- Payitaht Abdulhamid takes us back in time to the fight for the existence of the Ottoman Empire. The story depicts the life of Sultan Abdulhamid Han who ascended the throne in 1876 and remained on the post for 33 years. It also follows the events that took place in the Ottoman State and around the world during the time of the “Almighty Sultan”.
I am going to miss Omer🥺 He is such a gentleman,truthful,honest and on Haqh always. ❤️💔🥺
This Serie is masterpiece. I really love to watch season 2. But I can't because I don't understand turkish without subtitle. I will be really glad if TRT Draman will upload Payitaht Abdulhamid - Season 2 with English subtiltle soon. May Allah bless you with success. Ameen

It is really funny how here and in Vatanim SenSin the costume department has failed so miserably in the Greek uniform department and always shows Greek soldiers and officers in the uniform kept for official occasions and not with the real dark khaki with a soft kepi of the same colour. The only true depiction is in a series called Niobe’s Children, where Greeks speak Greek among themselves and Turkish to the officials!
