do believe that there are methods to temporarily reduce your weight... by being light on your feet, and shifting a lot of your mass at an upwards vector. Again, this would be very temporary... such as jumping on a floating branch... landing very softly and shallow... and immediately springing up off of it, as quickly as possible. You can see a sort of example of this, in the movie: "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" Where the Monk (Gordon Liu), has to jump on a floating barrel, in the middle of the water... to be able to jump to the other side... so that he can join the other Monks for Lunch. When he landed too heavily.. the Barrel sinks too deeply.. and he sinks / falls off. Eventually when he completes this task... I believe the head monk Breaks the barrel into pieces (thin boards). Then the monks have to be even lighter, and faster, to be able to pass this challenge.
Now... if there was a Gecko like ability potential... its likely a very unique biological effect (something they were born with). There are some magic tricks that use a suction like effect... but to fully stick to a vertical wall... is very unlikely. If the wall had a slight slant to it... and maybe if the monk used some tree-sap on his body... (which likely wasnt disclosed to the public.. and maybe also kept from the other monks too).
Realize that the Monks often begged for Food and Money. As such, doing "Magical" Demos for cash, became a "Thing". Some of these feats are based on a lot of hardcore training. But there is often still a lot of "Trickery" involved. For example.. you "should" have well conditioned (Hardened) hands to break bricks. However, there are many tricks to make these breaks, much easier than you would ever imagine. It doesnt negate their Striking abilities, nor their Hardened hands... but its also not 100% honest, either.
For the record... Im a martial artists of 30 years. Most of my training was in Wing Chun Kung Fu. However, I also learned some Tai Chi, Qigong, as well as kicks from TKD / Muay Thai / Northern Shaolin / Wushu. Did full Iron Body conditioning. Mastered Short Range power, down to a mere Inch of travel. I taught myself the 9 Section Steel Whip-Chain, and the basics of the Rope Dart. I also have sparred against all of the well known arts... and many of the more rare Chinese arts.. such as 5 Animals Style, Eagle Claw, Northern Shaolin, Mantis, Monkey, and a few others.

no, i think this is a very naive point of view of a teacher holding back knowledge. you need a certain way to focus inside to discover that knowledge for yourself.
      i will explain.
one semester is enough to learn the most popular form of tai chi, the 24 short yang style form when you go to the class once a week - well, at least to copy that form in a way that it looks similar from the outside.
if you remember all the movements. can you do tai chi? did the teacher teach you tai chi good enough if you can remember all the movements? no. you can't or maybe only max. 3%.
what the teacher gave you is a kind of book. the 24 movement form that you can kind of "copy" IS THE BOOK. now that you can do the movements, you are at the starting point of learning tai chi. you can now observe your body by doing these movements. you are now starting to learn from your movements and find out what your body is doing inside.
of course these movements have external applications as well and every now and then you have to consult your teacher and receive corrections. but now you are not learning from your teacher only, you are learning how to use your own body.
your teacher can give you some thoughts but he can't teach you everything in a few minutes because you have to find out yourself how you can use your body. the exercises, like the form, like other chi gong exercises like chan si gong or zhan zhuang are the vessels of knowledge, the transport vehicle of the knowledge. the teacher does usually not hold back with that but because he went through the same learning process, he exactly can see where you are in this learning process and he can only show you the next exercise to learn a certain skill set. and you need that skill set to have the basic skill to learn the next.
master chen xiaowang always told us that there are no shortcuts. it took me a long time to figure out certain things because i don't have a (grand)master at hand every day who is good in communicating.
when we are talking about moral, i think that this is not the right word to describe it. you need the right patience, understand that there are no shortcuts, that there is a long process of learning. you can't cheat on that, aggression is automatically stopping the process of learning because it is connected to tension and tension blocks progress and certain skills.
so, a teacher cannot teach that things to certain people, even if he wanted to, because a certain type of person is blind to that knowledge. at least this is how i see it now

