Danny coming back to wage war on the entire world would be the *only* good thing to come from *that* ending. Would love to see the entire world drowning in dragonfire after what they did to her.
She did it to herself, you could see her descent into madness throughout the series if you were paying attention. Her casual executions of everyone she felt deserved death, whether it was just or not showed it throughout the series. Bringing her back with that same madness would just acerbate John's tragedy. HE was one of the very few people in the series who cared about anyone but himself.
No I am fairly sure that Daenerys will wake and find that her burning of King's Landing was just a dream, and that she just destroyed the Red Keep, because the mass murder of ordinary people made no sense, but revenge on Cersei made perfect sense.
She never ever showed any remorse for any of the people she murdered. The only time she showed remorse was the one young fellow who convinced her that she'd crucified his father when he was innocent.

After she burned all the Dothraki chieftains alive simply because they weren't going to give in to her demands they should have drawn and quartered her, not submitted to her authority. And the city where she had all the city leaders crucified along the roads; I bet not all of them condoned crucifying the slaves; but they got it too. How about all the peasants of King's Landing? Cersei had them herded into the city with her soldiers to use them as living shields; and Dani burned nearly all of them alive. Explain how they deserved that? And I would say her character was altered in that she began to kill her enemies with little mercy, something she had shown earlier. But to my Knowledge prior to King's landing she had never killed the innocent. Woman and children were in her eyes to be protected. Let's not forget there was no Geneva Convention in Westeros.

If Dany does get resurrected, I really wouldn't blame her for seeking revenge on Jon Snow. She should never have fallen in love with him and she shouldn't have trusted him.
Jon was the most honest and honorable man on the show. By contrast Dany had no real compassion for anyone. She blithely and remorselessly murdered her way through the entire series. And insisted it would only continue until she was satisfied that she had "broken the wheel". I get wanting to identify with her; I really rooted for her for most of the series; but the evidence of her insanity just kept growing.

But the thing is; she had incredible charisma; look how many guys fell under her thrall during the series. Good men, moral men. Jon basically took everyone at face-value; so it's no surprise he was taken in by her. You are correct; but you have to look at the context; every evil person he encountered before her was almost always utterly evil - like Ramsey Bolton. Most of the time she could pass as completely normal. In fact; there was really no good reason for her to take her entire force north to fight the Night King. If he demolished half of Westeros, maybe took out Cersei, things might have been much easier for her own conquest. But Jon also had incredible charisma and he convinced her. So sometimes things aren't completely black and white. But yes I agree; she was hopelessly insane; but most of her fans refuse to see it.
Melisandre said in the conversation with Varys, that she goes back to Volantis. Perhaps she met there Kinvara. Maybe she was sent back to Winterfell by Kinvara, her "chief".
I do see Daenerys being resurrected, but I dont agree that she will take revenge on Jon Snow because if she wanted that, she would had made Drogon burn Jon Snow with the iron throne

He was the last hero who wielded the sword Lightbringer, and was known as the "Warrior Of Light". In this story, the Night King is nomenclature that is only ever used to describe or define an evil leader.

Doesn't really have anything to do with current HBO projects, but it seems to me that the Last Hero played both sides and played both sides wrong. The Wall and the immense area beyond the Wall... did he promise the Others that these lands would be theirs and no humans would interfere? (After the Wall was built, no one ever saw an Other again, only the Night King's corpse bride - the Night King was a Lord Commander (?) of the Night's Watch who set himself up as a king and took a white woman with starry blue eyes for his queen.) And, on the other hand, did the Last Hero bring knowledge to men and singers (children of the forest) that enabled them to defeat the Others? In lore he did. So why was the Wall built. That's not all, I'd have to reread all the sources. It's just a personal opinion, the Last Hero was no Hero at all.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I think a lot of people are forgetting how Jon appeared to survive drowning in ice water, then galloping through the freezing cold🧊whilst being soaking wet, and surviving that as well. And Dany can survive fire 🔥. Jon and Dany are the 🧊&🔥 from the prophecy. Perhaps Dany is with child, unbeknownst to her or Jon, before he kills her. Dany is taken to a Red Priestess by Drogon, & is brought back to life, where she lives in secrecy, awaiting the birth of her child. Maybe Dany dies in childbirth like Leanna Stark, but the child survives, and someone who knows the truth, sets out on a secret journey with the child, to Jon, the last male Targaryen. It turns out Dany gave birth to a daughter. The daughter would be in great danger, were it known she was a Targaryen, daughter of the woman who burned King’s Landing. The girl child was born with Jon’s thick black curly hair, but she had the lavender eyes of a true Targaryen, and thus, must be hidden on the journey to meet her father. I was just thinking, wouldn’t it be interesting if during her travels, Arya hears rumors of the Dragon Queen’s survival. She actually discovers Dany in a very secure part of the world, as Dany goes into labor. Arya had planned to kill Dany, had she found her, but now finds she can’t harm her, not with Jon’s babe inside her, about to be born. Something goes wrong after the child is delivered, and Dany bleeds to death… but the girl babe lives. Arya takes it upon herself to get the child halfway across the world, to Jon safely. The journey is long and dangerous. Make a decent spinoff side story maybe?

