OMG I have the same experience with Coraline!! I was traumatized to the point i developed a phobia of claymation. only at 17 did I finally overcome the fear of claymation but Coraline still freaks me out.
duolingo isnt really the best app for learning languages, as they arent checked by professionals , rather made by ai (if i remember correctly?), so it wont be the best for the small details in every language. its been a problem for a while now, for example; japanese people say that the japanese course in duolingo only teaches the casual/colloquial words rather than the formal words :,) love ur vids btw!! this build turned out beautifully for someone who didnt know how to check tiles or didnt really know what maximalism was :D
The idea of maximalism is that you include whatever you like-anything you like. You want to paint the ceiling pink? Do it! You want to cover your couch in stuffed animals? Do it! You want to display a bunch of kooky mugs on your kitchen counter? Do it! It’s basically the opposite of minimalism
Omg the Coraline fear is SO REAL. I tried watching it in theaters when I was a toddler and we had to leave early because it scared me, like i was crying into my moms chest. I also love horror movies but to this day I just CAN NOT watch Coraline. No thanks. Ps. You can turn off listening exercises in duolingo if you want :)