@@stefanweilhartner4415 Chen Xiaowang, probably has the most powerful short range Fajin, that Ive ever seen on video. Mind you... I mastered Fajin expression myself.. to a very high degree..
But the thing is... Ive never seen ONE of his students, demonstrate Fajin, like him. Not a single video / demo.
Its my Opinion, that he doesnt give most of the students, that level of knowledge, on how to replicate what he is capable of. What special things He does, that is not being taught.. to get to any such level.
My main art, was Wing Chun. Ive been to 3 different schools... because my teachers keep moving. Out of the 3 teachers I had... only ONE of them taught the Slow Motion part of the 1st form (which is similar to Tai Chi, using the same Internal Development Principles). Not only that... but he made the entire class do a full nonstop hour session of this... several times, in-class.
The others lacked this higher level knowledge, and development. But even he lacked in other areas... such as not knowing the proper Traditional Chinese breathing methods, as far as I recall.
Even the late Bruce Lee, eventually learned Fajin, at high levels. While he tended to always demo a Push version of the technique in Public... He knew the real Impact version. He only taught this to 2 of his students... and he made them Promise not to show / tell anyone... because he felt it was too dangerous for the general public. He didnt want to be held responsible...
When Lee passed... one of those Students, James DeMile, decided that in the age of the Gun... that it wasnt a big deal.. so he decided to release this knowledge, in the form of a small book... And I believe he even made a VHS video on it too.
I had long since mastered fajin, well before I found that book in a store. I skimmed it quickly.. and found the descriptions to be non-intuitive, and seemingly wrong in certain spots (but admittedly, my memory is fuzzy about this, as it was a very long time ago).
Also, Yipman was said to have only ever taught the entire Butterfly Sword methods, to only 2 people, in his entire Life. And I also heard, that he only allowed a few select students, to learn the 3rd form material.
I have a Theory, that Yipman was being cautious, due to a lot of Gang Members, potentially learning from him. While most of what he taught, was Traditionally correct... there may have been certain key things missing. Furthermore... I believe Leung Ting, further Degraded a lot of what he taught others. Ive seen his modern students, and his modern methods... and they are atrociously bad. Far worse than the old promotional videos that he put out, many decades ago.
The point being... that there are in fact, a lot of special Key things in the arts... that are in fact, held back. As well as a lot of technology that has been corrupted and or Lost completely.
But you are especially correct in one thing... That there are no real Shortcuts to high level progression. I know this all too well... as I used to train anywhere from 4 to +8hrs, every single day, 365 days a year.
There are some superior training methods, that can produce Faster results. But these methods are also much more Brutal / Hardcore. So you are really just getting back, exactly what you are willing to put in.

But since the fundamentals are not lost, would it be possible for mankind to rediscover them in the future? Possibly bringing back a resurgence of high level martial arts? Long time, skilled practitioners such as yourself must have at least pondered about this possibly especially when you meet another of similar caliber?

This shaves off a couple of meters by modern measurements. If they measured the pole before sticking it in the floor, maybe the pole is about a zhang deep. If we go by 9 zhang, it is now down to 23 meters. 23 meters is about 7 storeys. Doesn't seem humanly possible no matter how much I try to lower that pole's height.

I feel that in emphasizing the necessity of morality for high level teachings, there is a misunderstanding of what morality is.
This includes a purity, not as social purity, but the vibrancy and brightness of one’s causal self. This in turn requires a surrender into the universality of any emotion, or ability one has, while simultaneously gaining in definition.
This is a long path of meditative application, but also a relationship within the enlightened sphere.
This is the basis, and just outer focus on skills misses the nature of the relationship, and it’s further relationship as humanity.
The skills are but the tip of a continuum, where like an iceburg most of it is unseen , until the relationship with and as self is matured.

Practicing Kuk Sool Won Ive seen light skills demonstrated. Master Harmon can run along a wall and over the head of his wife. There are even photos of him performing this feat.
Ive personally done what some may call a superhuman feat. One of the higher ranking belt test in Kuk Sool required that we shatter a bottle with our hand. The bottle in our case was wrapped in a paper bag and laid on a brink. I know you are thinking this sounds easy right? Let me tell you its anything but if you dont get you Qi involved. My first attempt I tried to smash it like I would a brick or cinderblock. Now this technique required us to use a palm strike not a fist or chop just so you know. And let me tell you, I thought I had broken my hand! And I had cracked a 3 inch think block of ice in two that was resting on the ground (yeah, outside on the grass) while I was sitting in front of it on my knees. So I had broken hard materials before with a palm strike.
My instructors told me I would have one more chance and I was instructed to focus my qi. Ignoring the severe pain in my hand I went though a moment of breathing exercises, trying to channel the energy down into my hands. I suddenly had that moment martial arts often talk about, the state of no mind! All conscious thought went away. I didnt feel my hand anymore and I swear it just kinda drifted up into the striking position on its own and when my hand struck out it felt like I had lightly slapped the bag wrapped bottle (it was a 20 oz glass Coke bottle).
There was no pain at all this time. In fact I dont recall my hand hurting after that. One of my instructors grabbed a small office waste basket and unwrapped the bag over it. The bottle wasnt broken in half or into several large pieces, non, it has EXPLODED into hundreds of fingernail sized bits! I would later see black belts of higher ranks perform this feat but with no bag wrapping the bottle and you could SEE the bottle just explode beneath their palm like their had been an explosive inside of it! There’s photographic eveidense of this out there as well. Its freaking astounding and though I havent practiced martial arts in over 2 decades now Im glad to know there are some people and systems keeping those old skills alive.

