I’ve personally started shipudden as an adult and I looked up a filler list and skipped all that shit and I skipped episodes that didn’t have cool fights. For all the story, I just watch youtubers to know the story. But I’m a weird guy. This may not be enjoyable for some viewers but I found it to be the best way for me to watch it as I don’t have the obstacle of having to wait for new episodes to come out. But I can only imagine the pain of waiting for new episodes only to tune into a fucking filler episode with no substance or story elements in it.

His plan was to take the nine tailed fox after he destroyed the leaf village with it. If Minato hadn’t broken Obitos control over the fox he would have destroyed the village and kept the tailed beast.

Naruto & Killer B confront Tobi & the 6 Reanimated Jinchuriki, while the 5 Kage fight the real Madara. As night begins to fall the 5 Kage are overpowered by the reanimated Madara, while Naruto & Killer B being backed up by Kakashi & Guy fight against the 6 Jinchuriki. Naruto is eaten by Son Goku & earns the respect of the Tailed Beasts including the 9 Tailed Fox Kurama who helps him remove the black rods from each of the 5 remaining Tailed Beasts after removing Son's using a combination of Shadow Clones & Sage Mode. Sasuke who escaped Zetsu's custody earlier that day came across Itachi & followed him to Kabuto's hideout where they had to fight the various abilities the reanimation jutsu caster had collected without killing him. Itachi traps Kabuto in the otherwise endless loop of the Izanami until he undoes the Reanimation Jutsu. Madara survives the reanimation jutsu being undone by changing the terms of the summoning contract with him & finishes off the 5 Kage only for Tsunade to be saved by her reanimated lover giving her his chakra. Kakashi then realizes that Tobi was actually his friend Obito as their Sharingan Eyes are linked to eachother as Madara arrives at the battlefield & The 10 Tails gets revived. While this is happening Sasuke was bringing back Orochimaru after his Taka teammates Suigetsu & Jugo had arrived at his location having found interesting research inside 1 of Orochimaru's Hideouts earlier that day. The video really likes to recap the 4th Shinobi World War out of order. The previous 2 paragraphs was just my attempt at doing the Day 2 Section information better, which I hope is well liked. I don't have the time or desire to do any more than what I said already. I'm sure my improved version could probably be greatly improved on as well. I can only imagine that this video itself took several days to make which is really impressive.
I love the older lore, the covert cover ups and the uchiha insurrection is so interesting along with anything Orochimaru is in. Would love a second war mini series from the perspective of Orochimaru or even all three Sannin, granted we saw some of Jiriya in that time period, would love to see that.
Madara has had the longest character build up of over 300 episodes and then is brought to the series only for two 16 year olds and black Zetsu who is his will to spoil the what he had planned for a decade and a half
I think you’re downplaying how much he succeeded. He did exactly what he planned to do. He did the infinite tsukiyomi. Zetsu and team 7 didn’t change that. Madara dies before it was undone too
