The story depicts the life of Sultan Abdulhamid Han who ascended the throne in 1876 and remained on the post for 33 years. It also follows the events that took place in the Ottoman State and around the world during the time of the “Almighty Sultan”.

@@-compound Not Grandfather, but a lot of greats and he is his grandfather. Abdul Hamid is of The Ottoman Dynasty, and Muhammad's son Bayezid II was the next Sultan. All of the Sultans after Muhammad II are of his progeny.

If I were the Sultan, I think I would go on a self-imposed exile to a far away deserted Island. The Revolutionary Marxist and Mahmut Pasha I could deal with.