I'm actually kind of glad you tied this into another threat that isn't Dany because I was about to say Kinvara wouldn't be able to resurrect Dany if Jon's true purpose was to kill her. Considering R'hllor would be bringing back the one person he resurrected Jon to kill. However, you did a good job of avoiding that and I can tell you pay attention lol. Well done.
Idk, as high fantasy goes the struggle between good and evil is eternal, it is about keeping balance more so than one or the other being victorious. Was the Night King bad? Is Daynerys or Jon good? I suppose it is all based on perspective. I think there always needs to be a Knight King, and Jon maybe the next. If what is said about Stark's, and Targaryen's is true, being dragon riders, and wargs then this kind of makes sense, seeing we know Jon is both, and we watched the last Night King do both. Just a thought, since GoT I always wondered why Jon went back beyond the wall instead of rebuilding it... again, just a thought.
Because winter is over and soon the territory beyond the wall becomes a place which is nice for living. John has already sacrificed "love of his life" so no more wars
If they do bring back Dany, I hope they are just not going to bring her back to be the villain again... That would be some lazy writing and more on par with Dan and Dave vision of GoT season 9. There is almost as much of the Westerosi continent north of the wall than there is south of the wall. Much ground to cover and new secrets to unveil... Maybe the Night King was being pushed south by something that is even worse than him... They might have been on the run like the Wildlings were. On top of that, what made the Wildlings unite and move south was never said to be the Night King... More Game of Thrones is great, just don't rehash the main plot again and again... Moving things forward would be better. There are other tales to tell...
Plus there's ment do be a dragon sleeping underneath winterfel and that it has a hot spring underneath the castle so there could be a dragon egg underneath there
I think Jon will stay good. It shows how nurture can overcome nature. He was raised a Stark not a Targaryen. So, will blood be thicker than water? I don't think so. It's a good antagonistic view all the same.
Our Three Eyed Raven here is missing an important possibility. BRAN COULD BE THE THREAT FROM THE NORTH. Bran, or more accurately The Three Eyed Raven, could have been the one that drove Daenerys insane so that he could become King of the South while Sana becomes Queen of the North, thereby splitting Westeros so that it can't be united and preventing Aegon the first's dragon dream from coming true. AND IT DIDN'T. Jon didn't stop the Night's King, Arya did. And she doesn't have a drop of Targaryen blood. And Jon most certainly didn't "unite Westeros" either. Cersei's forces weren't there, and maybe I missed a two second shot someplace along the line but I don't recall any Dornishmen having shown up either. And let's face it, BRAN DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO STOP THE NIGHT'S KING FROM SUCCEEDING since returning to Winterfell, and his explanation of what the Night King wanted to accomplish was about as convincing as someone pulling a sheet over their head and yelling BOO. Bran is also by no means omnipotent. He originally thought that Jon's name was Jon Sand. It wasn't until Sam told him about the annulment and secret marriage that he checked and saw for himself that Sam was correct. Which means that Bran has to know enough to look for something to see it. I've also watched the scene where Arya kills the Night's King over and over again, and that scene is really ambiguous. The Night's King certainly takes his sweet time killing Bran, if that's what he intended to do. But okay, artistic license, driving up the tension with Jon facing the Ice Dragon, Jorah's death, and the Night King's glacial walk toward Bran, who knows. Maybe he was "savoring the moment" or whatever. But then the Night's King doesn't reach for his weapon until Bran goes from looking directly into the Night King's eyes to looking behind him. Was Bran warning him that there was still a witness to whatever was about to happen and the the Night's King was about to be attacked form behind? What is certain is that the Night's King knew he was about to be attacked from behind AFTER that glance. At this point we're all free to believe what we want. And we can bandy back and forth over it until the cows come home, but none of us can say for sure what would have happened next if Arya hadn't flown in like Spiderman (gasp!) just in the nick of time! Phew. Daenerys and Jon's baby. Much as I hate to, I have to chalk this one up to the desperate dreams of Jon + Daenerys shippers (like myself). If Daenerys with a slight case of baby belly was part of a deleted scene, then the scene was deleted. Period. Hang it up. D. sans baby belly is what aired. So what are they going to do now? Stuff it back into a scene in the sequel with a shoe horn someplace and hope nobody notices? Game of Thrones fans not notice? GAME OF THRONES FANS? Come on. D & D might have tried something like that, but thank The Seven Above they're long gone people, and I don't think for a single moment that HBO will ever let those two anywhere near this franchise again. Like EVER. You've got a better chance of finding the Night King himself hiding under your bed tonight with a winning lottery ticket he wants to give you. Where was Drogon taking Danny's body? Bottom line - we have no way of knowing. I didn't see a compass anywhere in the throne room and given how short a time Jon was in King's Landing I don't believe he could tell whether Drogon The Black Dread redux was heading west, east, north, or south. And as for reports of a dragon heading east goes... you've got to be kidding. Just after Drogon finished turning King's Landing into something resembling a passed out drunk's more than well toasted pop-tart? People would have been seeing dragons everywhere and headed to all points of the compass. Besides, "east" is about as vague as you can get even it it's true. Most of the known world is "east" of King's Landing. He could have been headed to Valeria's ruins (there's no way to know for sure, but unless there are more dragons hanging around Valeria without anyone noticing, Jorah and Tyrion saw him fly over just before the stonemen showed up), or he could have been headed to Asshai, or back to where dragons originally came from according to some theories. That said, I really do love the idea of Danny getting new batteries, a quick repair at a local mall, and booted up by The Red Priests of Volantis. I just don't need to see her as the Mad Targaryen Queen again. The first time around I found that about as entertaining as taking a good swig from a milk carton in the fridge, only to find it had gone sour and "chunky style". Ew. Besides, if I hear just one more producer speak the phrase "Dark And Edgy" I'm going to the next con for the express purpose of yanking hard on his belt buckle and puking into his tighty whiteys. And if they decide to "Change it up" and "subvert audience expectations" by letting Jon have a turn at playing The Mad Targaryen...I'll do something that involves Ex-Lax, a waffle iron, and some vasectomy tools!

