- Payitaht Abdulhamid takes us back in time to the fight for the existence of the Ottoman Empire. The story depicts the life of Sultan Abdulhamid Han who ascended the throne in 1876 and remained on the post for 33 years. It also follows the events that took place in the Ottoman State and around the world during the time of the “Almighty Sultan”.

Thanks to these Turkish dramas at least we muslims found out who our real heroes are and what are their sacrifices for us, otherwise since our childhood we have been only watching and following the Bollywood and Hollywood heroes and been away from our religious thoughts. So I thank Allah that he showed us our reality and our magnificent past which can also be said to be the description of our glorious future.