Part of this, is in the Breathing... to generate greater circulation. Blood is a Liquid, and can not be Compressed. This is the principle behind Hydraulics. If you can fill your hands with more Blood.. you can create a stiffer and stronger structure. I used to do Iron Body conditioning... which is you beating on every part of your body... while doing very deep and non-stop breathing. The tissues and bones develop to be much Denser.. AND... they develop more Circulation paths within them. When you want to strike something.. or to receive a strike... you take a few rapid breaths to get your heart pumping... and tense the area a few times. For example.. tensing my neck or arms a few times. The tissues will slightly expand, sort of like an Erection. Its not a lot.. but you can feel it. For a demo of this... Id chop myself in my own throat, about 7 times in a row... as fast and hard as possible. No choking, and no Bruises. Anyone else taking those same chops (same output power)... would have been severely injured.. and at minimal, would have had bruises for several days / weeks.
The other part of this, is in learning to Unify your whole body Mass. You do not merely want to hit using your arm mass and arm strength. You want to hit using your entire body mass... as if it were a single +170 lb stone (or bag of water / pebbles). In addition to unifying the mass.. is the Coordination of the mass, being quickly Tensed, within extreme Precision timeframes... at the very exact moment of solid impact. This is what you call "Fajin" (Fahh Jinn)... which basically translates into "Explosive Power".
Kook Sul Wan is just scratching the surface of the Chinese arts technologies... and a lot of these ancient Chinese methods have lost their proper teaching methods, and descriptions.
Also a note about your removal of Pain: Proper rapid and deep breathing... can vastly reduce physical pain. This is why they teach special breathing for Pregnancy. You also find it in things like Yoga. Unfortunately, a lot of the modern martial arts schools, are never teaching the proper "Combat Breath". If you want to hear it... search for "Chen Xiaowang Fajin". There is a video of him doing a demo in a school gymnasium. His breaths are Loud, fast, and very Deep... unlike todays "Teeth Hissing" breaths.
Additionally.. the body can do Rapid Healing of a damaged area.. IF ... you have the proper nutrients available, and... have increased your circulation to the point where they can be delivered very swiftly. And if you have done years of Iron body / Qigong work... then your tissues already have much greater circulation abilities... and can heal much faster than a normal athletic person.
To add to that... The serious Chinese schools, use Dit Da Jow (Iron Fist Lineament). This all natural stuff (never use the synthetic version, as its useless garbage) is pure magic in a bottle. We rubbed it into our fists, before and after hitting the wall mounted sandbags for 1 hour long sessions. It helps to prevent the skin from tearing, and it prevents bruises and swelling. In fact... Ive had people come up to me with severely swollen injuries... and after applying a few drops into the area.. they came back all-smiles, in less than 5 minutes... showing me that there was No Trace of swelling / redness at all. And they also reported, having either no more pain... or almost no pain.. despite suffering from pains the entire day, before it was applied. This stuff not only prevents injuries.. but also helps develop your Iron Body results, in a much faster period of time... and to a much higher degree of potentials.
Side Note... that unfortunately there are a lot of people training Iron Fist incorrectly, and to such an Extreme, that it causes the hand / arm to deform. Properly done conditioning, should never deform the body. Of course, if you dont mind looking like a mutated freak... then do as you choose.

@learnchinesenow Yes, that last subject of your video sounds accurate. Notice that "Modern times" disregards anything supernatural, ETs, or spiritually related. Specifically Earth Governments. This is an agenda from many and for a short explanation why they do this:
"Because so that the powers at be, be at power always."
Pretty simple, but effective. It's always when the government says it that it becomes genuine. The most recent example of this is when it comes to UAPs as they now call it.
Anyway, most people use their left side of their brain more often than their right. This is why people are really skeptical when it comes to things that they can not explain and look for answers that they Can answer.
Now, not scare anyone, just spreading awareness, but whenever people do get creative, the governments decide their fate. There's many examples of this and how ironic it is that it's always caused by an unexplainable death or a sketchy one at the very least. Or others just vanished! ✌️

It's always something. No matter what area of esoteric study one in involved in there are always myths and legends of high level masters who could do incredible things, but now, curiously, either knowledge is gone, or has been diluted, or there is some key component missing that we in the modern world just do not have that would enable modern masters to achieve these feats. And the fact that it takes a certain level of "morality" to achiever certain levels of skill, or gain certain abilities just adds to the doubt that those things were ever possible. Faith and belief I can ALMOST accept only in that if you do not believe something can be done, you will never do it. But apparently the converse is not true and no amount of faith, or belief seems to make those things possible anymore than having a high level of morality will make the things in the video possible. No, if such things were possible, then morality, or spiritual development would not matter. Myths and legends. Interesting, but I just can't accept that.