The show runners were not this clever to have thought this through and just bombed the last season. Everything that happened in Season 8 had nothing to do with anything, but poor writing.
I love how this video mainly focuses on the show. How about that fact that Rheagars son from his first marriage is a teenager in the books….he’s young Jon trying to get to Dany. Theory only goes so far we have to wait for the last two books to know the actual truth.
i think you should work this one out tree eyed, the author of GoT has said the last season is not cannon. and given how trash and rushed it was because 2 directors wanted rush off to do star wars (which they then turned down) they took NO pride in their work and just hashed it together.
David Benioff was seriously ill, that is why they left the series and why they have not worked on another series since. Blame HBO for not finding a way to make a smooth transition to new showrunners.

If I were Drogon, I would have toasted Jon to a lump of coal for killing my mother. I wouldn't have cared what Jon's motivation. And unlike another so-called authority, I believe that ultimately Dany's motivation was good for the world, but she realized that one had to break a few eggs to make an omlet. Jon thwarted this.
There were 4 eggs transported with visaerys and aegon the 2 youngest son's of raenyra 3 of them found their way to Daenerys .... so along with Drogon there could be another dragon hedged from a yellow egg.....

I think if they brought her back it would be at an older age when her child is old enough to take the throne. So at that time she would look different as an older woman, so if they got another actor for dany it wouldn't be so dramatic of a change.

I honestly like my theory better than the whole resurrection theory, seeing as the Lord of Light only brings people back for a purpose and she seems to have served her's. Mine is more wholesome. Braavos is east of Westeros. Drogon is flying east. Maybe he's bringing her back to her old house with the red door in Braavos. The only place she ever truly considered home. It would make sense that he's bringing her to the place where she felt safest.
I my self had imagined someone finding Dani with her dragon guarding her this person removed the dagger from her heart while she lies in the city of achi she is awaking this person told her what happened to the iron throne and she did achieve her gole of breaking the wheel up to a certain point certain point but much is still to be done
GRRM doesn’t write fairytale endings. If Dany comes back, rest assured it won’t be all ☀️ and 🌈. We’ve seen how she takes betrayal. This would be the worst betrayal of them all, in her eyes. Her heartbreak would’ve turned to deep rage and vengeance, like Igrit, but worse, as she’d have Drogon. I know it was said Kit had been in talks w/ GRRM about his plans for the character, so don’t expect Kit to give a fairytale ending either. These are stories of flawed human beings, during brutal times. It’s also about Power, and how power works. How power is wielded in GRRM’s world is the same as in this world. The only difference is they have magic and we have advanced technology. That’s it. GRRM’s stories and characters can teach us a lot about how the world works, and about human beings in general imho.

