Great how to! I actually started with cess slides in the drive way when I first started. It helped my body/mind understand what “boot down” felt like and how to really feel comfortable with a low center of gravity in a grind.
@@iRollerboot Hey you ever made a video on How to build your own practice grind box DIY? Or how about a video on how to slide/brake on aggressive skates without sliding out because of the plastic frame?
This lesson has given me an idea for trick request. Launch off the Death Petal nipple into a petal, cess slide down a petal, hurricaning off the nipple into fakie landing. Add spins and flourishes at your own leisure. 🤘🙏
I waxed the road out front of my dads when i was like 15 ... about 20 feet or so, with the hands down best skate for cess slides the RollerbladeTRS Alpha ... it was fun ... . bad thing is when we skated the prails or anything in that spot we would slip lol
Omg yooo ok BIG THANK YOU for this video and information 🙏. You explained this very well and opened my eyes to stuff I didn’t even know was possible. No cap. I love your philosophy about sess slides basically being grinds 👌. These actually seem attainable now 🙏
So I came across your vids and a few others on here and got inspired to start skating again. The last pair of skates I owned was the Shima 3’s!! I think that might have been like 15+ years ago lol. I’d really like a lightweight setup and have been looking at USD either the Aeon or the Carbon free and I would like to stay in the $300 range or less. Do you have any advice or suggestions/recommendations for me? Thanks in advance
Even though I can torque cess slide I find it very hard on the ankle and knee so I rarely do this trick. Am I the only one or is there a way to balance and not put too much force on your joints ?
Would someone be able to recommend me some good pads to purchase? I’d prefer them not to be huge and bulky if possible and if they don’t restrict your movement that would be a plus as well
Growing up me and my friends took apart a knock hockey table and cessed that beautiful slippery board.
Ooooo that’s perfect 🔥

Thank you my friend 🤝
Great video. Easy to understand and to the point. Even an OG like me learned a lot from it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Cheers
Glad you found value! 🤝

Aeons are great skates for sure. If you like the shima 3s then cults are still an option. Really glad that you’re back skating 🙏🙏🤘

My knees were achey after all those cess slides. Not certain if there’s a way other than strengthening exercise 🤷🏻♂️

Gform is expensive, but very low profile and effective.
@@iRollerboot thank you! I will check those out for sure. Appreciate the feedback
I’m still so bad at regular royale cess slides, got them switch… strange lol
That is very interesting 🤔
I feel like if I tried one it wouldnt go well 😂
The choppy edits really made me laugh in this one, the grass gear had me creasing
😆😆 🌱
What crashpads do u recommend?
I love my womens burton gform hip pads
Those were some sassy slides
Thank you ^__^
Almost died from all the wax on top of the ledge yesterday lol 🙃
Sorry bro 😥