This is real, I was a huge doubter, 1 example, in 1983, was when I saw a shaolin practitioner in California heal a HIV teenager, the mother recounted it was a last effort to cure her son with western medicine not yet advanced, the footage showed a frail young man standing as the shaolin practitioner moved his hands in a circular motion like tai chi, the teenagers body moved like Michael Jackson just standing there as his body moved from left to right, front and back at a 20 degrees angle while his body stood straight and feet position at the same place, the whole room turned red and the temperature was very hot as the mother, practitioner and her son sweat profusely. The mother had to leave the room because of the high heat, after 4 months and 3x week the mother took him to his doctor as they were surprised he was not getting ill at this time, the mother said the HIV was gone as the program concluded with the mother and son walking along the sidewalk. There were many instances but this 1 stood out, another was Muhammad Ali and another an American reporter traveled to Tibet to watch Tibetan monks perform tai chi, the last was a tai chi master demonstrating his skills to a group of Australian reporters.

If you want to benefit Chinese learners, speak in Chinese and provide CC Chinese subtitles, for example, that would be much more useful for Chinese learning itself, while having fun with interesting culture.

Not sure "morality" is the right conceptual word meaning.Perhaps meditation based spiritual "samadhi" experiences,kensho/mind opening "Enlightenment" experiences ,nondualistic consciousness experiences .Once felt weightless for awhile after attending a tai chi class after a week long Zen retreat. Not sure if I could have done anything "supernormal" though. An anthropology grad student who had been to China told me he had seen kung fu masters light up light bulbs by holding them, set fire to paper by waving their hands and jumping from high elevations and landing "lightly" on the ground.

Well that's kind of the point, all these arts used to have moral teachings in addition to their practices of qigong, martial arts and meditation. If you just do the practice without upgrading your mortality/spiritual level, you wont unlock any of the truly high level skills.

Do I believe this stuff is possible? Yes and no. As someone who has practiced these types of skills to achieve a small level of skill, I do believe that this stuff does have merit and you have the capability to achieve an actual level of mastery with these. Here's where the hang-up is, physics is kind of hard to get around with these. You weigh far more than the buoyancy on a reed in water and you are not able to run on water because you can't run fast enough.

I studied with Bruce Frantzis at every opportunity, between the late eighties and the early noughties, when he came to the UK - amazing!
While I always - and to this day - struggled with both the practice and state of meditation, in the aftermath of a mystical experience, some thirty-odd years ago, for about two weeks it came easily to me.
I'd - very quickly - achieve the state and, after a short time, was conscious of my body seeming to become appreciably lighter.
I cannot, truthfully, say that I left the ground, but - had the experience not eventually faded - who knows what might have been?
However, perhaps Sun Lu Tang is correct. My 'morality' appeared to have become 'optimised?' for a while, as a consequence of my trip to Heaven.
Incidentally, since old 'White Eyebrows' appeared to be a bit of a bastard, he must've found some other way of expressing Jing gong.

@@ahmedalarishi3913 I'm not sure how I can help.
The mystical experience came out of the blue, although I'd spent a day concentrating on the present moment, bringing my awareness back to it, each time I realised I was daydreaming.
Whatever I was moved - internally - to do, I did, including the meditation.
When I was guided to, I would: sit on the floor with my legs crossed; straighten my back; close my eyes; go inside and let any thinking subside.
I had no outcome in mind, so I wasn't forcing anything.
If this is helpful at all, so be it and good luck.
I hope you get what you're looking for.