As after the end of the show we know that the producer where just making shit up they thought might be lookin tiktok on the screens it is pointless to assume there might be a scene referring to a TV Show that was even being thought off at them time. Maybe if there is a sequel created by better people they might build on that vision but even so it will be the series of the morderous J.S. so all we can expect there is another disappointed for fans of Daenerys character.
Well, they brought John Snow back to life. He was stabbed multiple times. I'm pretty sure they can bring Daenerys back to life from one stab wound. And if she was pregnant, she has a right to come back and rain fire down on John Snow for what he did.🔥 😩 🤰 He could have locked her up in the same dungeon as her dragons instead of killing her. Doesn't really have anything to do with current HBO projects, but it seems to me that the Last Hero played both sides and played both sides wrong. The Wall and the immense area beyond the Wall... did he promise the Others that these lands would be theirs and no humans would interfere? (After the Wall was built, no one ever saw an Other again, only the Night King's corpse bride - the Night King was a Lord Commander (?) of the Night's Watch who set himself up as a king and took a white woman with starry blue eyes for his queen.) And, on the other hand, did the Last Hero bring knowledge to men and singers (children of the forest) that enabled them to defeat the Others? In lore he did. So why was the Wall built. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think a lot of people are forgetting how Jon appeared to survive drowning in ice water, then galloping through the freezing cold🧊whilst being soaking wet, and surviving that as well.

Maybe Dany dies in childbirth like Leanna Stark, but the child survives, and someone who knows the truth, sets out on a secret journey with the child, to Jon, the last male Targaryen. It turns out Dany gave birth to a daughter. The daughter would be in great danger, were it known she was a Targaryen, daughter of the woman who burned King’s Landing. The girl child was born with Jon’s thick black curly hair, but she had the lavender eyes of a true Targaryen, and thus, must be hidden on the journey to meet her father.
I was just thinking, wouldn’t it be interesting if during her travels, Arya hears rumors of the Dragon Queen’s survival.
She actually discovers Dany in a very secure part of the world, as Dany goes into labor. Arya had planned to kill Dany, had she found her, but now finds she can’t harm her, not with Jon’s babe inside her, about to be born.
Something goes wrong after the child is delivered, and Dany bleeds to death… but the girl babe lives.
Arya takes it upon herself to get the child halfway across the world, to Jon safely. The journey is long and dangerous.

Idk, as high fantasy goes the struggle between good and evil is eternal, it is about keeping balance more so than one or the other being victorious. Was the Night King bad? Is Daynerys or Jon good? I suppose it is all based on perspective. I think there always needs to be a Knight King, and Jon maybe the next. If what is said about Stark's, and Targaryen's is true, being dragon riders, and wargs then this kind of makes sense, seeing we know Jon is both, and we watched the last Night King do both. Just a thought, since GoT I always wondered why Jon went back beyond the wall instead of rebuilding it... again, just a thought.

If they do bring back Dany, I hope they are just not going to bring her back to be the villain again... That would be some lazy writing and more on par with Dan and Dave vision of GoT season 9. There is almost as much of the Westerosi continent north of the wall than there is south of the wall. Much ground to cover and new secrets to unveil... Maybe the Night King was being pushed south by something that is even worse than him... They might have been on the run like the Wildlings were. On top of that, what made the Wildlings unite and move south was never said to be the Night King...
More Game of Thrones is great, just don't rehash the main plot again and again... Moving things forward would be better. There are other tales to tell...

I think Jon will stay good. It shows how nurture can overcome nature. He was raised a Stark not a Targaryen. So, will blood be thicker than water? I don't think so. It's a good antagonistic view all the same.

