Wow what amazing family you guys are as a unit! Just discovered your channel and saw this video on Amritsar.. Very enjoyable keep up the good work guys! 🙏👍
Thank you so much to you guys for beautifully explaining Sikhi and the Punjabi culture. Just few highlighted points about Sikhi ( cuz my life has been truly blissful because of the teachings of Sikhi, I really wanna share them) • Sikhi is a way of life. It’s about letting go of one’s ego and reaching a higher state of life where we recognise the life within us and everyone around us. There’s only one ☝️ life within that’s just taken different forms. • Thus it absolutely follows equality. No one is low or higher in cast, race or religion. We are all one ☝️ • Guru Sahib (starting from Guru Nanak dev ji to current Guru Granth Sahib ji ) teaches us how to live an enlightened life while dealing with everyday scenarios • The meditation practice is to remind us everyday to see the one life force (call it God, light, divine, Allah, energy) and to never fall into duality. • It helps to break mind barriers. Guru Sahib addresses to mind a lot stating that we all have an opportunity to experience this divine within us ( yes it is very much possible) • To always stay on the path of truth. Everything is temporary other than this divine energy which is always present. So meditation helps us to stay in the present moment and not get carried away with wandering mind. • Sikhi definitely teaches us to protect those in need, again cuz we truly know we are one. I’m truly grateful to be able to walk on this path of bliss ❤🙏
SAT SRI AKAL BRO, You are amazing person, being open minded and accepting of our/ other faiths is very positive and inspirational. You are like another Sikh because you understand Humanity, it's basics of Sikhism. Best Wishes to family 🙏👍💕👳♂️🇬🇧

You guys Enjoyed Punjab a Lot . Saw a lot and learned a lot. History and Border and The Devine Golden Temple 🙏… ( where u step in and Something wakes up inside in Awe)
Those green seeds are called SAUNF (Fennel Seeds). They're served with MISHRI (Sugar Crystals). Saunf is served as a mouth freshener after a meal but because it's taste is not very good, they would give you Mishri along.
"offended"? You kidding me? You and your family were extremely humble and respectful. We are grateful you came and enjoyed, we are humbled and the furthest thing from offended my brother. Thank you and you family for showing us love, and I hope we showed some of that love back. Thank you again!
My dear sister and. brother you are extremely thoughtful. Love your family....that little beta has a pure soul. Well-mannered and so sweet. Your parenthood has not gone unnoticed. Now I want to go to the golden temple. Thank you for embracing the rich culture of India.
The wagah-atari ceremony is amazing. I've been in pakistan for a month now. Today(20th Jan 2023) was my first time seeing the flag lowering ceremony. It was amazing to watch the soldiers conducting the parade
A very nice effort to learn about the religion. Don't worry about offending if you make a mistake. Sikh means student. And students are expected to make mistakes while learning! Be happy and enjoy your stay. God bless!🙏💘
This is beautiful video . A foreign family in our Golden Temple looked part of Sikh community! Brilliant!! Loved this. Sikhs are very accepting, welcoming, friendly people. 👍👍👍 this video shows this .
In tears ❤.. How beautifully you both have described your visit to Golden Temple and also explained about core principles of Sikhi, truly heart warming.. It is heartening to see you guys so much full of love and respect.. Wish you loads and loads of love and support..
I have never seen such a polite, humble and sweet man and hey, you are not a foreigner, I mean just look at yourself, you belong to Punjab. Lots of love and respect bro!
As a american born new yorker, I deal with many people every day in my job, it's nice your sharing this with us to help learn of other cultures customs why it's done. I found it very interesting. TY
You guys are awesome! Honest and true to your word. So proud you embraced the culture wherever you guys went. Bought me to tears sometimes! God bless. You guys are awesome live together forever!
Hey brother that expressed my feelings and experiences of the Sikh people, principles and places so much that I became a Sikh50 years ago and still doing it. Actually taking some Japanese yoga students and to there next month. One thing, I never heard about wearing your turban to bed. The kirpan and the kara and the underwear perhaps, but the turban is not one of the five k's. It covers the hair which is Kesh (one of the five K's) and which is considered sacred to the Sikhs (and a lot of yogis). Why, because it is part of the body and has some function wouldn't you think? Ha Ha. more on that if interested.
U both look typical INDIAN/ BHARATIYA!!🇮🇳🇮🇳. Dint luk lyk an outsider 👌✌️. Everytime I see this parade, I get goosebumps n tears in my eyes!!! Bt the way...the Indian side is called ATARI BORDER & nt Wagha
Was stuck in Bedford, sikh felt upset, Auntie passed away, walked into a church, Vicar saw my bangle, let me be - consolidated me, no questions asked! God bless every religion!
You made a pilgrimage to The Golden Temple. Something every Sikh aspires to do. Much respect to you and your family. By the way, the shopkeeper was correct about the length of the Pagri. It’s a matter of personal choice. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about Sikhism. You look amazing wearing a turban, and so does your little boy! Love from a British Sikh.