The easiest and most effective way to Meditate, is simply to lay down, close your eyes... and count the number of Seconds of each inhale, and exhale. The counting is an un-ending task, that prevents your mind from wandering. Additionally, you can pay attention to the feeling of air moving in and out of the lungs. And in my case.. I also added some visualization. In my mind... I was visualizing that I was drawing each number in the air.. similar to drawing with your fingers in the Sand.
In order to get the results you are after... It takes about 100 consecutive 1 hour long sessions. Meaning.. every night before bed... do a single hour long session. Never miss a SINGLE DAY... or it could take twice the amount of time, to develop the special results. What you are doing, is trying to TAME the subconscious mind. Its like putting a child in Time-Out... every time they disobey, or try to get out of the chair. The subconscious mind doesnt want to be Tamed.. and it will try to Fight back. So long as you keep up the same routine... it will eventually learn that its hopeless to Rebel.. and it will start working FOR you, instead of AGAINST you...
What you are mainly after, is what I call the "Quiet Mind" state. Where your mind is nearly, or completely, SILENT. When this happens... the quality of your life will be improved by 1000 fold. Its simply amazing. As now you can fully appreciate the Present (the GIFT), without ANY internal distractions. Additionally, you will be able to learn new things, in like half the time... because of this. It also extends to the martial arts.. in that you start to develop new levels of Awareness, and internal communications are vastly improved. It would take a book worth of text, to reveal all of the Benefits.
Now, eventually you can add another form of visualization into the mix. Imagine breathing in a colored smoke / mist. This is a warm healing energy, directly from God / The universe. You slowly fill each part of your body with this colored energy... feeling it flow, fill, and absorb negativity / stress... Starting from your mouth into the head... then down to the neck, arms, chest, legs, toes. Then when you exhale.. you reverse the process... pulling the now Dirty energy from your toes.. in reverse up through your body.. and out of your mouth... seeing it come out as blackened smoke... and feeling the negativity being released from your body and soul. Do all of the colors of the Rainbow... for at least 3 minutes each: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet / Purple. And for the Final color... use Pure White. 7 Colors total.. at 6 minutes each, is a nice 42 minute session. Do this every day, and anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks in.. you well start to feel the warm healing energies as you visualize... as well as your moods outside in real life... will Vastly improve. I call this mediation, a "Color Bath".
The next form of Mediation, is a Moving Mediation. Such as with arts like Tai Chi. In Wing Chun, there is a similar slow motion part of the 1st form... that is supposed to take about 16 minutes for that section alone. However, most people are clueless about this, and speed through it in less than 2 min. Not only that... but you are supposed to do the entire form, back to back without any rests... FOUR times in a row... to get a little over 1hr worth of a session in. Anything less, and you are not going to get very good / speedy results. Progress is slow as it is.. taking at least 3 months of every-other-day form work, minimal (potentially longer, depending on your body type and condition).
When doing slow motion form work... one of the keys is to fully relax your muscles, to the point where they are BARELY holding your body up. And less, and your body would be like jello, and fall to the floor. If you are using too much muscle, then your Tendons are not going to be Stressed enough to develop into "Super Tendons". And many other things are also not going to occur / occur at the needed levels. You also want to make your arm / limb movements, as SLOW as possible. In my Wing Chun forms case... it should take 30 seconds to extend your palm from your chest... to a fully extended arm. And another 30 seconds, to fully retract it back to your chest. At this pace, your arm doesnt even visually appear to be moving at all. You stand in front of a mirror while doing this, to make sure that your lines are perfectly Straight.. as well as making sure that all of your other body parts, are in the proper positions. Some common mistakes, for example.. are Crossing your wrist past the center division line. Or raising your shoulder blades up. Or Turning your shoulders / hips.
By doing these movements ultra slow, with extreme precision and awareness,, and the proper deep non-stop breathing... your brain will develop a whole other level of "Awareness". And your physical body, will develop to a whole other level of Physical abilities. Again.. this would take like several pages more, to fully write out all of the benefits... so I will leave it at that.
As far as "Mystical" things goes... Most of it is exaggerations, subconscious hypnosis effects, and other trickery (magic tricks). You are not, for example... using invisible energy, to make stronger hits... nor no-touch Knockouts. Thats not what this stuff is all about.

@@AbdulGhani-vm6oq Thanks Abdul. Ive read various snippets, from various books.. but Ive Never came across a martial arts book that has anywhere near the complete level of details, that Ive posted + have Learned + Experienced.
It took me a few decades to figure out all of this stuff + Master it. A LOT of it.. I had to piece together myself.
Having an open mind, Exploring and Mastering many different arts methods... as well as Seeking out actual physical demonstrations... is generally what it takes, to reach the highest Truths, of the combat arts.
Of course, a little bit of Luck, helps too. I happened to be very fortunate to run into certain key martial artists. That said... I was sparring against various local martial artists... almost every weekend.. AS well as attended several martial arts related Events. As such.. I vastly increased my chances of running into some of the best fighters... on this Planet.
I was also a bit lucky to run into some decent teachers, that gave me some excellent foundational training / knowledge. A little bad luck.. in that they all ended up moving. However.. Having to start over from scratch each time... I developed a whole other level of "Rock Solid" foundations... as a result.
      Best Regards