Our Three Eyed Raven here is missing an important possibility.
BRAN COULD BE THE THREAT FROM THE NORTH.
Bran, or more accurately The Three Eyed Raven, could have been the one that drove Daenerys insane so that he could become King of the South while Sana becomes Queen of the North, thereby splitting Westeros so that it can't be united and preventing Aegon the first's dragon dream from coming true. AND IT DIDN'T.
Jon didn't stop the Night's King, Arya did. And she doesn't have a drop of Targaryen blood. And Jon most certainly didn't "unite Westeros" either. Cersei's forces weren't there, and maybe I missed a two second shot someplace along the line but I don't recall any Dornishmen having shown up either.
And let's face it, BRAN DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO STOP THE NIGHT'S KING FROM SUCCEEDING since returning to Winterfell, and his explanation of what the Night King wanted to accomplish was about as convincing as someone pulling a sheet over their head and yelling BOO.
Bran is also by no means omnipotent. He originally thought that Jon's name was Jon Sand. It wasn't until Sam told him about the annulment and secret marriage that he checked and saw for himself that Sam was correct. Which means that Bran has to know enough to look for something to see it.
I've also watched the scene where Arya kills the Night's King over and over again, and that scene is really ambiguous. The Night's King certainly takes his sweet time killing Bran, if that's what he intended to do. But okay, artistic license, driving up the tension with Jon facing the Ice Dragon, Jorah's death, and the Night King's glacial walk toward Bran, who knows. Maybe he was "savoring the moment" or whatever. But then the Night's King doesn't reach for his weapon until Bran goes from looking directly into the Night King's eyes to looking behind him. Was Bran warning him that there was still a witness to whatever was about to happen and the the Night's King was about to be attacked form behind? What is certain is that the Night's King knew he was about to be attacked from behind AFTER that glance. At this point we're all free to believe what we want. And we can bandy back and forth over it until the cows come home, but none of us can say for sure what would have happened next if Arya hadn't flown in like Spiderman (gasp!) just in the nick of time! Phew.

Much as I hate to, I have to chalk this one up to the desperate dreams of Jon + Daenerys shippers (like myself). If Daenerys with a slight case of baby belly was part of a deleted scene, then the scene was deleted. Period. Hang it up. D. sans baby belly is what aired. So what are they going to do now? Stuff it back into a scene in the sequel with a shoe horn someplace and hope nobody notices? Game of Thrones fans not notice? GAME OF THRONES FANS? Come on. D & D might have tried something like that, but thank The Seven Above they're long gone people, and I don't think for a single moment that HBO will ever let those two anywhere near this franchise again. Like EVER. You've got a better chance of finding the Night King himself hiding under your bed tonight with a winning lottery ticket he wants to give you.
Where was Drogon taking Danny's body?
Bottom line - we have no way of knowing. I didn't see a compass anywhere in the throne room and given how short a time Jon was in King's Landing I don't believe he could tell whether Drogon The Black Dread redux was heading west, east, north, or south. And as for reports of a dragon heading east goes... you've got to be kidding. Just after Drogon finished turning King's Landing into something resembling a passed out drunk's more than well toasted pop-tart? People would have been seeing dragons everywhere and headed to all points of the compass. Besides, "east" is about as vague as you can get even it it's true. Most of the known world is "east" of King's Landing. He could have been headed to Valeria's ruins (there's no way to know for sure, but unless there are more dragons hanging around Valeria without anyone noticing, Jorah and Tyrion saw him fly over just before the stonemen showed up), or he could have been headed to Asshai, or back to where dragons originally came from according to some theories.
That said, I really do love the idea of Danny getting new batteries, a quick repair at a local mall, and booted up by The Red Priests of Volantis. I just don't need to see her as the Mad Targaryen Queen again. The first time around I found that about as entertaining as taking a good swig from a milk carton in the fridge, only to find it had gone sour and "chunky style". Ew. Besides, if I hear just one more producer speak the phrase "Dark And Edgy" I'm going to the next con for the express purpose of yanking hard on his belt buckle and puking into his tighty whiteys. And if they decide to "Change it up" and "subvert audience expectations" by letting Jon have a turn at playing The Mad Targaryen...I'll do something that involves Ex-Lax, a waffle iron, and some vasectomy tools!

i think you should work this one out tree eyed, the author of GoT has said the last season is not cannon. and given how trash and rushed it was because 2 directors wanted rush off to do star wars (which they then turned down) they took NO pride in their work and just hashed it together.
David Benioff was seriously ill, that is why they left the series and why they have not worked on another series since. Blame HBO for not finding a way to make a smooth transition to new showrunners.

Braavos is east of Westeros. Drogon is flying east. Maybe he's bringing her back to her old house with the red door in Braavos. The only place she ever truly considered home. It would make sense that he's bringing her to the place where she felt safest.

As after the end of the show we know that the producer where just making shit up they thought might be lookin tiktok on the screens it is pointless to assume there might be a scene referring to a TV Show that was even being thought off at them time. Maybe if there is a sequel created by better people they might build on that vision but even so it will be the series of the morderous J.S. so all we can expect there is another disappointed for fans of Daenerys character.
