This project has been so fun. I was admitted into the hospital at 27 weeks pregnant and this helped fill the time & a great way to send an 'I love you' gift home with my 4 year old. 8 weeks with out momma is scary, but he now as Gerry the Giraffe to snuggle at night. Thank you!
Awe love this ! I’m so sorry you were admitted! I’m 34 weeks pregnant and can’t imagine how scary that must have been! So happy you had something to do to pass the time ❤️❤️
I just finished part one it’s not perfect my wool was too think & the ears don’t curl as much as yours but very proud only 2nd item I made just taught myself on utube & thankful for you as I learnt heaps & would love more tutorials like this one it helps beginners to learn, appreciate you🫶
what a great tutorial iv'e made one for my neighbour i think she will really love it , i know i do that i'm making another one, i really enjoyed making it🥰❤❤
This is so stinking cute. I just finished mine tonight. My biggest tip to others is to make sure you stuff the neck well. My giraffe's head is a little floppy
Well, he turned out beautifully! That yarn was such a pretty color, but it was giving you a fit with the shredding. Are all chenille yarns like that? Do you know what I like about your videos when you’re speaking there’s no music so it’s easy to understand what you’re saying. It makes your videos enjoyable to watch. There are videos where people are trying to talk on top of music and it is pretty I especially love possums I’m not sure that you have one in your videos. I’ll have to go back and check but if you haven’t, that would be my suggestion lol.
Thank you!! Yes I find all chenille yarn is like that but this one was especially bad ! Awe thank you, the means a lot, so happy you enjoy them! I have not made a possum but I can add it to my list forsure !❤️
Yes sometimes they don’t like to sit! I only can get mine to sit if I pull the legs out to the side (like the photo). Another options if you want them to sit is to put weighted beads in the bottom area!

For the nose, if I embroider it, should I use same velvet yarn or acrylic/cotton yarn?
Either would work! But if it was me I would use cotton !
My completed plushie isn’t sitting. Any tips for that?

@@doubledutchcrochet I made a round tail instead and it sits a bit now.
